"How the hell did this happen?" That's the universal question I have been asking myself these past few involved months. The question above is not a bad question at all, in fact, once you know the story, you might view the question as hopeful or maybe not. I'm a writer, I use pen and paper to draw mental pictures. 2 sm. onions, sliced 2 tbsp. butter 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, chopped 1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained 1/4 c. white wine 1/8 tsp. basil 6 flounder fillets (about 1/4 lb. each) Salt TO COOK BY MICROWAVE: In 8x12 inch dish, combine onion, butter and garlic. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook at high 3 to 3 1/2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, mushrooms, wine and basil. Cover. Cook at high 3 minutes, and at medium 3 to 4 minutes; stir once. Meanwhile, season fish with salt, skin side only. Roll up (skin side in) and arrange seam-side down in sauce; spoon sauce over fish. Cover. Cook at high 5 to 7 minutes, or until fish is done. Delicately flavored sole cooked in white wine and cream makes a classic fish dish for two. About a month n half ago, doctor said I had HPV virus and mild dysplasia. Well after biopsy pin pointed to one area, surgery went fine cut out the area of bad cells. Well the results came back on that, i went from Stage 1 to Stage 3 in that month n half. So now have a major surgery schedule, to remove the uterus. It's official, my Dr. has released me to go back to work. So I went back to work, on call, with no problems.I won't go back full time, just on call. It's still snowy and icy here in the great state of IL, so my boss and I don't think it's in my best interest to walk around, and chance tearing my back up again. I have started back at the Y. So far some light cardio, and some very light weights. No more than 50 pounds as per the Dr, and I don't even go near that. Just stretching some things out. Finally Home.......
Yesterday my daughter and I came home from the hospital. Her surgery went really well. She had one night when her blood pressure dropped really low and started to get fluid in her lungs but she fought it all. The doctors were surprised at how quickly she was bouncing back from open heart surgery. Granted she didnt like her chest tube, central line and external pacemaker removed but it was a sign of improvement on her half. I knew she would be fine. She was fighting her ventilator after surgery so they removed it and she did just fine. I knew my baby girl was a fighter like me. Now its just relaxing and recooping time for the both of us. Hopefully in a few weeks she will be back to running around and gabbing on the phone.

Well life around here has calmed down so much! My daughter has healed so well its unreal. She may need scar removal when she gets older.. but the plastic surg. said she needs to let the scars shrink more on their own and she may just grow out of them. I AM PRAYING FOR THIS! Starting to feel back to normal....finally! Well I will never be back to normal completely but feeling closely how I use to feel before all this stuff. I think I'm enjoying Colton a lil more now. He really is such a blessing and if I never have another kid I will still die a happy women. He was being soo cute today. Hes trying to walk now and he's been pulling himself up in his play pin and trying soo hard to walk across it not holding on to anything. Well he was doing that and I was looking at the computer then I hear a thud. He had let go of the sides and went crashing down I was like oh no he is gonna start bawling but nope he just looked up me giggled a lil bit grined and did it agian about 5 or 6 times. He's also got to where he reaches for me if I walk past him and I know im spoiling him but I cant help but pick him up and give him a hug and kisses. Well I finally got my first tattoo of so many years of saying you'll never see one on me and thinking omg how can they stand the pain. Finally Getting My Shit Together After All These Years...
So far so good & yes at times a struggle. At present I have been cigarette free for 3 days, I've been off & on with the soda thing, I need to stay consistant with that. I've been taking my suppliments at least 90% of the time, being more mindful of what, when, how & how much I eat, & I went for my first of many walks 2 days ago. today I will go for my walk about 6 or so...I prefer the night time anyway. After this week it will be once per day, then eventually both breaks at work & one long walk a day on my days off. I can't keep living the way I have for 30+ years. I'd rather go down fighting anyway, whether fighting to live, to change, to grow yeah, whatever but I have not been very responsible towards my health & I am working on the reasons behind that as well. I mean, when you realize you take care of your CAR more than yourself that is just sad.....

These past few days with my friends from NYC have been great. It has given me a new lease on life & love itself. I know now why they are staying, they are taking me away for the weekend..VEGAS BABY!! We are all diehard fans of Aerosmith, and they are playing at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, that is their graduation present to me. We saw recently at the Alltel Pavilion in Raleigh, NC & I had checked on the official Aerosmith site.. They along with Motley Crue are playing in Vegas this Saturday. I just got off of my other favorite site, the NASA powerlifting forum, and just found out that I am up for an athelete of the year award for the sub masters division for powersports, which is a part of powerlifting that requires you to lift with no suportive gear at all other than a lifting belt. All though I'm not the "best" lifter out there, it is an honor to be nominated for this award, much less, to actually get the award. I have won one athelete of the year award before in the novice division, and WOW how good that felt to be thought of over several hundred people in the country in the same division. I hope this doesn't seem like bragging, but it's kinda cool when a person works for something, and someone else sees that work and rewards you for it. Even if the prize is small, one should always be thankful that some is looking at them and willing to compliment then on a job well done, or the fact that you tried your best at the very least.

