I Have My Daughter!
My youngest daughter came back home to live with me yesterday due to my exes stupidity. Deploying
Well Im leaving Ft Bragg in an hr to fly out. Thought I was leaving last night but that didnt happen cause I was still in processing pretty late. Today I was issued my gear and still have no clue what unit I will be with or what I will be doing. Im off of here till I dont know when so later all. Jon Well I got here in Iraq ok. At this moment Im in limbo waiting for the rest of my squad to show up from different places from the US and Germany. I know what I'll be doing and actually know some of the guys I'll be working with. Some are Navy Seals and others are from other Special Ops Units from within the Army. My time on here is limited as when I leave here I wont have any access to the internet for weeks at a time till we are flown back to the rear once every 2-3 weeks. My Son
I was just told this morning that the Leukemia that was in his bone marrow is in remission. But the rest of his body is still fighting off the Leukemia so we are hoping in the next week or so the rest of his body will be in readmission and he can go home. He will still have to do Kidney Dialysis and his Kemo as a outpatient at a near by Hospital. My son is doing pretty well all things considering. He has been having Kidney Dialysis the last 2 days. His Potassium level is really high and his kidneys still arent working. His Kemo treatments are going well no real side effects from them YET!!! The Kemo is finally starting to take affect, Mason is sick today and very cranky. He had a bone marrow sample taken this morning and a Spinal kemo as well. I can tell he takes after his dad, he called a nurse a bitch and a male nurse an asshole. The Doc said that means he is getting better. Umm if she says so!!!

My Daughter Is Going To Iraq!

What's Going On With Me

I Was In The Hospital For Three Weeks
i just got home from a long stay in three diferent hospitals . i started to get very sick and ended up have two opps. on my lungs just to save my life . my right lung had two holes ,one at the top the size of a dollar and one at the bottom the size of my fist . had a colapsed luge with a chest tube over 12 inches long to help me breath and was in danger of my hart colapsing as well. i am in lots of pain and not sleeping well,but i do feel the docs. did a great job putting me back together . i have been given a new chance to live and will make the best of every day i have left. may Buddha bless and keep me in his heart. i truly found out how strong i am ,it is mind blowing what you can handle when you at deaths door.

Over the years, I've become pretty good at introspection, honestly examining myself and critiquing my actions and my life. Lately I've been thinking a lot about my relationships and love. What I've found isn't very nice or encouraging. Looking back over the years what I've discovered is that I have the ability to evoke many good emotions from the women in my life, friendship, pleasure, desire, lust. But the one emotion I don't bring out is love. Oh sure, I've been told "I love you" but what I've discovered is that with one notable exception, I'm in their lives for other reasons. I fill some need in their lives other than love, a shoulder to cry on, a sympathetic ear, some one to vent to, an escape, whatever. I know this sounds like so much self pity, but really, it's not. I just have to view my relationships in a different context. I have stop expecting love and just accept things as they are, to fill my life with friends and expect nothing more.

Help Needed
Ashley's back in the hospital one of her incisions got infected, she has a staff infection. For those of you who didn't know, my daughter Ashley has lupus. She had surgery on July 30th to remove her gallbladder because of infection & large gallstones, a liver biopsy was also done. Complications kept her hospitalized a week longer then expected. She was doing better after being released but 1 of the 5 incisions wasn't healing. The incision in her bellybutton was red & warm she also had a slight fever. She's back at Children's Hospital with a staff infection, she was taken out of I.C.U today. Thank-you for keeping her in your thoughts & prayers. Saturday afternooon i was walking home from work about 6pm on west genesee st, i saw this house with smoke pouring from the window out of the first floor apartment. Helping Friends
Ok all, recently I found out the other day that someone on here had committed suicide, no I will not name names and I think it's high time that if somebody has a problem and they are considering taking there own life, they need to get a hold of a friend on here and/or call 911 or go to www.suicide.org too! Now I would be more than happy to listen/read if somebody is having a problem and maybe just maybe I can help because to be quite honest and blunt, I don't like the thought of suicide for one and I damn sure wouldn't want anyone of my friends whether it be in real life or on Fubar or whatever the site is to be even remotely considering suicide, that isn't my cup of tea at all and I will do what I can, if not out of my experiences to help that person out, besides isn't that what friends are supposed to be for besides spending time with them and having fun but also to lean on them when the friend is having problems with god knows what.

