Recipe Summary Difficulty: Easy Prep Time: 15 minutes Inactive Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Yield: 4 to 6 servings Italian Stuffed Jalapenos 15 jalapenos, preferably red, cut in 1/2, seeded and deveined 1 tablespoon canola oil 1/4 cup minced red onion 1/4 cup minced red bell pepper 3 tablespoons minced garlic 2 pounds mild Italian sausage, casings removed 2 cups mascarpone or cream cheese 1/4 cup grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish Salt and pepper 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Minced chives Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Place jalapenos on a sheet tray and roast for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool. Heat the oil in a medium saute pan. Add onions, peppers, garlic and sausage and cook for about 2 minutes. I had really not planned to take a trip this year, yet I found myself packing anyway...and off I went. Dreading it, I was on another guilt trip. I booked my reservations on "I WISH I HAD" Airlines. Alunium Foil
Never noticed it and of course had to check it out right away AND it does work if you press in each end. I checked my roll as soon as I got this and I'll be darned it was right on the end of the box. Pays to read. I DID NOT KNOW THIS!! I hope I'm not the only one. I've been using aluminum foil for more years than I care to remember. Great stuff, but sometimes it can be a pain. You know, like when you are in the middle of doing something and you try to pull some foil out and the roll comes out of the box. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time. Well, I would like to share this with you. Yesterday I went to throw out an empty Reynolds foil box and for some reason I turned it and looked at the end of the box. And written on the end it said, "Press here to lock end". My Family
I'm gonna do a little bragging about my 18 year old daughter, Miranda. If you ever watch Craig Ferguson and the Late Late Show on CBS, since May 8 Miranda has been featured on the show. She has been able to do a very realistic horse neigh since the 2nd grade, made a little money a couple of years ago doing all of the realistic horse sounds for DIC Entertainment's Horseland on Saturday mornings CBS. Well since Miranda and I have been going to tapings of his show, I've been thinking Craig might want to use her neigh for his soundbox, since he loves animal sounds, etc. I finally got the opportunity to tell Craig about it when we were audience members on May 8. Craig LOVED it. She was very cute and poised, because Miranda is also a ham and loves the stage. She got paid for the video clips which showed that night and the following night, and thanks to her brother are now on youtube (see below). It takes a little work, and a lot of luck. First of all, you may request that I screen capture something, but if it has the scroll across the top, I make no promises. The ones I do unsolicited (for those of you in Rio Linda that means, you didn't ask for them) I first must see you scrolling across the top. When I click on it, more times than not, when your page opens, you are still scrolling on top. I use an old photo editing software, LView Pro 1.D2/32-bit for Microsoft Windows 95, Windows NT 3.5 or Newer, Windows 3.1 with Win32's 1.30 or newer. Sure there are newer ones that are probably better, but for what I do, it's simple and does the job. With this program, under the "Edit" pulldown menu, there is an option called "Capture" where I can sample the entire desktop, or whatever window is on top. When I click it, there is a few second delay, so I put my mouse over the scrolling pic across the top to make it open. It captures the window of your main page with you scro

I'm generally not much up for talking about my feelings on most things. But I guess it's just a me thing. But here lately, I seem to want to express some things that bother me. The other day, I was reading a post by someone and the comments made about them. Several people, for no apparent reason, decided to make some really derogative comments about the post and the way the individual looked, or were attired, on their page in their pictures. I guess they wanted to try to offend the lady that had posted the MUMM. My question response to this is very simple. Answer the question or comment on the statement made. Fubar's Not For Me....
I came here looking for something to fill my lonely time... I have definitely found something, but it hasn't filled the void. Brother In Law Passed Away Leaving 4 Kids
to all my friends on fubar.my 39 yr old brother in law passed away on 5-20-2008. he was a father of 4 children and 4 grandchildren. He is now reunited his wife and his mother in a beautiful place watching over us all. Summer School
Well school starts again tomorrow, I only have 2 classes this semester, but they are 16 week classes crammed into 8 weeks. Still need to sort some stuff out. Either I was given the wrong information, or I miss hear it. One of the classes I am taking this semester, might be for someone that is farther along than I am. I guess I will find out soon enough. Also I thought I could take certificate courses for both Funeral Director and Embalmer. But it looks like to take the embalmers class, I need to get my AA degree. No biggy there, just 2 additional electives I hadn't planned on. But the class schedule for those taking the AA degree course is differnt than what I am doing, well at least the classes are in a different order. I don't think that will be an issue. Nor do I know how it will effect my certifcate classes. I need to find out. Today i got a phone call from my half brothers mom. She called to tell me that my brother was found in his hotel room this morning. He had apperently commited suicide with only a note taped to the mirror saying "This is the only way to stop the nightmares." OK - Just an update. Jodie and I are OK, we were on our boat on the river on Sunday 25th May. Jodie recieved a phonecall from her firechief - A tornado has touched down on the corner of our street and she is needed back. We left in a hurry - the 1hr trip only took us 30 minutes. For everyone wondering why my status is im on painkillers and im in pain and so on this is why.... I was comming outside saturday night after one of these stoves was burning for about 8 hours...I tripped and fell and burned about 50% of my right arm...I went to the hospital and found out i have 2nd degree burns and have to go to a burn treatment center for a few weeks....They said it shouldnt scar too much.....It was the worst pain I ever felt in my entire life...Im praying everything goes well...wish me luck

