With A Little Help From My Friends
Each weekend, I get my extreme happiness. Thats when my little sweetheart, the 4 1/2 year old who has my heart, comes and spends time with me and shows me what love is all about... So I try to take her each weekend to do something different, something that either reminds me of cool stuff I did as a kid, or something new to create a new wonderful memory and experience for her.. One weekend, we did a midnight McNugget picnic on my balcony and watched fireflies...(the pics are on my profile)... another weekend, we made Jiffy Pop...i know, an ancient invention to some, but it was so awesome to watch when I was a kid, and she loved it too. Although she did ask why we couldnt just put it in the microwave... and another weekend i took her to the sprinkler park out here. Wishing On A Star
I gaze up at the sky each night and find the brightest star. It's always waiting there for me so close, but yet so far. The star winks in the evening sky and reaches out to me. Club Philosophy
Music is art in sound wave form. You can't see it, but it can be heard. You may watch it played, but the way a sound leaves an instrument and reaches your ears is amazing. Especially in rock bands from the 70s to present! ;). I like Rap, Rock, Hip Hop, Reggae, Metal, all of it basically. I don't love certains bands, I just love music in general. Hell my boy Ludwig Van Beethoven kicked some sweet music out of that piano of his ;). As did Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. All music is beautiful. Just where heaven meets the air and combines in your ear. It's great.

Confused And Scared
Ok when I first became pregnant my ex didn't want anything to do with the baby or me.. Now all of a sudden he wants to name it and have half custody!!!! He has a bad temper and he even told me he can't handle kids.. He should know his sister has 4 of them and he can't stand to be around them for more than a few sec.... Right now i'm homeless and don't have a job.. even with every thing against him I'm afraid that he might get custudy becouse of my situation... was wondering if anyone can give me some advise??? The Ride Of A Life Time.

This afternoon I received a phone call from the fiance of one of my very very best friends telling me that she had passed away due to a drug overdose. Auditions For American Idol
Yes my daughter had her audition for American Idol, and she didn't make it which I am still just as proud of her anyway... not important, but the reasoning s and what goes on at these are a whole other story. We spent 5 hours Monday in line and getting inside to register for this audition, and that went fine they give you a seat ticket for the one auditioning and one person friend or parent there for you. Today Aug 13, 2008 we got there again at 5 am to find out the rules that say there will be no camping out or early line up was broke by hundreds so by the time we got there the line was as long as it could possibly go. It rained and we got wet.. but made in inside the Arena. When they do the auditions the have 24 producers that they split up and put two at each desk about 20 ft apart with a small partition wall between them. This is all set up in the center of the arena. They divide the people auditioning into 4 lines in front of each desk, so each group is judged by a diff

Is it just another boring day or is this something everyone should envy? A New Beginning
I want to write down all the things I am grateful for. I need to turn my frowns upside-down, and remember the happy person I used to always be, I miss that person and I know she is still there, deep inside. I have finally let go of the hurts I have been through. I am grateful that I have a job. It's not my dream job, but there is time for that. I am grateful to be working while so many people out there have unfortunately lost their jobs due to the poor economy. I am glad I am still able to work and provide for my family and pay my bills. I am grateful for the education I have received. I may be experiencing a snag, but it's not the end of the world. It will all work out the way it's supposed to. Choice Theory
A couple of semesters ago I had to take a class for my Major called "Choice Theory". Mind you that my idea about this class was less than to be desired but once the semester moved on I learned alot and opefully pass the idea around for other to think about. Choice Theory is an idea (a very true and insiteful idea) that was written by William Glasser,M.D. A psychiatrist that has been known world wide. In his book "Choice Theory" Dr. Glasser states; "for all practical purposes, we choose everything we do, including the misery we feel". Which means that all we can get from other people is the information that they give - it is how we act upon that information is what we choose. Working Out
This Blog is basicly for me..Yes I know you are all tired of reading my blogs....OH WELL lol. I lost 150 lbs (almost) a few years ago. I quit going to gym 3 months ago that didn't help my weight. Well starting today. My little one started school (poor teachers). So all 3 are in school now. Sometimes you never know how lucky you are until reality slaps you in the face. He has been in CA fighting the fires making a difference in the world. He was sent away for two weeks and I have not had any contact with him and it has been hard. He got back in CA today and asked me if I heard about the helicopter that went down last wednesday in CA and that nine of the firefighters were killed. I told him I was so thankful he was out of CA when that happened. He told me that was part of his team that was on there, and if he would have been in CA he would have been with them. My Buddy Pete Is Gone!
My Buddy Pete passed away yesterday. He was 41. We have been friends for many years. I stood with him when he got married. We used to race together. We worked at the speedway together. Pete suffered for a long time. Many ailments. He even recieved a kidney transplant a few years ago. And he never, ever complained. I did. I hated to see the the things he had to go thru. But he would tell me to shut up, he would deal with it! But now it's over. God decided to call Pete home. Pete will never be in pain again. But right now we are. But we /I will deal with the pain, because that's what Pete did, and would want us to do. I'll be gone for a few days, back on Sunday night. I was driving home from work and listening to a talk radio show that I recently found I quite enjoy. There was an email read on the show that shocked me. The woman wrote about her sister who she looked up to and aspired to be like. The account took place after the sister's husband had broken his leg. The sister was having coffee with friends, her husband was on the couch in another room. He rudely requested that she bring him a certain drink. Obviously he should not have acted in such a way. The woman went into the room picked up his crutch and refractured the leg which was in a cast. She left him screaming in agony while she finished coffee with friends and basically gloated. Hell Week
On Sunday 1 of my horses went down, tried to find help, Who is at home on sunday afternoon, finally Deb a good friend said she would be right over, we thought this would turn out in a good way, got him up & going again,long story short, hauled him to the vet and about 3 am monday morning, i had to say Good bye. At 7:30 am the same morning my brother was injured, they didn't find him until 7:30 pm, he was taken to a local hospital & life flighted to a big hospital in portland, with surgery waiting, he made it though the surgery, but not sure what the out come will be.

