My kids father passed away back in 2006 and I have been in contact with his family and they get to see the kids when ever I take them up but now they are 8 hours away and i have been the one making the trip everytime they never once came down to see the kids, I feel bad that i dont go up but i feel they should make a effort to come down here also.

What makes a family .... well my actual family sisters brothers parents of course all do.. But to me family means being close and having a strong bond. The people you cant wait to call when you have good news or call when you have bad news... Okay made it to class Monday.. talked to my instructors about what happen and all that plus went to finacal aide to see about the new pell grants I got to make sure that it was going to cover my schooling. Ya was kinda hopen that I could draw money on one of them to help pay bills but they all are tied to the tuition which is okay with me cause then I don't have to worry about monthly payments to the school. Which by the way so far my mid-term grade is an A for the class and a B+ on exams. As for hubbie, very weak still and gets dizzy really easy, which to a point is expected. He is going to be very limited on what he can and can not do that for sure till he gets his strength back. As for me, ya I finally broke down last nite while he was holding me. I still cry off and on but that normal for me any ways. Now just have to figure out what next. Money is will none right now and tryen to figure out shit is really getting to me. A Family Christmas
Growing up my family was very unorthodox. Christmas time was always full of beer can Christmas trees, drunkin caroling, cheap non-useful cat pissed stained presents and brandy cleverly disguised as eggnog. We did however have a family tradition. Every year this message graced our answering machine: Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house Not a creature was stirring, so drunk was the mouse. its been quite a weekend. friday was the anniversary of my grandpa's death. he died 3 years ago and each year is harder and harder to cope with. now i know that he couldn't have lived forever, but we were blessed to have him for so long it was that much harder to say good-bye. so friday was a pretty sad day for me. then sat was our family Christmas party and we had a blast. we laughed together and cried together and thats what we do best. my cousins have the best sences of humor and im so proud to be part of this family. poppy and grandma would've been so proud and i know they were looking down on us from heaven. my family means the world to me and i wouldn't change anything for all the money in the world. i can't wait until i have someone in my life with whom i can share my family because i feel so blessed to be part of such a big loving family. its hard round the holidays for me to still be single. im one of the only ones of my cousins my age, who still is. i know my price

my Mother in law and her husband are having a very bad time... when we were there for an HOUR.. she got a little gift talking about how wonderful she was.. was this little poem thing... and he said.. Family Issues!
I just wanted to let all my Fu-Friends know that I might not be on much for awhile. I am trying to deal with a stubborn ex that feels its ok for him to move on but not me. I show that I have moved on and he decides to punish me by not bringing our daughter back to me after Christmas vacation. Yes I have primary physical custody but because we live in different states its seems like my hands are tied! Great system that we have here isn't it! I don't have a car and don't have the money to make a trip down to NC where he lives to retrieve my daughter so my only recourse is to sit here biting my nails down and wait for the courts to "help" So Its not that I am being stuck up and not returning love but I am totally stressed and an emotional wreck right now. I will try to get on as much as I can but seems that I will probably be away quite a bit for a little while! XOXO!!

A little history on my family. Since I am on the outs with everyone in my family except my mother for like 6 months now, the only way I can feel like im getting my point across will be to rant in a blog. MY sister and I are not speaking due to her inability to take responsibilies for her own actions. My sister wanted to invest in my company in fall of 2007. My sister has been diagnosed with a terminal disease a few years back and was denied life insurance. Out of concern for her daughters future, I had decided to let her invest in my remodeling company. Well she has her ways about things and she went out and spent a shit load of money. Never once asked for my approval, she spent to the sum of about 35K in a month. I get a call at a 4am on the 11th day of September from my grandparents, I did not wake when the phone rang so they left a message. They were just calling to tell me that they were sitting in a Rhode Island hospital with my mother and they didnt know what was going on. They said that they didn't know too much about what had happened and my mother wasn't in the right state of mind at the time they saw her to explain. So, tonight my aunt, uncle, and cousins are moving to Israel, to one of the more dangerous settlements- Shilo. They have turned pretty religious lately, and see it as their calling in life. So I heard from a reliable source, over a late night meal that came with some delicious toast, that testicles are somewhat less than aesthetically pleasing. Family Functions
I have to admit, as important as the majority of my family is to me, anytime we have family functions, especially on holidays - I don't like them and try to avoid them. Typically it's because everyone basically follows a routine when we do them, and never break it. My mom, sister, and nephew always kind of pair off doing their own little thing, and that ray of sunshine known as my stepdad is never there at all. That part I won't complain about, though. But for the most part, family functions in my family are very simple and very boring. If it's a holiday with football, I usually end up in the living room alone watching football. Family Sucks Buffalo Balls - Seriously
Yesterday I received an email from my sister in NC to call her, it was an emergency. Needless to say I had all kinds of horrible disasterous visions pass in my mind, her and I are very close. We were always the outcasts of the family so we watched out for each other. Even though were 900 miles apart now, we're still very close and she has begged me many times to move near her. Well I opened the email and what I read was beyond shocking. A close 1st cousin of ours died last week of a heart attack, she was only 47. But what really angered me beyond any words was that no one thought of telling my sister and me, her father and all siblings refused to have anything to do with her, so she died alone, in her apartment. Right now I'm beyond angry, and am literally ready to put on my camp's, dig out the 30.06 and go plug a few assholes right between the eyes. What kind of father let's his daughter die alone? Why didn't he at least have the courtesy to contact me knowing how close we were?

