Yes, I said TGIFF. Thank God It's Fucking Friday! This week went by quickly but had some snags. My fucking health insc is trying to say they're not going to cover my surgery (from back in Oct.) without a referral from my primary doctor. But I have yet to even SEE my primary because I was put on an 8 week waiting list. Besides, it was emergency surgery. It had to be done to save my fucking life. Why the hell do you need a referral for something that's already been done and was a matter of life and death? Isn't that what the damn insc is for to begin with?? Ugh, some people. That's the fucking government for you. I still need a damn job. Every good prospect is 30 mins away meaning I'd have to take the commuter which = 15 bucks round trip. Update...
It looks as though they found cancer. Next Thursday I go in for in patient surgery to have the rest removed. It is very scary for me because they also have to remove lymph nodes and this basically leaves us unaware of the extent of the cancer. I will try to keep all my close friends updated. Going Out Of My Mind
They discharged grandma after it was decided that she was going to stay in until they found a place for her in a facility. The doctor trumped everyone who was at the meeting ( he was not there) and said she was good to go home. She lasted 2 days of feeling good.... now she is back to not getting dressed, not bathing herself (sponge bath). She is not trying to do things on her won. Home care was supposed to be in place when she came home, but is just getting set up now, and not starting till maybe next week. She gets tired out from walking to the kitchen and back. She gets worried about when I go out for more then 20 minutes. There is a wait list for any facility and could take months to get her there. she will get snarky if things are not done quickly for her. She will plan my day for me and then not come with me, or complain that its all taking too long. No one is willing to help or have the knowledge to help get the stress down.... I am out of ideas

Diabetes
Ok so I have type 1 diabetes. I have to give myself 4 shots of insulin a day. My blood sugar when I woke up in the ICU was 1053. Let your head wrap around that. So I am a lot better, still have to get my levels in sync. I am trying to be a good boy but giving up sugar is hard lol. I know they have sugar free goodies and some of them taste pretty good. Anyone who has something positive to say besides watch what I eat and drink post away :)

Photo Album Mystery Solved
Apparantly all my friends got locked out of my adult albums las night. Wife Problems
Dear Dr. Phil, When I retired this past summer, I could hardly wait to spend time enjoying my favorite pastime -bass fishing. I got my own little fishing boat and tried to get my wife to join me, but she just never liked fishing. Ok so I've been here since the beginning, back when you could actually say hello to every new member personally so maybe I'm a bit jaded but it just seems that not only does CT look the other way when the unsaluted get verbally attacked... the perpetuate it. Case in point:I decided that I was just going to give in to the whole salute thing, even though I felt that it would only make me seem like I agreed with the whole salute idea.So I drug out my web cam and took two salute photos (just to be safe) and up loaded them. Summer As A Child
I was just sitting in the lounge with other Managers at work. We got on the subject of summers past as a child. For what ever reason childhood memories came back to me. I remember growing up in the Suburbs of Chicago. I was one of 5 children-middle child. My Mother and my younger Brother, younger Sister and I would go Down State Illinois to my Grandmothers Farm. My Grandfather pasted away a few years earlier so Grandma needed some help. Certainly I was not going to go out and plow the fields and tend to the livestock. Can someone tell me why so many people on here use fake pictures on their profile page. Is it to get more attention than they would get using their own picture? Fruition
Well, have to say that June has busted out all over! Had to undergo some tests, as I was worried that the colon cancer had returned. NOT! Clear bill of health, aside from diverticulitis.... but that is expected at my age. Especially since I cook and eat Southern! So a little change in diet is in order. last night was an interesting experience to say the least. fighting the car being loose all season we changed it dramatically trying to correct the problems. during hot laps the car was ok, not bad but not great. my friends son drew for me and got me the pole in the first heat race (thanks Lane)and we were off. the car was really tight but managable thru the heat for the most part, but out of turn 2 i was having trouble and had to check up to not spin and got hit, spun, and tagged in the back too. couple more dents to the collection is all. well i ended the heat in third, but gave away second when i pushed to hard out of turn 4 and got passed. third is still my best heat finish to date. the feature was pretty uneventful where instead of the car loosening up on a dry dusty track it only seemed to get tighter and i just did all i could to not wreck anyone or myself. finished the race 12th out of 20 cars a couple laps down due to some donuts i did. car is coming along and im sure

Lately something has become a bit of a pet peeve for me on here. I'll see people with the status basically saying no one has rated them, can they get some rates or love or something along those lines. I honestly cannot believe the way kids act these days. The children in my neighborhood {which is a fairly nice neighborhood} are SOOO disrespectful. I come home to find them jumping off my sidewalk with their bikes, skateboards, and scooters. Mind you, my sidewalk leads from MY front door to MY driveway. The boy next door actually even told MY son to move his vehicle one day because "he was in his way". Flowers have been knocked over, candy wrappers and such left in the yard. This morning I look out to find 2 girls "hiding" around MY vehicle and running all over my yard. I have never seen anything like this. To actually go into people's yards and up to their front doors? Ummm even my son said he couldn't imagine going on to others' property when he was growing up in such a disrespectful manner. This lady is about fed up. That is all.

