The 26th ~ Questions Unanswered And In Limbo
They say "the truth can set you free," but free is a very undefined word. One person's definition of free may be "to be without burden," but I've come to find that the truth may be just as burdensome, if not more so, than a lie. When one opens one's emotions to another individual, or room full of people for that matter, they become vulnerable to rejection as well as understanding. An open door into one's soul is an open opportunity for someone else to fill the space with yet another emotion. The warmth and compassion the truth-teller hopes and expects to receive is not always expressed. An awkward silence or avoidance of the subject completely is often the result of this, which may lead to the feeling of regret. Would lying about or suppressing my emotions be more beneficial in the long run? Or is the truth really setting me free into a limbo of unknowing and unexpectedness? Until these questions have been answered, I'll continue to sit in this uneasy limbo-land of uncertainty.

Out With The Old, In With The New!
What a better way to spend the weekend than sweeping away the old and getting ready for the new! I finally got around to cleaning up the office balcony so I can do some nude sunbathing! I wanted to get some live bamboo to plant, but when I looked online, I found that there are a billion different types and zones they can live in and height and depth to plant them. It's very overwhelming!! Does anyone out there know about Bamboo??? I need some advice! I just have this 13'x13' roof balcony that I want to have planters in with high enough bamboo to make some privacy, but not block out the sun. I Did It
I bit the bullet and called and talked to my mom yesterday. We had a nice 20 minute conversation, she had her first dose of radation yesterday. She goes back sometime this week for an MRI of her head to try and determine where the cancer orginated from. They still have no clue what type it is though. I offered to drive her and my dad to any doctor appointment if they needed it and I plan on going out to see them Saturday. Sorry I haven't been on here much, been in Tennessee. She made it through the surgery fine. They had trouble with her blood pressure at first but now it is up. She has developed pneumonia, but they have been giving her some really good anti-biotic drugs and and it to where she will be able to come home Monday. This is good because now I don't have to worry about driving down there in case something was to happen. I appreciate everyone's support through all of this. Ma'am?!?
I went to the store yesterday and picked the smallest line to stand in. The checker was a nice young man who looked like he just got hit by the puberty stick. As I inched closer checking out the tabloid headlines (Come on who don't?) He says "Hello Ma'am and how are you today?" Ma'am!? Ma'am?! Master apparently has not been feeling well for a while and went to the doctor yesterday. Grandma #2
Well, here is yet another post in my dedication to my grandma. As the days go by it doesn't get any easier to accept the fact that she is gone. It doesn't hurt any less than it did the day she died. We are supposed to cleaning all of her stuff out of her house, yet I can't bring myself to going over there. I was sitting here the other day thinking, and every thing that came to mind was memories of my grandma. From her taking me to baseball games when I was a kid, to her yelling at me for getting in trouble with the cops when I was a teenager. To be honest I don't have one bad memory of the time I spent with her. Even the last 6 months, while her body was giving out and it was hard for her to breath, the time with her was worth it.

Ever have that feeling you are in a good mood, and then you just feel blue all of a sudden with no reason or cause? You are in a funk, and there is not reason to feel this way and it gets your mind wandering about a lot of different things, and even the normal stuff that puts you in a good mood doesn't seem to work. Quick Update
Well, I’m down to 30 days. 30 days and I leave this place. 31 days I get boots on ground on American soil. I’m keeping busy, a whole lot busier than I wanted to be, but what can you expect? My replacement is working hard to keep up, and he has taken up some slack, but when he has questions, I can’t turn my back. I have to be there with him and I have to pretty much hold his hand. I did sign up for the Swim the English Channel Fitness Challenge. I didn’t swim for the first 2 days because I was still peeling from my sunburn a couple weeks ago. I finally got that taken care of, and well, started out. On Friday during PT, I swam 20 laps. Not much, but it was over half a mile. That left me with 20.5 miles or so to go. 736 laps to be exact. About My Mom
OK so a little backround as to why I am making a blog about my mom.. She is a wonderful woman and has been there through a whole lot of shit I have had go on in my life.. She got very sick a few years back.. Kidney problems.. Over the time she has been sick she has been in and out of hospitals. She has fought the entire time and we have been by her side.. Well it is getting to where she is going to need a kidney transplant. And that is one of the scariest things we have had to deal with.. There are soo many things that we need to have happen.. Most improtant is finding a donor.. Well a couple of days ago I went to get blood tested to see if our blood types match.. It is the first step to being able to donate a kidney.. I guess somebody is looking over us cause I am the first person in the family to get tested and I am a match for her blood type.. Which means that I can more then likely donate my kidney to my mom.. So I am pretty psyched about that.. I am now just waiting to do the rem

On The Road...
As you may have noticed, I've been on the road quite a bit lately. According to the GPS unit, since Dec 20th I have traveled a total distance of 2,575 miles! I went to Atlanta, GA for a photoshoot and came home on the 24th. I hung around Knoxville for Christmas and then, at 4am the day after Christmas I headed for New Orleans, LA. I had a wonderful time. I wish I could take back the things I said take back the things I did. I know I can't; I can only hope to make up for the hurts I caused you. Maybe you can never go back but u can start again. Yesterday I was buying a 2 large bags of Purina dog chow at Walmart, for my dogs. I was about to check out when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think, that I had an elephant? Since I had little else to do, on impulse, I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, and that I was starting the Purina Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital last time. On the bright side though, I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of every hole in my body and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry and that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was enthralled with my story by now.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food had poison

Ok today is a new day..... I had a really bad week..I decieded to approach today with a new attitude. Things in my personal life have been kind of up and down but it could be so much worse. Always wanted a Taser. Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked my interest. The occasion was our 15th anniversary and I was looking for a little something extra for my wife Julie. Two black guys (don't call me racist, how else can I put this into context?) came in to my work today and put a huge smile on my face. Once they walked in the one looked at me awestruck and said "so you're telling me I can come in here to get a tan and then send some mail?!"
