Does It Matter
I am so damn frustrated at the site... Well maybe not so much the site as everything else. Take into consideration I am writing this being high on pain meds and still in pain. 2008 Bathurst 1000
I posted this up on myspace originally but decided to post it here too.Leaving for Bathurst on the Friday is a struggle i so want to be there before Thursday missing 4 practice sessions kills me to no end. Embracing Your Sexuality
We are all sexual beings. However, somewhere along the way when we're growing up women are taught that if they embrace their sexuality they a slut, whore, etc. Men are taught that they're "the man" for embracing their sexuality. It's silly since our sexuality is a normal natural part of who we are. The world is pretty messed up in this respect. I for one have grown to embrace my sexuality. It's an integral part of who I am. I have to thank the friends I've made here who have helped me with this. It is so wonderful to be completely uninhibited and not have to worry if you're being judged for that. It also makes sexual experiences so much better since I'm able to concentrate fully on the moment and the pleasure my partner and I are giving one another without the worry of "what someone is thinking of me". I wish this for everyone, the ability to be completely uninhibited and fully enjoy your sexuality. It's wonderful to be able to share this with my friends here along the way.

Time
TiME Time grows old, as do we words once spoken so freely now no longer exist to me. Time spent crying out for you being left broken hearted, not knowing what to do. Choices
So many times I read about when men or women are arrested and convicted of abuse related crimes, whether it be child abuse, spousal abuse, rape, as well as serial killing. Most of the time their defense is "they were abused as a child." I for one think that is a cop out or just simply the only optional defense. The reason I tell my past is because whether you are man, woman or child YOU have control over the choices you make in life no matter what happened in your past. Talking about it helps more than you can imagine, that and martial arts and a punching bag! I was molested when I was 3, molested & raped when I was 6, both by neighbors. I married a so-called man when I was 18 and was physically, emotionally and psychologically abused for 10 years. I Hate Computers
Just so that everyone knows.... I operate off of two computer. A powerbook and a regular desktop pc. I love my powerbook with the exception that I am having some serious issues with it. Namely the battery. I get about 30 - 45 minutes off of a charge and thats it. DRIVES ME BONKERS. And too book, my power cable is shot as well. It takes aobut 10 minutes just to get it to work.... but I am getting the replaced today. I am sick to death of it. My desktop pc is an oldy but a goody... I try and rely on that sometimes but it likes to freeze up and decide to quit for a few minutes. I am working on getting that up to date as well. So if I am talking to you and I jsut disappear or say something that might not make any computer sense, thats what the issues are.

Life In General
I have always been a firm believer that many things we consider "bad" at the time occur because it is a way to force us to change what we are doing. Fate is a sneaky creature. I would have never left my job at the prison if all the shit that occurred wouldn't have went on. I had become comfortably numb....hell I used to joke about it. I just let crap happen, I bitched about it but then crawled back in my hole and went back to work even through I wasn't happy. I am so glad that thing got stirred up so that my hand was forced and I finally broke and resigned. I have been happier than I have been in a long time. Yesterday I found out that there will be a social studies job opening up in December at a local middle school because a woman has chose to retire. It just happens to be at the same school that my best friend already works and where another one of my best friends just applied for a job. I am just wondering....OK.....hoping and praying that this is just another wonderful turn