R.i.p.
My dog of 12 years just died a bit ago. 1am. She will be missed so much. Had her since she was a pup. So many good times. She was a big part of our family. A much loved companion. She was not only a part of my life but also a part of my parents life when I couldn't keep her where I lived. She was also a part of my sisters life where she lived a few years with her husband and 3 boys. During family get togethers she was always there with my 2 boys and my other 7 nephews(ranging from ages 0-8.) She watched them like a mother hen...she was also a pony to a few of them. She would lay there and let the youngest kids crawl over her, pull her tail, and suck on her ears. In the end she suffered from hip dysplasia(sp) and the last few days she had a hard time walking and would sometimes fall...she finally called it quits today and I knew it was coming. I was able to pet her and let her know that it was ok to leave us...and that she was loved and would be missed. She will always be remembered.

Life Changing,
I just though I would give you all an update on my life. :) A. Moving I will be moving at the end of this semester into my sister and her fiance's place to help pay the rent. I have a job lined up out there and I start training the monday after my finals. B. School Because I am moving, I have to transfer schools. I am still saying with the Purdue school system but I am going to a different branch. I will have to take the toll road every day to get to class. While going in for a normal check up with my chemo docotor they had found something which was located in the same area as my cancer was the last time, they sent me in to have an MRI done and I won't know nothing till the 22nd to see if it's a reacurrence of my cancer. Today would have been my little brothers 49th birthday. At the age of 21 he chose to drink and get behind the wheel of his truck... He never made it home. He not only died as a result of his decision but the two people who were in the vehicle he had a head on crash with were in critical condition for several weeks. Thankfully they eventually recovered. How does someone get to the point of suicide? I just got a call from a friend of mine who informed me that another friend of mine had shot himself on Wednesday. This is too unreal for me. I just saw him last weekend! We had a drink together! How is this possible??? I don't understand how someone could really get to that point. Still Need Lots Of Prayers
My son went to vanderbilt on dec 22, and they did some breathing tests on him and xray... the xray didn't show anything but he didn't do well on his breathing tests.... they are testing him this coming monday(feb 22) for cystic fibrosis and doing an ekg on him..... In the meantime he has been diagnosed with kohler disease (somehow not getting enough blood to his feet)....they did an mri on his foot today to check him further on that and they are planning to test him at some point for marfan syndrome as well.......please pray for him that he can be treated and start getting better....

My Little Girl
Today I turned 41 yrs old and had a birthday lunch with my 18 yr old daughter. I can remember back over the years at all the scrapes, cuts, bruises, getting bucked off a horse, etc etc. Sitting there talking to my little girl over lunch,watching her mannerisms, the way she spoke to people, you name it i gleamed with pride. For this little girl over the past 8 years has been through a lot since her mother and i divorced. But through it all she has lasted with a smile on her face. As we left the restuarant she asked if we could make a stop before she dropped me off and we went our seperate ways. She pulled into the cemetary where my mother, father, and sister are laid to rest and quietly place flowers on each of their graves. The Like Button
Seems to me that if you were going to institute a "Like" button, and have it inside of a members' tooltip, that it would make more sense to have it located in the tooltip no matter where you access it from. Currently it is only accessible from the Active member Scroll bar, the online member window, and on the main screen of the "new" homepage style... It makes it difficult to return a like to a member when they cant be found in those special spots. How about writing in the code for it to be in all tooltips and/or on the member profile page.

A Poet's Thought
I was out this weekend, no computer only television and my cellphone. There was the radio but I didn't turn it on because I wasn't really interested these days in the radio. As I was out there across town with just those "big technology" besides anything electronic over there I pursued the outside. It was on the bay and I loved it but there were only few lights but what mattered was not the lights, the big million dollar houses lined up and even the city which was few minutes from where I was. It was nature, the crashing waves, the crimson sky that veiled the night sky and finally the moon which hid mysteriously in the city life. The crashing waves were everything for me as it reminded me that the sound it produces is its own. It was a breezy night as if a hat needed to be flying up there in the night sky. Ok, home from baby sitting and just relaxing at home. My Motorcycle Accident....
Two weeks ago Sunday ..My friends call n asked if I wanted to meet up with a few friends in LA,Ca...So I thought it would be nice to get a few of my friends here n we would have a great time...Meantime we rode from Sacramento,Ca to La...We get off the highway a female driver was texting on her phone n hit my best friends(Jeanna) bike n then Jeanna hit the back of mine I was found 15 - 20 feet away from my bike....My other friends were released from the hospital the next day...I didnt have the right helmet on which I was sited for...I was in a coma but with all of ur prayer n the caring thoughts I got from friends n family I came to... n found out I had 12 stitches in the back of my head..n of course bumps n buises all over my body...I am still in LA Hospital n I have been on alot of different meds ...but as of today I feel a little better ...but one thing I am going to do is miss my best friend(Jeanna)She died Sunday...We always rode together...I love her so much...Now I have a feelin

Relieved. Just got word that we have a place to live. Almost new, 3 bedroom apartment. (I'll post pics, I'm sure!) It's got more room than this place, but it's run by a Nazi.