My Exciting Life
I am still battling a sore back. My back is almost better, just one sore spot left. Not sure what caused it, but will be glad when I am totally pain free. I am ready for school. If you don’t know by now I recently had back surgery and it went great the dr said. The funny part is that I am in more pain now then I was before the surgery. Now my right leg has this shooting pain that goes all the way down to my foot. My leg is also numb it really does suck. To help the pain the dr gave me meds, but the said part is I am 23 and I am have to take 7 different kinds of meds. They have me taking 15 pills every 6 hours. Some of these pills are heavy narcotics like morphine. I am afraid that I will get hooked on the and it will be a pain in the ass to get off of them! And another thing is when I take all these pills I fill like I cant do much cause I fill weak and drain all the time. My days are just passing me by. The pain gets worse at night so I don’t sleep that much so I just lay in bed thinking! In Remembrance
My favorite relative, my uncle Edgel, passed away early this morning. He had melanoma several years ago, which metasticized into his brain. The tumors were inoperable, and although they tried radiation, chemo, gamma knife, and surgery, the cancer spread into his lungs and liver. He has been in a coma for nearly two weeks. He had a "No Heroic Measures" will, and therefore has had no nutrition, nor fluids of any kind. It is just the sheer Harper ruggedness that kept him going this long. There was a song written by an acquaintance of mine and recorded by Pine Mountain Railroad called "Beyond The Rain". He wanted me to sing it at his funeral, and his widow has asked me to do "Amazing Grace" with my guitar as well. It is going to be so difficult, but I will get through it with his help. Ok, SO I read a magazine that does a monthly article on an unfortunate incident in the UK where a "goth" couple were beaten and the girl killed by hate mongers claiming it was all done because of their appearance and demeanor. My oldest daughter is getting married in October 2008, and my middle daughter is graduating high school in December2008. It's hard to believe they grow up so fast. I will never understand peoples reasoning behind flagging pictures! Vacation
Well…how was my vacation? It’s a long story so I thought it would be easier to blog than to answer each time. Well, it wasn’t quite how I expected. The beach house was beautiful and we had a wonderful relaxing first day at Harbor Beach. On the second day, we went out to Santa Cruz’s 26th ave. Beach and were having a great day with friends and family when “IT” happened. A wave lifted my son and his boogie board up then crashed him down plowing into my 10 year old daughter. As we ran to her we could instantly see the leg was not looking how it should and thought it might be a dislocated knee. We rushed her to the local hospital where X-rays showed that it was broken at the knee right through the growth plate. After much debate, the doctor’s felt she should have surgery near our home due to the follow-up that would be needed to ensure that her leg does not have a growth disturbance. She and I were put in an ambulance for the 4 hour trip back home. We arrived at 2am where the orthop

Last night was a very scary experience for me. I think it was from the medication I was taking. So I just hopped out of the bed real quick to try to walk it off, but it was getting worse and worse. Driving On The Freeway
Im bored at work...so i thought why not blog about something that is bugging me.... I drive about 30 miles to work 5 days a week. Almost all my driving is done on the 101, which is one of the major freeways here. It can take me any where from 30 minutes to an hour to get to work or home from work depending on traffic. Anyways....while driving to work I realized there are a lot of things that bug me about drivers on the free way. 1. people driving slow in the fast lane and not getting over so you can pass. 2. people who merge into your lane and start to drive under the speed limit. 3. people who cut you off while on their cell phone.
