It amazes me how people will turn the other cheek with no compassion for human emotion knowing what this person does to other humans with no remorse of his actions! They have all seen the links to prove all of his boasts are illegitimate claims to fame, they have all caught him boasting tall tales in the lounge at one time or another, they have all seen the victims he leaves in his wake, they have all seen the false accusations he makes against his victims in retaliation to their claims, but yet they still turn the other cheek and circle the wagons for him and keep his lil' playground fantasy going so he can leave more victims in his wake! I just read a short story called "A Monarch of a Small Survey" by Gertrude Atherton. It isn't something I would normally read but I had to copy a section here, which does a good job of capturing the frustration of just existing as opposed to living: "Nothing—nothing in life can be as bad as life empty, wasted, emotionless, stagnant! Just letting those few know who care.. that things went ok with the funeral. I cried a little bit..but managed to get through it pretty good. I feel so bad for my cousin..Hes taking it pretty rough. Hes only 27. I know his sister is little upset..but not by much I do not believe. Maybe thats just me thinking though. I know if it was my parents I would have been crying more than she was. Heck I think I cried more than she did today. She was never a part of his life anyways though. I am still hung up on death thoughts though. I look at my parents more closer. I did this starting after my granny passed 2 yrs ago. Now I am doing it more. I am seeing how they are aging. I know we all do. My dads hip is doing pretty good although he still has that limp. Follow Up National Wreath Project 2009
On behalf of John and Susan McColley and the SGTMAC Foundation, I would like to thank everyone who volunteered or donated to the SGTMAC Foundation for this year's Wreath Project. With your assistance, we were able to place 800 wreaths on gravesites at Gettysburg National Cemetery and 2,200 wreaths at Quantico National Cemetery where Sergeant Eric McColley of Gettysburg is interred. I would also like to thank Giant Food Stores, ABF Freight Systems, Gettysburg Agway and Jacoby Transportation who all provided substantial logistical and/or financial assistance. On Friday December 4th approximately 75 people showed up at the Giant Store in Gettysburg at 0800 to put stickers on the bows and tie the bows to the wreaths. At 1300 we reassembled at the Gettysburg National Cemetery and placed the wreaths of the gravesites - starting on the section closest to Baltimore Pike. We placed them until we ran out. As I sit here writing this my stomach growls at me. I try to hush it with some water. This lack of food is not due to there not being food in the house, there is always something I can find. But more of a personal demon trying to survive. The demon that tells me feeling hungry all the time is normal and eventually it can just go away. That I can survive on just water and energy pills. I know the demon is lying to me but it is hard to ignore the demon. I have known it for so long and can easily find comfort in its cruel arms. It is like the love for an abusive lover. One will keep going back just because it is safer to know that one will not be alone instead of being safe. The demon has been there for me when a guy hasn't, and has made me happy when I see the scale drop from the day or week before. I think I made a vast improvement on the food via rumour where I used to work...been sacked since. when i started working where i was the food mostly sucked. now one of the worst cooks actually gets kinda ballsy and does a pretty good job and the braver i get, the better the food gets...the salmon rocks, and if nothing on the special menu of the day looks palletable, i go for a simple grilled cheese on sourdough w/ tomato. CREAMY HAM & CAULIFLOWER CASSEROLE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 med. head cauliflower 2 c. cooked, cubed ham 1 can mushrooms, drained 1/3 c. flour 4 tbsp. butter 1 c. milk 1 c. cubed sharp Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. sour cream 1 c. bread crumbs 1 tbsp. butter Break cauliflower into buds. Cook covered until tender. Drain. Combine ham and mushrooms. In medium saucepan melt 4 tablespoons butter. Stir in flour. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles. I was recently cleaning out a box and found an old song book that I had removed from an abandoned house when I was about 14 and really never payed much attention to it. I found it in a box and opened it up to find some very interesting lyrics to older songs some of which I knew others which I never had heard of. So I am not all that good looking of a guy, but I do make up for it elsewhere. I met some one and got close. She had all the means to make it work out, but never did. Don't get me wrong, but if you have the money and am in love with some one from long distance away and tell them they love you and want you and love your kids and even send photos and claims and has friends say they have photos of you and them in their vehicle and home, and yet they never make the attempt to meet you or even visit. But yet they still try to say they love you and when I mention it would be nice to meet she says I am being pushy or when I text om the weekends when she is at home, she claims she can't text or call back because she is with her family. Im such a child sometimes, its really frustrating to step back and look at myself. I always seem to take a step back and look at my views on life and love after reading a particular anime series that I read. Some may say that I'm foolish for being in this situation. Perhaps I am. But the funny thing I've learned is that when you truly love someone and want to be with them, you tend to do some things that seem foolish to others. Even to yourself at times. Some things don't make sense to others, and perhaps don't make much sense in general, but in some small way, you know they do. It is really hard to accept someone back into your life after they have done so many deceitful things and told so many unspeakable lies, but you do it because they are family and you love them and you truly believe they have really changed this time. The next day Oy'sa woke early befor the sun and her family and apon remembering she had not gotten to bath the night befor thought she would run down to the red river befor any one was about and bath.She knew her father would be unhappy that she was up and about with no one there to watch over her but she didn't wish to disterb the others for some thing as mondane as a bath. There was once a dog that used to run up quietly behind people and bite their heels. Fed up of the numerous complaints, the owner tied a bell around the dog’s neck so that the sound of the bell would alert people whenever the animal came near them. The dog felt the bell was a reward of some sort and became extremely conceited, turning up his nose whenever he met other dogs on the street.
