I never understood the need for popularity... to have friends is one thing... to have admirers is works for others... Me, I just want the people who say they are my friends to be there as friends. My So Called Life
Hi, sorry I haven't been around much lately, been kinda busy. Still job hunting for something full time, keeping house, going to the gym, and doing artwork (two of my favorite was to fight off a huge case of the "Blah's") as you can guess I'm pretty much beat by day's end. I just got back from the vet's office with Abby. She weighs 7.7 lbs now. Two weeks ago, she weighed in at 5.6 lbs. She is really growing fast and has a healthy appetite. I just came across something that really pisses me off. Why is it that some, not all, people who join the military do it just because it is something to do, or for the money, or their friends are doing that also, or just to get a college education?! My father served during WWII and instilled in me patriotism. He was proud to serve his country and he did it because he wanted to. Ok it's never been a secret or hidden that I like black men. I have wanted to date one but because my family is so againist it and racist I didn't. This is a good one for a Sunday. 8 Roma tomatoes 1 large white onion 2 green peppers 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil 2 tbsp crushed garlic 1 tbsp Italian seasoning 1 lb linguini Dice the tomatoes, onion, and peppers, then saute' in extra virgin olive oil along with the garlic and Italian seasoning. New Update On Steven
I was over seeing Steven today, he is doing amazingly good. He is finished his chemo treatment for now but due to go back in 3 months time to the hospital for a check up to see if the cancer is still dormant. As you can see from the photo his hair is starting to grow back as well and he is putting on weight again. The district nurse still comes in everyday to give him an injection to help to control his potassium levels.
