An Eye Injury That Would Scare Anyone!
The injury to the NBA Pro Basketball Suns Forward Amare Stoudemire is not a good one for the simple fact of that matter is, partially detached or totally detached retina’s take time to recover, the reason why I say this is, back in 1999, I was dianosed with a detached retina, had to go thru surgery to attach the retina again and it was not fun at all because I had to take four different sets of eye drops, one of them was a steroid and what makes this even scarier is the fact that I am physically challenged with Cerebral Palsy, I am totally blind in my left eye & totally deaf in my left ear and have been since birth so therefore when I was diagnosed with a detached retina wasn’t fun in fact, I cried big time and was scared for my well being because I thought if they don’t repair this detached retina and reattach it, I was gonna be totally blind here! My Thoughts
1: I believe in setting goals, they help you to reach toward the future with ambition and drive. But I don’t think you should strive for the reward as an end to those goals. My best friend James Robert, is such a good man. I can honestly say that no one in this town hated that man. Everyone loves James, even me. I have only known this man for 3 years, but in this short period of time we had a blast. James is the world's best cook, he can make you anything you want and make it delicious. James has a million of friends, and two great daughters. He did anything and everything you can think of. His favorite was getting drunk and playing poker! He actually is the one who taught me how to play poker, and the first game we played at the bar I won. It rocked! On Monday 2/16/09 we played our last game of Yuker, and I lost with my friend Hope. It's all good though. The next day James ended up in the hospital, he said he had a really bad headache. So his friends drove him to the hospital and his blood pressure was 240/180. The hospital induced a coma, to make him more comfy. The same day the life lined him to another hospital in Indianapolis.

All Is Well With Mah Nose!
Well, I just got home from seeing the doctor that did the skin graft on my nose. Hard to believe its been almost 3 months since all of that but I wanted to let you all know that things are healed up and looking good. As I told the doctor, its not perfect like one would hope but I can live with this nose. In the beginning he was thinking he may need to do some further surgery to build up where the cancer was a bit deeper but that wont be necessary! I am SO grateful for that. As of today, he has released me. I want to thank you all again for all of your love, prayers, well wishes and support through all of this. Its a true blessing to have the wonderful friends that I have here on the fu. Without you I would have been a worse basket case than I was. Love to you all! You are the best!

Well for those of you that know me, know that i have a sister who was awaiting trial. My sister was sentenced to 15 years. which when u look at it is a whole lot better than 40, however her life will be mostly over when she comes out. i am very torn and unsure on how to feel on this. what she did was wrong, i'm not by any means excusing it, but i think she needs help other than to sit in a prison for 15 years. how does that help her mental state? regardless of what she did i still love her and always will.

Today around 5 pm my mom attempted suicide. She called crying saying over and over again that she just wanted me to know how much she loved me. I rushed over to find her babbling incoherently and she was barely conscious. As my friend and I rushed her to the hospital her breathing was becoming more shallow. Too Much To Ask?
I know this is long but I could really use your opinion on this...Im torn. Please comment with your TRUE feelings and thoughts after, no matter how brutal it may be. My Exhusband was verbaly and emotionaly abusive for years before I left him last year. He hurt me BAD. For the record we were married for 10 years. Parent Update
This is probably the hardest blog I've ever written thus far, but with so many wonderful friends sending well wishes and the fact that I don't want to miss anyone who has sent them, I felt it needed to be done. As many of you know, my mother was taken on Monday, by ambulance, to the hospital. Her heart rate was over 300, her BP 275/180 and she couldn't breathe. After spending time with her both yesterday and today, and speaking with two of her doctors, I have some updated information. She was diagnosed with breast cancer about 12 years ago. After going through the required regimen of treatments and a radical mastectomy of one of her breasts, it went into remission for almost 7 years. Then about 4 years ago, the drs discovered that the breast cancer had metastasized to several areas of bone. Once again, she went through treatment and they declared she was once again in remission. After speaking with her oncologist today, they have discovered tumors on a few of her organs and

Ramblings
This morning on the walk home from work, I decided to do something different. Against my best judgment and all reason, I decided to stop by Starbuck's for a cup of coffee. The reasoning behind this, though mainly because Brennan had stopped by work and was on his way over there, was that it is between my apartment and work, roughly halfway. So here it is. Divorce. We had out fair share of issues but nothing we couln't ever work through. hey this is just a little bite about how i feel about the way some ppl treat our troops when they come home like the of day a man got on the bus and his transfer was five mins over due and he told the driver he just got home from over seas and this was his first time seeing his baby son and the driver said"thats not my problem its your own stupidity for joining the army " like come on a simple sorry sir would have done like these men and women not only give teir services but they give their lives to to fight for us like i hope its different in the states but i just want to say to all the troops canadian or american thank you and remember the next time you meet a man or woman in the service just a thank you goes a long way.

OK, well I have been reading some blogs and think I some what understand how this works, my views on whatever is on my mind for the day, week, month or year. This is what is up so far(if anyone is remotely interested) I am 43 years old and disabled, I did not ask to be, have a family, that I wanted, why is so hard to get help from our Gov. I busted my but for 26 years, some years I worked three jobs to support my family. My children got the state min. benifits and if my wife was not attending school, working part time, she would not have any benny's at all. As for me, medicare sucks, if I want supplemental coverage it could cost as much as $400 or as little as $150 a month, forget about dental or vision. Diarrhea
Damn I hate having the runs. I've had them for 3 days now, and am feeling like I've been molested by a polarbear. Now, the worst thing about diarrhea is that you get these mixed signals from your butt, things that would normally work just fine stops working altogether. There are these two deliveryguys that pass through your butt, one is called the poop-delivery guy, the other is call the fart-delivery guy, now normally you would recognize what fart-delivery guy feels like, and when you are getting a delivery, you go off on your own and pass it through - or sometimes you can just refuse to accept delivery. The poop-delivery guy is usually a very patient sort of fellow, he waits until you are ready to accept the delivery, "Hey man, no fuss - whenever you are ready mate". I was recently nominated for a position on the Agent's Council for RLI Insurance Co. It's a very prestigious honor to be nominated, especially since there are only 6 members of the panel. Two IIABA Administrators, two retail MGA agents, one retail distributor and one call center representative. The executive director of the orgainization I work for as well as the director for my department were notified and they approved of my participation, and now I get an all expense paid trip to Chicago at the end of March!!! I'm really excited!!! I've never been to Chicago and I am finally getting acknowledgement for the job I have done since I took over the insurance program almost two years ago. I just hope I get a chance to sight-see a little before I come back home!!!

Frankfort Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 2-year old girl, who police say, was taken by her father who is armed and possibly suicidal. The Amber Alert was issued at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. News From My Life
The county in Florida where I live has been having regular budget cut meetings to discuss where to cut funding. On the chopping block are school sports up to Varsity (how are the kids below varsity supposed to get the help they need to make the team?) and all music programs. My 14-year-old daughter has been playing the cello for the past 4 years, and has been counting on that ability to help with scholarship funding for college. If she is not able to get scholarship funding through music, she will be in competition with countless others for academic scholarships as there will be no alternative. This sucks.