Camp
Well some of you already know that myself, my sister and my brother have started a non-profit organization. Well back in December we were told about a camp called Camp Janus that works with burn survivors. So we asked for an application to volunteer. We all filled one and and sent them in and i glad to say that we were chosen to go and help out with this camp. We have had an awesome time every time we go to the hospital to give out stuuffed animals and other things to these kids. So we are relly looking forward to going to this camp this weekend. While we are there we have been that there will be a TV network that maybe coming to do a story on the camp. Also there is a game show called YUCK that will be there doing games with the kids so there is a good possibility that we will be on TV. I will be getting on the train tomorrow from Kelso Wa to go to glorious Seattle Washington for a few days. My sisters wedding is on Saturday (thank GOD) so I doubt I will be getting on here much. Well, I'm starting my online chemistry class today, and I've still to see anything from the professor in my inbox containing a syllabus, instructions, or even just a quick "sorry, I'll have it up tomorrow" even. I don't want my first class in 4 years to start off this way, with me in limbo about how things should be... I'm scared, nervous, and very anxious about this online school thing, but I had to take the classes online for I'll be in Cancun the week of finals, and I can't miss them. I'm also stressed about a great many things in my life aside from college. Business is down so badly that it's going on over a week since I should've been paid...I'm still here cuz it's my family's business and I feel I've an obligation to stay to help my 75-year old dad. Well I was letting my daughter go to myspace for a while today, and she found something for me. Some pictures of my son. A couple of years ago he begged and begged to live with his dad. I let him for the summer, while there for the summer, I was badgered and called everyday by his dad, telling me he could give him everything he wanted, sports , tutors a good school. Because I got a promise from my son to come see me every other weekend and all holidays, I agreed. As soon as I did, I never heard from him again, except to call and tell me he couldn't make it for this and that. I can't sleep again because when I lay there all I can think about are my kids, first it starts out with me thinking about what I want to get them for Christmas and then I think about how I will get them these things.. quickly it turns into thoughts of what these last few years have been like for me. All the things I've wanted to do for my kids and all the things I've wanted to have for them and I've gotten nowhere. I'm really lost and it makes me want to cry, everytime I think about it I just want to break down, sometimes it's way to much. I feel like I'm letting them down by being such a loser and when I try to make things better, it just seems as though it makes my tunnel even longer. I can't even see the light anymore that's how far away from the end I am. I'm so torn.. I try to do good and help ppl or atleast I think I am and I get stepped on.

my daughter in law just had a little baby boy today. Things went terribly wrong today.. The baby is fine. But my daughter in law had to have a blood transfusion today so far they have given her 5 units of blood. She is in ICU--CCU now. She is in critial condition right now for the next 48 hours. I Was In A Car Accident..i Am So Happy To Be Alive..
i dont really know how to say this...but i am so lucky to be alive.....about 2 1/2 hrs ago i was driving home from work and was in a car accident......i was driving down rt295 coming home from work(i normally drive up rt70 and take the ben franklin) i dont know why i went this way...while i was driving... 3 huge deer were taking up all 3 lanes as they attempted to jog across 6 lanes of the highway... there was no way to avoid them at all...swerve to the left...i hit a deer.. swerve to the right...deer...straight ahead....deer...i had no time to blink..think...so i hit the center deer head on ...the impact nearly haulted my car so i try to pull over....the deer finally broke away from the front of my car and lay there in the highway...car after car..kept hitting this same deer and it kept flying in the air inching closer and closer to my car...at this point...i am scared to death..so i try to pull up more...two cars pulled over after they hit the same deer..one girl pulled over and star

Small Town
As most of you know I've moved from the big city to a small town. I am very happy being here. I finally got everything in order as far as getting everything put in it's place. On May 17, 2007, a dear friend of mine died of Lung Cancer. I did not learn of her passing until many months later nor did I even know she had been sick. R.i.p. Saga
Today, I had to have my kitten put to sleep. She had what is called FIP, Feline Infectious Peritonitis, a uncureable disease for cats. I found out that she had it on May 19th and she just kept getting worse as time went on. Like I said, it is uncurable, and the vet couldn't even give me a timeline for how long I would still have with her. I had got her from the Humane Society on March 9th of 2008, and at that time it was estamated that she was about 12 to 14 weeks old. She passed on May 28th of 2008 in my arms, knowing that she was loved so much. She was only about six months old. Thou she is gone from this world, she well still live on in my heart and my memorys. Her belly was filling with fluid and today her legs gave out on her when she hopped down off the chair she was laying in to get soem food and water. Yes I only had her for a few months, but she is dearly missed already. I know that I did the right thing by ending her suffering, but a part of me is second guessing my

I'm normally not one to talk politics or religion, but after listening to the radio this morning and seeing the gas prices go up another 3 cents overnight, I have to voice this and see what others think. The government is blaming OPEC for the gas prices being so high, but yesterday OPEC stated that they are flabbergasted at the rate of oil being over $130 a barrel. OPEC feels that oil shouldn't be over $60 a barrel, so who's really to blame? I honestly believe that the homeless rate is going to rise drastically very quickly. With gas prices, food prices, and the salary of the working class not increasing to reflect the gas and food prices, people are not going to keep their jobs long, either due to not being able to afford to get to and and from work because of gas prices or because of layoffs due to decreased spending. Been contemplating for a very very long time about leting you go. Things never been the same for months now and i really dont see anything making it better. Well, our daughter Savannah was due May 28th. Guess what?! She is not here yet! My hero/idol Billie Jean King I could write a book about what this woman means to me. The accomplishments she has made for women rights, gay rights and equality.
