We arrived at our hotel room last night just before 11PM and grabbed a quick bite at the food court. I was Terminated From my job as a shift manager for a local Pizza Chain. I filed for unemployment with the Virginia Employment Commision and Was denied for "THE CLAIMANT WAS DISCHAGRGED FOR DELIBERATELY VIOLATING A KNOWN COMPANY RULE!" BELOW IS MY REASON FOR APPEAL PLEASE READ AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE SITUATION! ty! I was scheduled to open as shift manager on the day in question. (10am-5pm) I made a previous arrangement to drive as a closing driver that night (11pm-3am) however the night befor the morning driver for said day had car issues so I was FORCED to drive for the morning shift, which was not required in my job position, to be a driver. Company policy says if a staff change is needed and no substitute can be located the GM is to replace them untill one is located.. Hi there. It's been a while since I've been active on here. Makes me kind of sad. But I now live on the West Side of Hamilton with my boyfriend/baby daddy. Soon we'll have our own apartment/house! Open Road Biker
I got back into Afghanistan a few days ago. Man leave sure was short. It seems that my 18 days sure flew by. The good thing is I am about halfway through with this deployment and I will get back to family, friends, and riding. I managed to ride about 2000 miles while I was home this time. My Mom.
OK So everyone who cares about me or is really a friend knows about my mom and knows that I was getting tested to donate a kidney. Well the sad part about all this is that I learned a hard lesson... What I have to say is the truth no bull crap. I recently have separated from my husband that I have been with for 12 years. OK all, here goes. In my OPPINION, I think people that are child abusers SHOULD be JAILED !!! Reason being, my youngest was recently a victom. It happened on a regular visit to her dads, (you know, the biweeklys). He was to bring her to me and then it happened. I got a call from her stepmom, and had to go get her. When I got there her dad was standing by the cop car, and I didn't see my daughter. I was told she was in the building getting her pants changed. American Dream...... Re-visited
Growing up i was always told stories of getting older working hard going to school/military coming out and making somehing good of your life. You know the old 2 or 3 kids, nice house with a big yard, married, and multiple vehicles. Yea American dream...but now all that is, is just that...a dream (destiny for another day maybe?). Heartbroken
I think I'm finally realizing what has me so bothered about moving back to my home town. Since my marriage ended, I have been very careful about who I let around me. My standards of who I date, who I'm friends with, even who I know casually are very high. I always felt stifled and trapped around my parents. And now that they are bankrolling this move, I will be under their thumb even more. I know that every decision I make will be under harsh scrutiny. I feel like going back there I will be sacrificing who I am. At least I'll be on the river again. I'll just need to make friends who have boats and can kidnap me! Well, I hate to be a quitter, but I think I have to give up on Texas, at least for a while. Nothing has changed since my ex left, and that's a very bad thing. I just recently found out that someone who really meant something to me, who really helped me in a very tough time, is now married. this really fucked my head up & broke my heart.
