A very late Daily Greeting today! Happy Thursday, everyone! Countdown to the weekend has begun, thank the Goddess! So far, it appears I have a very quiet weekend on tap. Better not say that too loud, lol! Taylor is blasting his music - don't really mind, except when I'm trying to concentrate! I do love DragonForce, though! Guess I'll let it slide, lol! Dakota has started baseball for the summer, even though soccer is not totally done yet! Got a little overlap here, it seems. Both Kota and Taylor will be going to summer school this year! Think she plans on being there awhile as she wants her Caseworker to deposit $100 to her jail account! Ouch! Well today I spent the dday recovering at work from my little celebration this weekend. Once again I proved to my friends that I could drink them under the table when it came to doing body shots. Obviously they can't handle tequila. Lucky for me dad started me young, so I have a tolerance. Needless to say by the time 3AM came I was sliding on a pole on the dance floor. Good times, except for my ass being grabbed throughout the night and having my chest felt up by some girl who wanted to know if they were real. obviously she didn't want to take my word for it. At least my friends got a laugh. Have a good one to all of you out there.

Police: She Stabbed Husband in Ear with Fork Kelly Campbell-Baumgartner married an 86-year-old man after his wife died -- and now she's accused of attacking him in the middle of a Max & Erma's restaurant with a fork. Campbell-Baumgartner has been charged with three counts, including assault with a dangerous weapon, for the incident at the Canton restaurant. Prosecutors say she attacked her husband, William Baumgartner, during an argument that started while the couple was eating. Just a short story to show how we never lose the love for our Mothers. A card company thought it would be a good idea to bring Mother's day cards to a prison for free and let the prisoners write what they want and pay for the postage. The response was so over welming that the card company had to go back several times to fill the massive amount of cards needed. With such a success on Mothers day the company decided to go back again for fathers day. Almost none of the inmates showed up asking for cards. I want to send out a happy Mothers day to all on cherrytap. Mother is the name for God on the lips and hearts of children.

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that. Today I was reflecting back on being a mother and what it means to me. As I closed my eyes in thought, I was reminded of the day I found out I was pregnant with my oldest son, Corey Little did I know, but this was the beginning of the most incredible journey that I have ever experienced. Being a mother. So, being a mother to me, is the most amazing gift that I could have ever been given. How these 4 kids could have come into my life and changed it in such a way that I can't even describe. They are the reason I breathe. I have never loved like this before. Happiness... I am walking through the store and my tummy is fluttering. There is a smile inside that wants to break free. But I do not want it too. Not yet. I think I've learned a lot in the last week about happiness. I wasn't too happy , in fact I would say it was one of the worst weeks I have had. But its what we learn from life's challenges that makes us better people. You know it doesn't really matter in the end if someone lied to you, or played games, or hurt you. You pick up the pieces and move on. I felt pretty foolish this week for trusting someone. I hurt pretty bad for letting them get beyond the walls. I should have seen the game. Happy Fathers Day. Some Thoughts....
Well, on this Fathers Day I find myself being a bit reflective. My Dad passed away 12 years ago of liver disease. He was quite sick, had a transplant, and died anyway. There were many, many things I did wrong in our relationship, but one thing I DID do right was that I made my peace with him before he died. He had been an awful man who was very selfish and treated me terribly, but as he got older he realized what he had done and reached out to me. It was my ex-husband who made me see that harboring ill feelings was just hurting ME in the long run (one of only a handful of good things that he did during our marriage LOL). So I had a good relationship with my father, and he turned out to be the only one in my whole life who never judged me. Probably because he didn't want to be judged himself...who knows. I titled this post more so I can recall when I made it. I sent my Dad an email already. I'd send a card but there are no cards here in Dushanbe. Plus the mail takes five weeks to get out! This place is definitely NOT what we enjoy about the USA. Yes it is a different country and a different culture. Sure makes me glad to like in The United States, that's for sure. Internet here sucks. The speeds are 9.6k and if lucky I hit 80k. Yuck. But it is not bad considering they did not even have Internet here a year ago. Yes I have been away from this site, it is definitely bandwidth intensive. It takes forever for pictures to download! But I am almost 20% done with my tour in Tajikistan. So far it is nothing to write home about, but it is an experience I will look back on. It is another way to serve my country. God bless.

I wonder how you can be so angry at him and not speak to him for days, weeks, months or years!... I lost my precious father when I was two years old, to an auto accident. He was avoiding a head on collision from a drunk driver and was trying to save his friend's life in the chaos of it all. He swerved to miss the oncoming car and slammed into a tree. They both survived...his friend walked away with a few scratches, but my father had many complications. After months of being hospitalized he passed away. I have much to be thankful for though! Happy Anniversary
Well yesterday was the anniversary of something that I would never wish upon my worst enemy. One year ago, my mommy was flown down to Lehigh Valley where we sat for hours to find out that she had suffered an anyuerism in her brain that had ruptured. The next day she had to undergo surgery to stop the bleeding and hopefully safe her life. It did. But we spent the next 7 weeks in the Nuero-Science ICU, for the first 3 weeks, she was in a medically induced coma, her brain kept spasming and everyday was a struggle for her life. But as the days and weeks past she grew stronger and after those 7 weeks, she was moved to a rehabilitation center for another 6 weeks. Finally after over 3 months, she was able to come home. She is now out of the wheelchair beginning to walk without any assistance at all, and getting by with day to day life on a mostly normal basis. She has proven to be such an amazing woman and I am so proud of her. Love you Momma!!!