As of Tuesday evening, all of my classes for the Fall Quarter are finished! I had 3 finals on Tuesday, and I did very well in all of them. In fact, this morning I saw my Algebra professor at the gym, and she said that I had gotten an A in the class and received the highest grade on the final. In my Business class I have done well the entire Quarter and got an A on my 10 page research project / presentation. So I am certain I have an A in that class as well. My English class I enjoyed the most, and just before midterms I had a B. Then I "Aced" the midterm, and after taking the final I spoke with my professor; she told me that all I needed was a C or better to get an A in the class. So I am quite happy. Finals Week
Wow! To be working part time and taking care of my infant daughter and being married, I never would have thought that school would fly by so fast. I think I have done exceptionally well and may even make the dean's list. I'm very proud of myself and I think I have reason to be. I love being back in school and hopefully in about 6 or seven more years I can be making one of the best incomes ever. Well, we can hope so anyway.

YEAH I am more than halfway finished! Tomorrow's final is open book... those are normally worse than a closed book test!!!!! Finals Suck.
It's 5:10am I slept for three hours yesterday. I have a final in three hours at 8am. I have another final on Thursday morning at 11am which I haven't gotten to study for yet. So instead of sleeping after today's final I need to study. But I also have to work from 4-9pm tonight. I probably won't be able to go to sleep until after the final on thursday. But I have to wake up on Friday and take my last final at 8am, which I also need to study for. The moral of the story is Finals suck.

So today was my last day of finals...and I am SO FREAKING EXCITED about it! After 5 finals I am completely mentally exhausted. But now I am stressing out about my math final....I went in to take it and I completely went blank! Nothing made sense to me. How can I be getting A's in all 4 of my other classes and not math.....why...because I don't freaking get it! Math sucks!!! But well school is over for at least a few weeks so I am going to enjoy it....and hit up some cherry tappers...cause this thing is addicting...LOL. Well, I took my last final this afternoon. Genetics class is finally over. I feel pretty confident on how I did. What I recieve on the final, is my grade on the class, so I'm hoping for a C. If not, guess what I get to take it again next semester. (you're gonna hear lots of bitching if that happens). Finally Got My Computer Fixed..
Well, after e-mailing Dell, calling them to leave them a message. e-mailing my Dell rep at work, and finally calling them as though it was a new issue just to get someone on the phone I finally got the thing fixed! When I finally got someone on the phone and told him that I wanted to speak to his manager, things went smoothly after that. He told me his manager was in a meeting and couldn't come to the phone (BS I'm sure), but his manager did have him contact the Protocol department...who called me directly. They called the technician to find that he was just getting ready to come by my place. The technician showed up, fixed it, and it's all happy now. Later in the evening my Dell rep at work e-mailed me back (she was out of the office all day visiting customers.) She said that they escalated my call internally....so, eventually I got a good response from people. Sometimes you just have to bitch and moan I guess.

Finally Acting Humanly Is Still Alive And Well
Ok so last Thursday here in the Puget Sound we had an insane windstorm that left 1.5 million folks without power. Of course I expected to see folks who got power on first taking advantage of that as far as gouging prices on gas and what-not and some did. What I didnt expect was to see so many folks going above and beyond the call for help when it came down to the worst of the worst. I really had my heart uplifted and felt good about being human to hear how people went out of their way to bring others they didnt know gas, food, blankets, even pay for them to stay in a nice warm hotel if really needed. I hate to sound like a cynic but when most of the time what you see is the worst of folks its a real heart warmer to see the best of them. So its awesome to see people in a metropolitan area look out for their neighbors. Its nice to see that we can not only act humanly with animals but we can act that way with each other as well.

At Duke University , there were four sophomores taking chemistry and all of them had an "A" so far. These four friends were so confident, that the weekend before finals, they decided to visit some friends and have a big party. They had a great time, but after all the hearty partying, they slept all day Sunday and didn't make it back to Duke until early Monday morning. Rather than taking the final then, they decided that after the final they would explain to their professor why they missed it. My youngest son who had just turned 18 on Dec.8th left home to met up w/a girl he met on MySpace on Dec 14th w/just the clothes on his back and not a dime to his name hitchiking. Financial Thoughts
This time of year seems particularly suited for financial attacks by the devil. The expectations of "happiness" left unfulfilled over the holiday season, the expectations of a new year, and the coming of bills. I'm looking at the people surrounding me in my life, and they are all being attacked in the same area: finances. Too many of the men have dumped total budgeting responsibilities onto the women, and now are carping about working endless hours with nothing to show - and then finding out that each cent has been carefully tracked. Feeling foolish, they attack instead of discussing, and end up being told, "fine. YOU take the finances and budget" and having a load of incomprehensible paperwork dumped on their lap. Some ideas to defeat the adversary: 1) be angry at the situation, but not your spouse. There can be no solution without both being engaged, and making sweeping "you" statements causes the other person to feel attacked. 2) be involved every month with the budget.

