It was really good I was shocked... got to spend some time with my aunt and hubby'step mom in the moring and at 3pm got the kids off the bus and took a nap (still sick). I Have My Daughter!
My youngest daughter came back home to live with me yesterday due to my exes stupidity. He lost the kids to Protective Services once because of his wife, had the wife out of the house and got the kids back. He brings the stupid cunt back into his house and loses the kids to Protective Services again. This time I'm in a big enough house to have custody of my daughter. Why Me???
My daughter went to put some frozen orange juice into the freezer for me yesterday afternoon.....I never checked it after and this morning I went to get waffles for the girls for breakfast and realized that the freezer door was not closed.....Everything was completely thawed out. Deploying
Well Im leaving Ft Bragg in an hr to fly out. Thought I was leaving last night but that didnt happen cause I was still in processing pretty late. Today I was issued my gear and still have no clue what unit I will be with or what I will be doing. Im off of here till I dont know when so later all. Jon Well I got here in Iraq ok. At this moment Im in limbo waiting for the rest of my squad to show up from different places from the US and Germany. I know what I'll be doing and actually know some of the guys I'll be working with. Some are Navy Seals and others are from other Special Ops Units from within the Army. My time on here is limited as when I leave here I wont have any access to the internet for weeks at a time till we are flown back to the rear once every 2-3 weeks. Thank goodness there's a name for this disorder. Somehow I feel better,even though I have it!! Recently, I was diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D. - Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder. This is how it manifests: I decide to water my garden. As I turn on the hose in the driveway, I look over at my car and decide it needs washing. As I start toward the garage, I notice mail on the porch table that I brought up from the mail box earlier. I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car. My Son
I was just told this morning that the Leukemia that was in his bone marrow is in remission. But the rest of his body is still fighting off the Leukemia so we are hoping in the next week or so the rest of his body will be in readmission and he can go home. He will still have to do Kidney Dialysis and his Kemo as a outpatient at a near by Hospital. My son is doing pretty well all things considering. He has been having Kidney Dialysis the last 2 days. His Potassium level is really high and his kidneys still arent working. His Kemo treatments are going well no real side effects from them YET!!! The Kemo is finally starting to take affect, Mason is sick today and very cranky. He had a bone marrow sample taken this morning and a Spinal kemo as well. I can tell he takes after his dad, he called a nurse a bitch and a male nurse an asshole. The Doc said that means he is getting better. Umm if she says so!!!

Girls' Night Out

I have been married now for 25 years and have 2 wonderful children, (1)16yr/ (1)13yr... the "spark or fire" if you will has left the marriage and I find myself trying to re-light it, but get no response or gallons of water dumped on me. Love. It's a simple but yet so powerful word. But I see people and hear people throwing the term "I love you" around to the point that I feel like it's lost most of it's meaning. My Friends And Family
Just to update everyone, my friends niece is still in the hospital, she had some skin grafts surgeries done, but she has now gotten MRSA staff infection....please continue to pray for her. She is such a sweet little girl and should not be going through this at such a young age.... My friend called me today because her 11 year old niece is in pediatric intensive care with third degree burns on 17% of her body (hands, legs and backside). She got hot grease knocked over onto her while in the care of her father....I am asking for prayers for her please if you are able to!!!!!

I Was In The Hospital For Three Weeks
i just got home from a long stay in three diferent hospitals . i started to get very sick and ended up have two opps. on my lungs just to save my life . my right lung had two holes ,one at the top the size of a dollar and one at the bottom the size of my fist . had a colapsed luge with a chest tube over 12 inches long to help me breath and was in danger of my hart colapsing as well. i am in lots of pain and not sleeping well,but i do feel the docs. did a great job putting me back together . i have been given a new chance to live and will make the best of every day i have left. may Buddha bless and keep me in his heart. i truly found out how strong i am ,it is mind blowing what you can handle when you at deaths door.

Love And Relationships
Over the years, I've become pretty good at introspection, honestly examining myself and critiquing my actions and my life. Lately I've been thinking a lot about my relationships and love. What I've found isn't very nice or encouraging. Looking back over the years what I've discovered is that I have the ability to evoke many good emotions from the women in my life, friendship, pleasure, desire, lust. But the one emotion I don't bring out is love. Oh sure, I've been told "I love you" but what I've discovered is that with one notable exception, I'm in their lives for other reasons. I fill some need in their lives other than love, a shoulder to cry on, a sympathetic ear, some one to vent to, an escape, whatever. I know this sounds like so much self pity, but really, it's not. I just have to view my relationships in a different context. I have stop expecting love and just accept things as they are, to fill my life with friends and expect nothing more.

Help Needed
Ashley's back in the hospital one of her incisions got infected, she has a staff infection. For those of you who didn't know, my daughter Ashley has lupus. She had surgery on July 30th to remove her gallbladder because of infection & large gallstones, a liver biopsy was also done. Complications kept her hospitalized a week longer then expected. She was doing better after being released but 1 of the 5 incisions wasn't healing. The incision in her bellybutton was red & warm she also had a slight fever. She's back at Children's Hospital with a staff infection, she was taken out of I.C.U today. Thank-you for keeping her in your thoughts & prayers. Saturday afternooon i was walking home from work about 6pm on west genesee st, i saw this house with smoke pouring from the window out of the first floor apartment.
