Second month coming to an end and I still don't like getting up at 4:30am. I am happy I have a job. It for things like this. Take care everyone. One of my big reasons for going to cons are the costumes. Friends and guests are two other reasons I go. I was assured that this coming year would be bigger. Today I had to go to court and fight for custody of my son. For those of you who have never had to do this sort of thing, you are lucky, for here is how it basically goes. Frustrations
Wow I never knew how easy I could get frustrated on dial up after living between dsl and cable the last 3 months. The past few days I have been suppose to be packing, well tonight I finally got the smaller of the two suitcases done, and omg is it full. I have SO much to go into the big suitcase that it is crazy! But I have to look at it this way, I absolutely need to have everything done by tomorrow afternoon cuz when my mom gets off work she is taking me back to my sisters for tuesday and wednesday night. Thursday morning I have to be at the airport at 615 am, from Spokane I fly to Phoneix, there I have under an hour till I leave for Philidelphia in Philly I have under an hour as well and then from Philly I leave at 8:20EST to fly to Frankfurt. That is the longest flight of course which will be a total of 8 hours. As I said earlier I have to be at the airport at 615am on the 30th, I land at 1:20am PST on the 31st. Lossing Weight
Well its been awhile since ive been on here. So let me send a little update. So as most of you know, our female cat had babies a few months back. Well I call the animal shelter today, to see about taking them there, now in Indiana, we have a whooping 2 no kill shelters. Both are way to far away to take them there..back to the point. I call the Johnson County animal shelter, get info needed so I can bring the kittens in, and one of the only things the prick says to me when I call is "you do realize the chance of them getting adopted are slim right?" I mean FFS I realize that shelters are inhumane (in my eyes) and have no problem with throwing their animals in an oven after 2 weeks of not getting adopted, but really, is that something that needs to be said? So regardless, me and Kirsten stay in the car while Jason takes the kitties in, then I make Jason feel bad because I of course am crying...yes wikid cried :P bah But yes that was my day, I don't have to clean up after 8 cats now...but I still feel horrible for doing it. Well I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone here on Fubar I will be leaving for training In Mississippi for 2 months then its off to Iraq for another 9 months. I just want to thank all of my friends on here for there support and prayers for me. Well everyone I have finally made it home from a long deployment in Iraq, I have been home for about a month now and trying to readjust to being back in the states. I would like to thank everyone for their support while I was over there. I am now back to work with the Navy its been a weird few weeks getting back into the routin of the Navy but I am getting there. So I recently (this week) started a new job and I closed tonight (at midnight) when about 10 minutes before I'm ready to close I get a phone call from I assume my boss (sounded like him and he said it was) asking me to wait about 10-15 for him to come by because he had to pick one of his tools up. So like any good employee I did. Then about 10 minutes later I get a call from someone who wasn't my boss (I think it was his cousin [who happens to be someone I've been told not to trust on numerous occasions]) asking me to put a box of tools on the roof (see where I'm going with this). After I did that the handyman comes in asking for my boss. He waits around with me until almost 12:40 (a full forty minutes after I am supposed to have gone) Finally I relay the two phone conversations to him and we come to the conclusion that I was duped by the cousin. Last night my kindergarten daughter, just finished her last book in first grade hooked on phonics. The first two days of school went well for the kids. I sorta roamed around in shock, and slept alot. Funny how even a good schedule change can really mess you up. By Jo 10/26/06 my first poem As she lay asleep in the rainbow’s mist, a fair lady she is dreaming. She dreams of dragon and fairies play while nymph’s frolic through the forest trees. She longs for her wonderful and brave mystic man that will come to take her cares away. He graciously shows in all his daring and wraps her in his arms so caring. As their bodies entwine within each others grasp, her bare breast against is strong chest, their hearts beat rapidly in time. With only but a glimpse of the moment they have to share the wonderful dance. She feels as if she’s a captured bird awaiting to see what her fate will bring. Me
Today would have been my little brothers 49th birthday. At the age of 21 he chose to drink and get behind the wheel of his truck... He never made it home. He not only died as a result of his decision but the two people who were in the vehicle he had a head on crash with were in critical condition for several weeks. Thankfully they eventually recovered. Please folks, don't get me wrong. I'm not a prude and I have nothing against drinking and having a good time. (this is evidenced in my pics lol).
