I just wanted to tell all of my wonderful friends that I miss you all very much and I'm sorry that I haven't been online for a while. Today I said goodbye to another wonderful woman. I had to bid farewell to my Aunt Elizabeth. Elizabeth was my mom's sister that was her "twin"...mom shadowed Liz-beth all throughout childhood and they remained close as adults. My cousins are older than I so I didnt hang with them as much, however when I did there was certainly fun to be had. Hi All: This blog is for a very dear friend of mine. Her daughter was in a major vehicle accident early this morning and was rushed to a Pittsburgh hospital. My friend's daughter was not breathing when rescuers got to the scene. She was revived, however, by a firefighter before being rushed to the hospital. Upon getting to the hospital, it was discovered that my friend's daughter's brain was swelling. I have not heard anything more than that. Ok I was trying to get some help because I had a stroke in January, but it turns out according to DHS I am not disabled enough for help !!! Yes I can get around as long as there is something for me to grab onto if I lose my balance 1 problem I have since the stroke I tilt a lot. Some of you who know me, know that I love music and that I am a singer. Tomorrow night I will be singing at my first open mic night and I am excited. Most people who do this can play the guitar or piano. I can't play either, but I do have recorded musical accompaniment tracks that I will use. I am going to try and get some pics taken that I can post on here. I plan on doing more to try and get singing more than just at karaoke. Ok I am in the National Guard. And I am sure that some of you know that the wild fires in Northern Cali are very bad. And also know that National Guard troops have been called up to help fight these fires. I was one of about 28 people from my company that were activated to help. I want to send out my thanks to the firefighters that do this all season long year after year. Because it is a very difficult job to do. Not to mention dangerous. For those of you who are familiar with the locations and names of the fires. I was located at the Lime Complex fire camp and cut hand line and mop up operations on the lime fire and and telephone fire. My so called "Best Friend" and I recently had a conflict. Here's where it all started... My best friend since kindergarten and his wife got in a really bad motorcycle wreck. She is in ICU in critical condition. He is up and moving around, but cant do much for himself. Him and I had done our thing years ago. Waay before they got together and got married. My Life The Past Two Weeks

Okay so most of the people in my world know that I am going into the hospital Thursday July 31 to have a hysterecomy, granted there are a few that do not. I hate to say this but sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't just live with the pain I am dealing with until menopause hits. I have been seeing doctors for years, yes YEARS over the problems that my monthly vistor brings, I have been given one bullshit reason after another as to what is causing the monthly bitch to be so damn bitchy, the doctors had my history, including my family history. I honestly sounded like a broken record with each new doctor telling them, 'both of my grandmothers had hysterectomies at relatively young ages, I do not know why and my mother had endometriosis and went through menopause at 38.' Did they ever once decide that they should look into this? HELL NO! What I have been told: ~Stress ~Two Children too close together (how about the fact that I have had this problem before I even had children???)

Urine Testing
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that pay check, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to GET a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. Learning Patience And Tolerance
So, I always thought my life would be picture perfect. You know....2.5 kids, fabulous career, married to obscenely wealth man, beautiful house with a white picket fence. Well, things didn't go exactly as I planned. I am sure you aren't surprised. They never do for anyone. I got close on a few of those things. What I have really found out is that I was valuing some of the wrong things. I realize now that I am very lucky. See, my life has been blessed by someone with Autism. The way he sees the world is absolutely amazing. In slow steps he is teaching me patience. Since I never had much patience, this is a hard thing for me to learn. Not only that, but he brings me joy every moment that I am with him. Makes the picket fence seem so unimportant. Recently, another person in my life has been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. I never realized how all-consuming it could be. Learning about the symptoms of this disorder made me realize that not all people think the same

To those who I consider friends on here, knew that today was my sister's funeral (or maybe if people read my blogs or mumms they would know as well). I want to thank the FEW (and I can count them on ONE hand) friends who actually hit me up and asked how it went and were genuinely thoughtful to me about it. It was a hard quick time (I didn't stay long due to me having to bring my children with me and I couldn't handle them asking questions about what was going on and trying to deal with it all myself) but it is done and she is somewhat at peace now, at least until her killer is caught, then she will be at total peace. So again, to the few who thought of me today, thank you. I have a serious hangover from drinking my day away though and have to try to rest a lil now. Here I sit in a hotel room hundreds of miles from home with nothing but my thoughts.I spent today at Asistencia Rehabilitation Center with my 93 yr old Grandmother watching her go from bad to worse b4 my eyes. 1 week ago they drained a quart of fluid from her lungs.....they believe it contained cancerous material but will not make a diagnosis because of her age. They say chemo at her age is unnecessary. Who are they to decide when her life should end. Tomorrow they xray again and Monday we find out if she will recover or if they medicate her and send her home with hospice. As i sat there and watched 4 generations bustle around the room it hit me....this one GREAT WOMAN is the glue that holds our extended family together....what happens when she is gone? She lived a long beautiful life and I believe she is readt to let go, why can't my family let go? I wish they would let her go in peace.......

It is now 0221 (for those that dont understand Military time that is 2:21am) and beings there is nothing on TV, I popped in what is now my favorite movie after Full Metal Jacket, "The Guardian."
