Love And Relationships
Over the years, I've become pretty good at introspection, honestly examining myself and critiquing my actions and my life. Lately I've been thinking a lot about my relationships and love. What I've found isn't very nice or encouraging. Looking back over the years what I've discovered is that I have the ability to evoke many good emotions from the women in my life, friendship, pleasure, desire, lust. But the one emotion I don't bring out is love. Oh sure, I've been told "I love you" but what I've discovered is that with one notable exception, I'm in their lives for other reasons. I fill some need in their lives other than love, a shoulder to cry on, a sympathetic ear, some one to vent to, an escape, whatever. I know this sounds like so much self pity, but really, it's not. I just have to view my relationships in a different context. I have stop expecting love and just accept things as they are, to fill my life with friends and expect nothing more.

do you ever regret something you did in your past? Do you every miss that certain someone? That someone who you thought would never change your life but a couple years down the line you wonder what if? You never thought of that person til now. Help Needed
Ashley's back in the hospital one of her incisions got infected, she has a staff infection. For those of you who didn't know, my daughter Ashley has lupus. She had surgery on July 30th to remove her gallbladder because of infection & large gallstones, a liver biopsy was also done. Complications kept her hospitalized a week longer then expected. She was doing better after being released but 1 of the 5 incisions wasn't healing. The incision in her bellybutton was red & warm she also had a slight fever. She's back at Children's Hospital with a staff infection, she was taken out of I.C.U today. Thank-you for keeping her in your thoughts & prayers. Saturday afternooon i was walking home from work about 6pm on west genesee st, i saw this house with smoke pouring from the window out of the first floor apartment. There was a fan blowing smoke out so i thought everything was ok, i thought to myself keep walking everything should be fine. Something told me to turn around and check. Not Alone Or Am I?
I am beginning to think I am drifting along with no real purpose in life. There was a time in my life when things were awesome, during the past two years things have gone drastically downhill. No one understands me, the way I do things or the reason I do them. One major event has seemed to have lead the way for many other disasters. It seems like an age old excuse to blame ones bad luck and choices on the loss of a love one, she wasn't just a loved one, she was my best friend and would listen to everything and not judge me. Hey everyone, For those who are friends with or knows about one of my family members, Krazy, I am asking for continued prayers, blessings, or any sort of positive support. He was injured while serving our country in Afghanistan this last Friday. This is the 2nd time he has been severely injured in the past 18 months or so. He has "earned" more purple hearts than I own guns, seriously. He is back in the US in stable condition, but the injuries he sustained have us all very concerned. He has a beautiful family who need him dearly. Although he will not be able to have many visitors, let alone even see his profile for quite some time, I would like everyone who can to leave some words of encouragement on his profile. Weed-legalize It Or Not???
There are so many pros & cons to this subject. I myself think it should be made legal. It is no worse then alcohol or prescription drugs. Ive been to amsterdam and it was awesome, The people were great, crime was like non existant and there percentage of drug addicts to ours wasnt even close. When you make a substance illegal it just adds to the excitement of getting it and using it, So I know the medical info also and weed does help many. I say legalize it and see how things go. They can always reverse it.

My Friend
I am extremely worried about my friend, she showed interest in a guy, became good friends, and he seems to have turned into this stalker strange man! Well, I just know I'm going to piss a lot of people off with this but that's ok. There are people that don't like me in real life either. I just saw a special on Attention Deficit Disorder, commonly known as ADD. It talked all about neurons, synapses, serotonin, bio-chemistry, etc. I believe all that, not discounting any of it. But I have another theory. We, as Americans in the 21st century, have been conditioned into nice neat little blocks of 30min, 1hour, and 2 hour increments of time. It's a known fact that Hollywood doesn't like to produce movies longer than 2 hours. The audience loses focus and loses track and THAT, is just not profitable. Television would rather run a mini-series than run the program all the way through, and save the bids for commercials after the response of the first epidsode. All about money. We tend to shy away from programs of substance and would rather see car chases and explosions, and murders. Anything to peak our interest. Kids rarely read today. DVDs,

Time
So today in our household was a big day! My one and only child got up this morning before the crack of dawn 5:00am and then woke her mother up at 5:30am. If you haven't guessed by now it was the first day of school and we are hitting one of those milestones. She started high school this morning. Let me tell you this morning didn't sail very smoothly either. She lost her schedule and it took an hour to find so she was hurried and only took 4 bites of her breakfast. We found the schedule as her ride honked and I got a quick kiss and off she went. I went to get her after school and she seemed a different kid. Reality for her set in that it was just another school and she liked some of her classes and then she hates others. Normal I know. Made me think of the days when I walked her to kindergarten and she seemed so big then and now it is even more so.