Ok, now being a recently unemployed history and government teacher I have no one to rally about the upcoming elections so I guess I will just have to vent out my thoughts here. I am not here to give out my points of view all the time. I never did that in my classroom. The only times my students found out my party affiliation was when they asked me point blank and honestly I was never afraid to tell them. I also was not afraid to tell them why I originally chose that party. I always stressed to my students I didn't care what party they went out and voted for eventually in their lives all that mattered to me is that they went out and voted. I am a firm believer that you cannot complain about what the government is doing to you unless you get you ass out there and make your voice heard. My mom has never voted a day in her life. Well its been a couple days, I got a call about my grandmother last week before the weekend hit, and she passed away unfortuantely on Sat. Talk about fucked up. Sucks even worse cause shes not going to be burried til sometime in the Spring time so go figured right. Out of all the family she has barely anybody went to visit her, never failed whenever I was working shed come down and see me too. Talk about harrassing someone while at work, my grandmother was good at it. But I didnt mind. The days I didnt have to be to work til later id skip up and out, and I would go see her at home. Not many people did that. But I guess this is something to say, I will always miss her. Now I just kinda hope I get a picture of her. Thats the only and last thing I want. For several months now I have taken classes on how to b a good mentor, because I had been asigned a 10 year old girl to be mentor for. Yesterday I met the girl and her family for the first time, and one hour ago her mom called, an said that they didn't want to be a part of th mentor-program after all, and gave lots of silly reasons for it... How To Directionally Control A Burnout
Okay, let's define what we're talking about here. Burnouts done on a motorcycle, no feet on the ground. I'm assuming you can already do a burnout, so we'll skip the basics of getting the front tire to stick to the road whilst the rear tire spins madly. First things first-- spinning the rear tire is what gives the back of the bike some lateral freedom. Just a quick update. The surgery went well yesterday. Mom says she is in alot of pain but intends on being out of bed tomorrow. My Lawnmower Death
It was a warm fall day and perfect for the last lawn mowing of the season. I was visiting my mother and she asked if I could mow her yard, which happened to be three acres, for her. Devil Rays 3, Red Sox 1 For the life of me I can't understand why Tito had Cora in for Lowrie tonight. It made the last third of our batting order a dead zone. We had to lock up the rear tire which caused us to slide sideways. Thank god we were able to get out of it without going down. Mitch will be sorely missed by many many people. I love when certin employee's take half a day or stroll in after 9 and crap and nothing is said to them. I was sick this am and the big joke was I'm pregnant, but it was said to my boss who had no idea. Around 10 this morning I was so sick I couldnt sit at my desk so I emailed her and asked if I could leave early, but that I would leave after my back up takes lunch, I was being considerate. I get an email back saying I would be written up if I left cause it's an unschedules sick day for pregnancy! WTF? My 1st problem with that is that it don't matter why im sick I have the time I should be allowed to leave if I'm spending more time pukin into the toilet then sitting at my desk. The 2nd problem is that everyone lease early without anything being said to them and come in when they please. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. Don't you wonder what life could have been if you did thing right the first time around? Some day I wish I could go back and change everything in my life except my baby boy. If I could go back in time adn take back the time I overdoesed I would. If I could take back me messin up and doing drugs I would. Its amazing the power of the internet and the hold it has on peoples lives. I recently left fubar due to the stress and the fact that there is life outside this little boxed screen. I came back, but in my own capacity. I don't find it in me to post a salute and I haven't found myself wanting to do the whole point system again. I came back to support a DJ friend of mine. Today I have just seen the horror of Stallion Fights that are held in the Phillippins for entertainment! The pictures in the paper are so shocking I felt like crying, horses are gentle creatures, when there are two males after a female they may fight over her but the stronger one will win and the weaker one will go away. They never fight to the death! Although the 3 day fight festival a year was banned 10 years ago it seems it still goes on. So, I had court yesterday, from what i did in June, and it went well. My Opinion...
Just a few things I feel like I need to say here.... Anyone who knows me from when I joined almost 2 years ago knows that if there was drama I was right there in the middle of it. I associated with all the wrong kinds of people and got myself into more CherryTap fights than I even care to remember. Made a lot of enemies and just really couldn't have cared less. But things change with time. And when I started this new account I made a promise to myself that I would not be that kind of person. "Identity" by Nick Bentley I find it wonderfully ironic that the majority of my life has been spent fighting just to be me. I believe I've come up with decent percentages that divide the contents of a person's identity: 33% - Mother, Father 33% - Pursuit of Interests 33% - Failures, Mistakes, Turn of Events The remaining 1% is always Subject to Change. I also love the concept of taking time off to "find oneself." To my knowledge, the Self-Exploration Excavation usually involves vacating to a destination to experience something "new and exciting." I can see how new experiences can change a person, but I'm not sure how that change would help a person "find themselves." Maybe it would fit inthe percentage of "Failures, Mistakes, and Turn of Events." Maybe experiencing something new and exciting unlocks an attribute in a person's psyche that feeds their personality.