I spend my time in my room. My computer is there, as is a tv, the only things I dont have are a refridgerator and microwave. T says forget it. For that matter, so does G. We dont have face to face conversations. Each of us has a computer and we Yahoo each other, rather than walk to another room. It makes things easier. Kinda. To me it seems like you never really know who your true family is. Family does not always mean blood and it doesn't always mean you are in some way related to that person. I have found that my friends are more of a family to me then my real family has ever been. My family has used me and taken me for granted. Soooo I been famping a decent amount, and yes I boot people and yes I sell spots so that I can keep famping for my family! I don't really do it for rates cause I don't really care about that.. It was a warm indian summer kind of day in early fall in Kansas, Saturday FOOTBALL day. I've decided to work on my family tree. For now, it's easier than I thought. I'm back to the late 1800's. It's not really that far back now that I look at it, lol. My family is super dysfunctional (big surprise). It's constant backstabbing and fighting with each other. Constant drama.I live on the opposite coast from them and it STILL effects me. Before I was under house arrest, Nora and me went to Shanghai Charlie's Seafood Inn located next to Lake Ohmigosh. It's a fancy eating place. I usually steer clear of them type of places. Ingredients: * 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed * 2 cups fresh yellow wax beans, trimmed * 1/4 cup chopped onion * 1/4 cup butter * 3 Tbsp. pine nuts or cashews, toasted * 1/2 tsp. dried tarragon leaves * 1/2 tsp. salt * dash pepper Preparation: Place green and yellow beans in heavy saucepan and add water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to medium and cook for 8-10 minutes until beans are tender. Drain well in colander. Add all remaining ingredients to beans and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes to melt butter and blend flavors, stirring constantly. Serves 8

Ok Now that I have your attention.... I have been on CT for maybe a month. When I am here I pick random profiles and rate the profile and MOST of the pics. I always give 10's, if I hate the pic, I simply go to the next one without tapping the rate button. Here is my beef. These chicks on here have messages... * FAN me RATE me and then add me..ok whatever. The problem is you go into a profile and almost everything is private. Click the first, rate it, click next and you get "Sorry this photo is private". Hit the back button on the browser, start over and pick another shot and BAM "Sorry this photo is private". So how the hell am I supposed to know if I want to fan this person if everything is private???? What about doing the right thing and putting private pics in a PRIVATE folder. At least that way you can look at their stuff without the back browser and the "Sorry ......." I will Fan, Rate and LOVE cool people, male or female, but I will never again Fan someone that twists

If I fan someone I want to have a good reason to come back to their page. I want to find jokes, vids, surveys, and/or lots of art. I have noticed that alot of profiles say rate,fan,add. The thing is they want you to do them ,,,but they usally will only add u back. I dont understand why i have about 480 friends ,,,but only 165 fans. I take the time to go through all that and they cant even fan me back. Hey everyone, I just ran into a peculiar situation, rare in fact, looking back at my weeks on Fubar. I rated and fanned someone, who got all upset about being fanned without having been asked 'permission' So, I'm checking to see how rare this is.... anyone out there want to be asked before they get fanned? if so how come? There may be a good reason, I don't realize yet, and I may not be the only one. I'm just asking, don't feel like you have to defend it. Anyone just happy to get fanned period! lol

Fan-of Issues.
Just want to say this quick, It's pretty simple. Due to the high imbalance between the people that you fan and the people that don't show you the time, effort, respect and consideration to fan you back, you will lose me as a fan when I catch it. It's not that hard and free to return a simple favor and show some consideration for people that view your profile. Have we gotten that selfish and lost all sense of common Fubar edicate?
