Well I just found out today that two people i know fairly well were killed in Iraq . these two men were stationed at NAS Whidbey Island , with EOD . I got to know them when i was in the NAVY . And i am deeply saddned by this loss . My prayers go out to their famillies . WE all know how cruel this world can be. Spiderman 3
I took my boys to see Spiderman 3 tonight. I hope they don't make anymore Spiderman movies as this one was not the greatest. One of my kids even fell asleep. There was a lot of wonderful critiscism over this show, but honestly, I didn't enjoy it at all. There weren't a lot of action scenes and when there was, it was too dark to really appreciate it. The dramatic scenes were overdramatic, predictable, and frankly - boring. The actors did a fantastic job of what they had to work with. Poor Kirsten Dunst seems to have lost a huge amount of weight. She did not look happy. But - these are my opinions and I hope other people could enjoy the movie more than I.

Yesterday was a very long day for me, and it sucked.. My little cousin is about 7 1/2 months pregnant, and went into the hospital on Friday evening around 6pm, because she was having contractions.. Not to be confused with Second Worst Date Ever. So, a few months ago I was talking with this guy online and on the phone. A Methodist Preacher who was taking a break to pursue his PhD in Theology down in Virginia Beach. He was polite, intelligent and funny online and on the phone. I'm That Guy!
Well my friends, it's been a weird August and really a weird summer. It was hot then it was cool, then it got real hot again. Then I moved out of my house! I left my wife of six years because I felt trapped. Justified, perhaps, but having been out of the house for 2 weeks, i'm just not sure what I was doing leaving and at the same time, i'm just not sure i want to go back home either. Yes I wanted some freedom, and i'm enjoying that but I do miss some things that came with being with someone. Anyway, right now i'm wrestling with some of my own personal demons that I think are keeping me from enjoying being with my wife. And to be honest, if I go through counseling to deal with this and it doesn't work, at least I can say I tried. Good News
Well yes I know I have been a little distant with you guys in the past week,I didn't go out on friday or saturday night like usual...but well...I have something to let all of ya know. A friend of mine wrote the blog below this morning. I have thought about it all day. (funny how things will do that) It made me smile, nod my head in agreement, and finally, it made me say "Hell Yes"!! now after going to doctor to try to get better i am hurt worse than before, they did exams and put me through a hell of a lot of physical pain to tell me they dont know whats wrong, now i have to go see 2 more different doctors........... I can't believe I have found such a wonderful man to share my life with. He is such a great guy! My Travels

Leaving For Awhile

Pain
So I have a stress fracture in my left foot my metatarsal bone, which is located above the tarsometatarsal joint and below the toe line. The pain today is not near as bad as yesterday. It was worse than childbirth or getting a tattoo. Good lord! I have a road trip planned for Saturday to go see the Hockey guys on the road game. Personal Victories
I just got officially transfered to the Santa Barbara club. I moved here 3 weeks ago. The good news is that they need Yoga Instructors. The bad news is that Santa Barbara is the center of the universe for YOGA, so everyone has extremely high expectations. . .on top of that, this last Tuesday, whoever the instructor was supposed to be missed the class, and 40+ people were hard core PISSED OFF. So I showed up early, got organized and I had about 22 people - one brand new person, who did well, and the class went very well and everyone was pleased and I was well-received......WHEW!! I will be the regular teacher on Tuesdays and Thursdays now and I am writing a proposal for the country club for a M, W, F class, to begin next week. All the moms have seen me doing Yoga with their kids, prior to swim team practice, on the pool deck and they're chomping at the bit. . . I've been down and out for almost two weeks. Really in a funk. Updates On Cameron, Carson, & Caleigh
I want to THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU who have reposted, commented, prayed and passed on for more prayers. There is some to update on my cousins. You guys... all of you... are truly wonderful!!! Cameron's CT Scan came back and she has a cracked forehead and one eye socket is pretty banged up, but her sight should be fine. The seizures have slowed to an almost stop. They took her off the ventilator this morning and she is currently awake in the hospital. She is being responsive and we are still waiting to hear how she is doing overall and what her extended prognosis will be. However, it is seeming that she is doing much better. Carson came out of his surgery last night and it went really well. He has over 100 stitches on his face, but he still has his eye and hopefully in time, he will regain the sight in that eye. *crosses fingers* Caleigh went to church this morning with my daughter and sister's family. Well this will be the final week of my finals. I know I haven't been on much and for that I am sorry. With all the funerals last week then finals, it has really took a tole on me both physically and medically. I might take a few weeks off fubar to get my life and my mind situated again.