Raven's Reality......
Anybody who knows me knows that I love to laugh and kid around. I have been friends with alot of people over the years, but really close to only a few. If you check my friends list on here my second "family" member is Tranquil...I have only known her since the beginning of the year, but we have gotten really close. Hey everyone, For those who are friends with or knows about one of my family members, Krazy, I am asking for continued prayers, blessings, or any sort of positive support. He was injured while serving our country in Afghanistan this last Friday. This is the 2nd time he has been severely injured in the past 18 months or so. He has "earned" more purple hearts than I own guns, seriously. He is back in the US in stable condition, but the injuries he sustained have us all very concerned. Weed-legalize It Or Not???
There are so many pros & cons to this subject. I myself think it should be made legal. It is no worse then alcohol or prescription drugs. Ive been to amsterdam and it was awesome, The people were great, crime was like non existant and there percentage of drug addicts to ours wasnt even close. When you make a substance illegal it just adds to the excitement of getting it and using it, So I know the medical info also and weed does help many. I say legalize it and see how things go. They can always reverse it.

Time
So today in our household was a big day! My one and only child got up this morning before the crack of dawn 5:00am and then woke her mother up at 5:30am. If you haven't guessed by now it was the first day of school and we are hitting one of those milestones. She started high school this morning. Let me tell you this morning didn't sail very smoothly either. She lost her schedule and it took an hour to find so she was hurried and only took 4 bites of her breakfast. We found the schedule as her ride honked and I got a quick kiss and off she went. I went to get her after school and she seemed a different kid. Reality for her set in that it was just another school and she liked some of her classes and then she hates others. Normal I know. There are so many hereditary debilitating diseases that most people are not aware. My brother died last November from another one...Ankylosis Spondylitis. It's very rare...both parents must have it genetically to be passed to a child and even in the rare case both parents carry it, it's still extremely rare for it to be passed on. I get called a snob alot. And this morning got a very nasty message. :( When i first joined i talked to alot of people, and made some nice friends. My life has never been a bed of roses and Ive always been told that nothing worth anything comes easy. Im happy with who I am and I feel that I have come along way. Here is a chicken recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing --- imagine that! When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try. 4 - 5 lb. I just wanted to update my friends. A few of you have been asking about my weight loss and working out.. I am still working out pretty regularly. I weighed in today I lost 6.8 pounds if the 30 I want to loose..I am happy about that. Slow but thats the best way. We made it threw Hurriane safe I think I may have said that already in a blog. We have another coming hopefully we wont get any damage. I hope everyone is good and has a great weekend.. Angie Just an update on me....Went to the Doctor Monday. He took me off one of my Siezure meds. Hopefully that will help my depression.(it can be a side effect of it). Well, I have been on vacation this week but been very busy. I know it shows I am here..and at times I am , but other times.. I been doing things around the house. My Sadness
Lets see,as of late things have been getting better,alot better then they were. No more fighting,even though there are still some people who do not know when it is time to leave someone else's husband alone. ok everyone i know i havnt been on in a really long time but we're still asking for prayers, dad is still really sick he has the tumor on his lung and it has shrunk some but he has to go through 20 days of brain radiation, today he had to go to the dr cause he's coughing so bad the poor man cant stand up. he has a cat scan monday to decide how much of a dose to give him and we go from there he went back to work the 18th but has been taken back out for the radiation treatment. so please keep prayin for him. thanks xoxoxoxo -jenn b p.s. i lost 28pounds!!!! A Bad Day
I am having a really bad day. If I didn't have a seizure today the medicine work lol.. Started off. I was just stressed so I went to the gym...After my workout I decieded to go for a awim to relax.