Well, it's almost 3am on June 28th which is my birthday. I've tried to go to sleep several times but have been unable to do so. I didn't get my midnight phone call from Daddy singing completely out of tune to me. He would always call me on midnight of my birthday and sing, "Happy birthday to you, You belong in a zoo, you look like a monkey and you smell like one too!" Then he would always tell me the story of how he had to leave to take Mom to the hospital the night I was born and he missed his supper because of me. He sat and waited at that hospital for me to be delivered while his pork chops were sitting on the table at home....LOL **Sighs** Will it ever get any easier? Sad birthday to me, eh?

Hey Friends It is Saturday and what’s new in your area, is half of you have fire works tonight or do it on the original 4th of July. The coolest thing there is a mountain you can sit up and watch fire works go over two or three cities. It is a blast but fun to see with a friend. Due to part of the area I live in IT seems so dry to shoot fireworks. But I have a few friends on here that live in Wisconsin, might not where they live. Happenings In The Life Of Cola....
ok so i know i've said it over and over again and have yet to actually DO it.... but this time it's actually gonna happen. lol. i'm moving. after 4 years of hell in the plaza of medina county i am finally able to get out of there. i'm moving into barberton with my boyfriend greg. giving my ex the apartment so the kids have their rooms back and he can get out from under his grandparents. he needs it more than i do... and it will be a lot easier than trying to find a place for all of my damn furniture lol. anyways... we're probably gonna be getting this all underway on monday/tuesday.... if not then probably by the end of the week or so.. anyways.... i've been staying here with greg for the past couple of weeks... and i really like the town... there is so much that you can just walk to.... everything that i would need to get to is here within walking distance. i love it... it's peaceful. i'm happy here... and i'm happy with the way my life is taking me... which for once is finally going

Well its going to be a great 80's degree day today and I am actually in a better mood then yesterday. Yes going to work just killed my spirt yesterday. After being there for about 10 min my day just sucked. that was to bad because it started out so good. Well today I will not let work let me down again. I plan on going to Starbucks this morning and having a coffee and a sandwich to start my day today. I hope to start me on the right foot. After that I am just going to try not to let things get to me as much as I did yesterday. Also I want to go work on my Trike but my dad is leaving for the 4th for the rest of the week so there will be on more work done this week. Just catching up for a lil bit. Not been keeping my blogs up to date like I should. With such a hectic pace though what can you expect lol. Happy 4th of July everyone. Hope your having safe and fun as hell 4th. We have the day off so trying to enjoy it with the family. We have one of the girls with us this week and we plan on going to my grandfathers for a lil cookout and then gonna try and get back here to watch the fireworks show tonight. Kinda cool we can either see the one by the mall here or the one on base lol. Either way its gonna be a nice day. Work has been just nuts. With the heat and now they are making wear long sleeves to cover my tats. I swear there are times when I could just fall over. Within in minutes of getting out of the trucks I am soaked in sweat. Make the delivery and get back in the truck and we keep the AC jacked full blast. Then I freeze from the wet shirt and cold air lol. Swear I cant win. Think I will sue the company for blocking my freedom of expression

Happy Indepandance Day...yeah Right
Just wanted to wish all my CT friends a very Happy 4th. Mine on the other hand is not that great. I'm stuck in bed, I can barely walk and in severe pain. I was supposed to go to WV and have a cook-out with my mother and my family, but I couldn't handle the 2 hour trip. So today is going to be nothing more than another crappy day for me. I will use my wheelchair tonight to go onto the front porch and watch the fireworks that the let off accross the block from me. The trees block some but I can see the majority of them anyway. I want a watermelon, so hopefully I can talk my hubby into stopping and getting me one. At least I can have something that resembles a 4th of July day. LOL...Anyway, enough of my babbling. Im back from my holiday! It was fabulous! I got to watch the rockies beat the mets! The fire works after the game were awesome. It's nice to have quiet but if they stay gone to long, I'll go nutz. Yesterday...July 3,2007...my cousin gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. His name is Austin Lee. Have you ever got to a point in your life when everything just seems to fall into place, well i think i may finally be there, i have had a crappy 4 and a half years then the last six months it all just seemed to lift and become something completely different, maybe i was stuck in a rut, maybe i just decided to drag my ass into reality, i don't know but anyways i am one happy little bunny at the moment, just watch some crazy fool come and try to spoil it, ever the optimist huh...... Well you can try to climb mountains and keep falling down or just start small and work your way to the top of a little hill which is what i am doing right now and it seems to be working.

But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time to still be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. Happy but Torn Is it bad if I am torn between "bumfuck" and "nowhere" now? If he asked, I'd stay, but I cant... and I know he wouldnt ask... but I havent felt this happy in a long time ( besides how the 40 mountain dews made me feel last night ). I love him, he knows it, and he knows I'd do anything for him. I am just so torn.. before today, I've been packing and getting ready and busting my ass... and now, I'm sitting here in my room looking around, and I see his hat, and I can still smell him, still feel him holding on, and I want to cry.. I'll leave regardless, just like he did months ago, but now I have a reason to come home... if he's still here, if not I'm going to Cali. lol and now, besides looking forward to leaving, I'm looking forward to australia next summer with him...... so any donations?? lol god, i need to learn not to fall in love anymore.
