Over the last week I keep getting random, and unpredictable bursts of people rating my default photo. Casper/Mills/Evansville, WY... The coolest things about it (so far) are that my friend RyotGrrl lives out here and that I noticed a sign that said "NERD" as I was coming into the airport. The job is ok, but I'm lacking some skills with one of the welding processes and it's holding me back in pay. The living situation is a wholly different story. In the week plus days that I've been here, My crew has been to four different hotels: Shilo Inn, Ramada Inn, Showboat, and Westside. At the Ramada, they booked me and two others in the suite under MY name, and then one of the others spent $200 on long-distance calls. I get nothing back. In fact, the flight, hotel, $100 advance and tools ALL come out of my checks at a max of $300/wk. Mind you the pay is good, if I can get the overtime, but still.. What with an apartment back in Seattle, the hotels here and the money coming out of my checks, I expect to lose about 10-20 lbs. In other news, my camera has turned up missing... Up ahead in this

Today Is A Very Sad Day
I was notified at 10am this morning that a very very good friend of mine of over 10 year died of a brain aneurysm this morning at her home. She was only 35 years old. This was totally unexpected and no one knew that anything was wrong with her. I am in total shock, and very sad about this. I have tried to hang out on here but I can not keep my head on straight. My Husband And His Recovery
After exercising his mouth daily and trying to catch up with all the missed work at his job he is about 90% of what he was prior to his stroke. Driving is not a difficulty to him as it was a few weeks ago. Typing is not as a difficult as it was a few weeks ago. And walking around is getting better after his balance was effected. He says that is tongue feels swollen all the time and his biggest complaint is that he bites his tongue and lip far more that ever has. His other complaint is that his right arm and hand feels colder than usual. Today he gets a blood test, has a neurology appointment and has to run off to speech therapy session too. On Thursday he also he sees his primary physician to get a check up for overall health and results for his blood test he had today. This is going to be a very busy week.

December 3rd
December 3rd will mark the 8th anniversary of my sons death. On this day he was born a still born. It has been so hard for me to get through this so many times but I've done it so many times. It doesn't get any easier at all. B/c when I look at my nephew Cameron and my niece Skylar. I see all the things that I'm missing with my son. But even though he is not with me right now. I know he is watching me and looking out for me too. He is my special angle in the sky's. I think about him every single day that I'm living. My Worst Fear....
Since becoming a mom my greatest fear has always been having to watch my child go before me. When I was pregnant with my youngest and my son's father passed away that fear only multiplied. Every time my boys get a sniffle I'm ready to rush them to the hospital. A couple of days ago I found out that a very good friend of mine's son has been diagnosed with Leukemia. A very agressive form that is difficult to treat. He is only nine years old. His big sister is my son's off and on girlfriend/best friend. Just Got Back From Hospital 10 Hours Ago

Staff Meeting
Today, as the last Friday of the month, we have a staff meeting at our corporate office which is 75 miles away from my home. So... I am up early to get ready for the long but beautiful drive through the foothills of the Cascades. This morning I am supposed to be doing a presentation during this meeting so I have been preparing for it over the past few days. Then ... when the meeting is over around noon I need to rush back home where I will be conducting another meeting for our fundraising event. Just another day ... lol When I get home I will be taking my son out to dinner to have some one-on-one time with him. He does not see me much and has been complaining to me and his dad about all the meetings that I have been attending.

Update After Surgery :)
Surgery went well, very sore from this one, worst pain with any of them, but the doctor is very happy with the outcome, everything has changed now, he took the metal out, fused the bone together, and there is no metal at all now, he said the 2 screws were holding it very well, I'm very happy, because I know I'm on the road to recovery for sure now. Update On My Parents
This is probably the hardest blog I've ever written thus far, but with so many wonderful friends sending well wishes and the fact that I don't want to miss anyone who has sent them, I felt it needed to be done. As many of you know, my mother was taken on Monday, by ambulance, to the hospital. Her heart rate was over 300, her BP 275/180 and she couldn't breathe. After spending time with her both yesterday and today, and speaking with two of her doctors, I have some updated information. She was diagnosed with breast cancer about 12 years ago. After going through the required regimen of treatments and a radical mastectomy of one of her breasts, it went into remission for almost 7 years. Then about 4 years ago, the drs discovered that the breast cancer had metastasized to several areas of bone. Once again, she went through treatment and they declared she was once again in remission. After speaking with her oncologist today, they have discovered tumors on a few of her organs and