So had an mri done last week went ot the docs today before it started snowing. I found out i have a bulging disc between my c3 and c4 vertebrae. thast whats causing all my pain and vertigo. I begin steroid treatment for it as soon as i go to pharmacy if that doesnt work i get sterioid injection into my spine, if that doesnt work i will need to have surgery. So after a 3 year waiting list I got the letter today that my home state wants me to be a motorcycle safety instructor! Craziness because I dont need to work (Already financially secure) and I would do this job for free. They also want to pay me a nice salary, crazy crazy. I always wanted to be an instructor or teacher and there is almost nothing about bikes or riding I dont know. Bikes are my 1st love, I was on my 1st bike when I was 4. ugh regardless of the fact that my appointment is still 4 and half hours away i know the prognosis here. I have lost the baby. The physical and emotional pain here is nearly unbearable but this will be the last blog i write about this. I have decided that although my husband said we can try as many times as it takes to for me to have a healthy baby one more try after this is all i think i can handle. The nurse told me the other day i did nothing wrong that this is just nature's way of dealing with a fetus that wasnt right in some way. I can hardly believe it.. it's finally warming up here. after the mildest December I can remember, we had the coldest winter in thirty years in this area (NW PA). I've exprerienced every shade of blue, witnessed countless accidents on my hour commute to Erie, and prayed through numerous white outs that I'd make it to work, school and home. The college only cancels class when there are reports of accidents on the interstate. One night while stil at work we received reports that there was a fifty car pile up that started with a tractor trailor which swerving to avoid another trucker outside of his truck which started the awful chain. The accident blocked all my roads home and closed down I90 for six hours. You get home after a night like that and kiss the snow at your door. That was the longest 4 days off I have ever had. Due to the airport closings because of storms on the east coast the flights were all botched up in Oklahoma City and Denver. We got up at 3 am on Monday to catch a flight out of OK City @ 7 am. That was overbooked and we missed it. We also missed the next 3 flights out to Denver. Finally we caught a flight out at 1:30. We then sat in Denver for 8 hours to catch a flight out to Eugene, OR. We landed in Oregon at 10:30 pm and we arrived home at midnight last night. Fortunately for me, I got a phone call at 4:30 am from the hospital telling me that I did not need to come in this morning for we had so few new mothers in the obstetrics wing. it's done thanks to everyone who supported me and was a driving force for me to complete my schooling , well it is done just found out a few minutes ago that I got my final grade from my school and I passed I am a high school graduate and not just a G.E.D. but i got my damn diploma

OK finally got the results of my grade in Billing Principles. The class ended on 1/22/2007 and yesterday is when we got our grade cards in it. I ended up with a B!! Very excited about that! Im finally getting some peace in my life now, im doing great at work, i live alone and no one can tell me what to do, my b-days coming up and im going to spend it with good friends, im meeting great new people....what more can i ask for? Life is finally going great

1 more day to work then i will have 9 days off, cant wait been working 50-70 hrs a week since july thank god for vacation time. tomorrow i have to go in early but will get off early maybe even only have to work 8 hours would be nice to have a short day but i never count on it something always happens.

Finally Escaping....
Less than an hour before I gotta head into work and for once I'm not sitting here pissed off wishing I could be sleeping or out with friends... Well, I do wish I was sleeping but there is a sort of bitter sweetness tonight... Why? Because this is the last Saturday night I'm ever gonna have to work for Cumby's... I'm done!!! I gave my two weeks notice and it feels great to know that on April 13th I will work my last Friday night third shift! So happy I could dance! :D I'm on to bigger and better things and Cumbys can eat my dust! I'm finally escaping this hell and now I can be one of the annoying customers I had to deal with so many times... No more listening to bad pick up lines and creepy men telling me shit I aint wanna hear... And trust me, if tonite is anything like last night all the wackos are coming out to give me a true third shift goodbye! So this is my little happy blog to say Goodbye & Good Riddance to Cumbys!!! *Does a little happy dance* Teeheehee

Finally I have put the past behind me. Or at least I hope so. Last night I cried myself to sleep and now I want it to be the last time. He left and still hasn't called so all I can think is that he won't. I love him but it is time to move on. I am starting my schooling again and getting my divorce soon. I am finally moveing on. Thank you Ken for showing me how strong I truly am.

A Financial Plan For Us, The Living Slaves
One thing I have mentioned recently (but haven't really explained since a while back) is Social Credit.Social Credit is basically where the government prints its own money and distributes a monthly allowance (called The Dividend) which is enough to buy that month's food, clothing and shelter, but not enough for luxuries like movies, VCR and the like, etc. There would have to be some form of price fixing as well.Now, why would this help? For those who have read my postings about the Idiot Boss, do you think I'd be here if I had to be? Right now, all people who do not have enough money to live off their interest are slaves to corporations. With Social Credit in place, I could leave this job if my boss tries to pull any of his crap and not have to worry about how I would live. Of course, I'd geet another job sooner or later, but I would have to be respected there.Also, I wouldn't worry that my job will go overseas either. If it does, I wouldn't have to go begging to find another job

YAY! i finally get to talk to my brother. He went to japan AGAIN! and i miss him so much! :( but its all good.. he's havin a great time so im really happy for him :D anyways.. i gota go to bed! night all!