Ahhhh, I have been thinking about taking a vacation lately ... I'm not sure when I will be able to do this, but I would love to go somewhere. I've been looking at all-inclusive resorts, and I think that I want to go to Mexico. Oh My God!
The other night My 3yr old Daugther was running a very high tempature, so I gave her some Tylenol.It did not help and it got worse, so I was rushing her to the Hospital. Half way to the Hospital, her eyes started rolling in the back of her head, and she started going into convoltions. I was really scared seeing my babygirl like that, I grabbed her up and took her into the hospital. They took her from me and I flipped out that they wouldn't let me go back with her. Chocolate
I was part of a "swap" this month, where I was given the name and some info about a person in an online community I am part of; then I put together a package for them and mailed it off... Then someone else was given the same info about me. Well I just received my package today, and in this package was some wonderful yarn (that I will use to make myself a shawl) and two different kinds of CHOCOLATE by Max Brenner. I have only tried the one chocolate so far, and while I am not a huge fan of dark chocolate (which this is) it is absolutely DIVINE! wow, so yummy! The other chocolate is in a tin, and just opening the tin allows the aroma of the chocolate that it contains waft out, mmmmmmmmmm.... I can't wait to get started on the shawl and the other chocolates!!!

On August 20,2008 a very dear friend of mine was killed in a work accident while working at AMTRAK. Steve or better known to us as "Spkie" was only 22. He was hit by a train while working on the track and dies 2 hours later at the hospital. I can not believe he is gone. Through his viewings and his funeral, I was thinking to myself, "Is this actually happening?" Spike was the best guy you could ever meet. He fit in with everyone and made all those who knew him feel like a million bucks. He was wise and loving, and would do anything for anyone. You couldn't find a better person or friend. I am a better person just for knowing him. He was truley an angel and always will be. I know alot of people loved him and miss him as I do. Rest in Peace Love. I will see you again one day.

I'm A Lucky B*tch
I was having trouble with my car today. the thingy (technical term if you didn't know) that triggers the break lights when you hit the brakes was stuck in the on position. This drained my battery. I was 2 hours late to work and I had no idea when I was going to get it fixed. I ran into one of the the maintenance guys and asked them if he could just disconnect the battery so it would die again. I gave him my key and went to help the poor girl left at the desk alone all morning. 5 hours later, one of the guys ( didn't even know his name, it's Jaun) came in gave me keys and said Your car is fixed. He wouldn't take money and barely even let me say thank you before he ran out of the lobby. All I can say is... Awesome!

I work in retail. At an Ace Hardware in Denver to be exact. I'm head of the electrical department. I have over 15 years experience in this field. Don't say it's sad, it's something I enjoy doing. I really enjoy helping customers solve their problems. The bad thing is some customers are too far beyond help for it to even matter. I decided to write down a few rules for the customer to abide by while trying to achieve the desired level of help required for their situation, if not too far beyond that level. Now keep in mind, I excel in customer service and at times I will go out of my way to help any customer. But I also am very sarcastic(to the customers) and I do notice little things most don't see. Married & Lonely
I've been married for about eleven years, and within this last year, and especially within the past two weeks, she has completely withdrawn from me, and is almost treating me with hate. Death In Family
My moms second cousin, my third passed away a week ago, he was about 60. We believe that he overdosed on eye medicine and then he went in that same day for eye surgery, he went into a coma and was pronounced brain dead and his organs were shutting down. His wife pulled the plug on him a week ago, and funeral is saturday at 11am in Kansas City. :(