White Beans with Escarole and Tomatoes This ready-in-no-time dish is often a huge surprise to those who think they don't like sauteed greens. Why Do So Many People Equate Being Online With Being Rude
What is with this attitude that because fubar is a virtual community, that courtesy, and manners are dropped at the door. I act the same way online as I do in r/l...in fact I tend to be a little more polite, and considerate online, because it's harder to know if you have hurt someones feelings online. Just because it's the net, doesn't mean that people are any less likely to be hurt, or upset by cruelty, rudeness, and the like. It hurts just the same as those same things do in r/l. Best Ever Meat Loaf Make the loaf up the night before or in the morning and then pop it in the oven when you get home from work. Make and extra and freeze it for next week! So many meals in so little time. Serving: 8 Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes Total Time: 45 minutes INGREDIENTS: 2 onions, chopped or grated 2 pounds ground beef 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs 1 large egg, (or 2 small eggs) 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon dry mustard 2/3 cup BBQ sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper DIRECTIONS: 1. Today we are heading south to visit family members in the San Francisco Bay Area... We will be staying in Campbell most of the time and also head out to San Francisco and to Santa Cruz for a trip. Please Pray For Me-part 2
TheRH (not feeling well)@ CherryTAP I regret to inform something bad happened. As you may or have not known I have gone 11 months almost a year without being the hospital. Well this stopped at 6:20 PM CST wednesday night. I had a mild seizure and have re-injured my back. The take the level for the anti- seize med, and the results came back with a .2, that is not good. The level of anti seize med that I take is rated on points low to high. Then normal range is 5-15, mine was a .2, yes that is right. I will be seeing my neurologist as soon as I can, and also have some x rays done on my back to see what's up. The did a cat scan on my head, and hopefully nothing new shows, that would be bad. I need to set the story straight about a blog I published on fubar last night. I was angry and upset and I had not waited to get the answers I was looking for regarding the situation in question. I should think it suicidal, my desire for escape. Although it is not the death of my body that I long for but the death of the decisions that have lead me to the desire. I accept that suffering is as it should be, a notion that gives me strength to continue because I am constantly waging against this emotion and therefore I am more honorable by comparison. Should I have ignored this fact, and instead accomplished my own desires, where would the suffering of my soul be then? Lost I suppose, lost with the desire for suicidal escape.

Some of you may have been part of a mass delete yesterday, by a certain someone....naturally it was made out to be a joke, but that's not the case. This person has some issues with a select few people around here, including me. They think they can still have control over anyone that knows them. It seems that being an atheist has become some sort of crime. I've been told that atheism is un-American. I've been insulted by so called Christians. I've been told that I should not speak to others about my lack of beliefs because it may "poison them. I was told that I could not support the military (which really pissed me off because my brother proudly serves in the Coast Guard and so did my father and that fact that they did that makes me proud to be part of the family) This all seems kinda of discriminating to me. If you replaced the word Christian, Jewish, or Muslim in any of those sentences you would be told you a discriminating and ignorant, which is true. well was tryin to load her memorial video (but Im not a Hightech Redneck) if anyone can help. So heres the story my wife went to the e.r. at 7 pm and was relesed after having been given a shot.........apparently the shot didnt mix with her prescibed medication I found her the next morning dead in our bed (I was sleepin on the couch so she could rest somthing we never did not even after an argument). The Ugly Truth
I will tell everyone the ugly truth about a certain subject I try to avoid telling. I have a hard time telling people about my skin condition for fear of being called ugly names ,but I have decided it's best to keep things in the open about myself. I have the skin condition psoriasis. There I said it. I started getting it shortly after moving to Northern Nevada in June 2004. I also have arthritis. It happened in 2002 as a matter of fact 9 yrs ago this month . I was startled by a co-worker and slammed my right middle finger in the car door and broke it . The ER doctor did nothing so now I have a crooked right middle finger that I avoid taking pictures of my right hand. I suppose I'm tell everyone this, because I'm tired of holding it back. It may help someone else to get treatment for the same problem I have.

I was cursing the fact that you had no flagmen to keep traffic going...until my lane started moving, 20 minutes after it came to a standstill. then I found out you DID have flagmen, flagmen who were simply standing in the middle of the road trying not to get hit by oncoming traffic. I use the term flagmen loosely, also, because most of these people were obese women who had no purpose being in the middle of any road, on foot or in vehicle. Bacon-wrapped Scallops
Ingredients: * 24 large sea scallops (about 2 lbs.) * 12 slices partially cooked bacon * Seasoned pepper Preparation: Cook bacon gently until partially cooked but not crisp and still very flexible. Rinse scallops with running cold water, pat dry with paper towels. Cut each bacon slice crosswise in half; wrap each half around a scallop, securing with a toothpick.
