Family Tragedy
In the last month a close friend lost her baby to miscarriage, I recently added a very good new friend that lost a baby too, and tonight at the hospital we learned my wife has now lost a child. In the span of about 2 hours we learned she was pregnant and that we lost him/her. Can't say much more right now. The words just won't come out right.

I have a friend with a very sick daughter. Ivy is in a great deal of pain most of the time and has a poor quality of life due to the nature of her disease. There is medication that can give her a good chance at a normal life but she has been denied the opportunity to take it. I've always had problems with my weight..In high school I suffered from both bulimia and anorexia..Mine actually started in Junior high... The other morning while driving through town, I encountered a group of people standing at various positions around the stop light in the center of town... Each of them are holding out buckets with the name of some church plastered on them... These people are begging for money!!!! Some towns have laws that prevent bums from standing at street corners begging for handouts, but what is the difference here??? Since I live in the Bible Belt, I imagine that most people weren't offended by this... In fact I saw some people open their windows and deposit money into the buckets... Hello Everyone: Well, I had my surgery and everything went well. I did have to stay overnight though. But that was ok by me the bed was very comfortable. Ya know one of those with air ride lol. My Mind Is Numb
I have had a rough week because of my son Anthony being just the worst! Also, I thought I could stop taking the medication for the arthritis in my neck and that was a huge mistake! It started with Anthony being a jerk on his birthday and the next day for his birthday party. They party was fun despite him! It was just mostly family and turned out quite nice. Anthony just doesn't get it. He cut school yesterday and then lied about it. I am upset at Peter for not punishing Anthony more. He has been just "talking" to him about all this stuff. The Rat Race
Once you work on something for some amount of time you usually want the outcome to be in your favor. Take me for instance. I've been in the army for 7 years, I'm good with ppl and don't really get into trouble.....I know my job, and I'm damn good at it. Yet all I seem to get is "You fucked up", or "You didn't do that right." I've been on three deployments. All I have gotten is a handshake. No awards saying that I have served my country, nothing, nothing at all. Shit I can't even get a fucking reach around, or have them use KY when they fuck me over. I'm sick and tired of striving in this life when all i get is.........nothing. Nothing to show for my hard work, and dedication to what i do and to what I love, and that is to the uniform i wear every day. Rip Shannon
I write this thru watery eyes so please forgive the errors. Over this Past weekend, when it's supposed to be a joyous weekend, with me going home for Easter and being baptised and all, it turned out to be a miserable weekend. A good friend of my oldest daughter sister was killed. Shannon was 1 day before her 21st birthday when her life ended so horibly. She was killed in the flood waters in southern Ill. Update On My Pregnancy
so yesterday Rah & I went to Tri County Mall to try to walk Landon out. Well it ALMOST worked, but my cervix decided that it didn't want to dilate any. =( But I had gotten into her truck, and felt a little bit of a gush of water. So we went to a few places, and I called my doctor, and Rachel was on call and told me to go ahead and go to the hospital, and to pack my bags because if my water is leaking they were just going to go ahead and lemme have him. So I called my mother, and a few other people that are really close to me, and let them know what was going on. So I get to mom's house, and I pack my bag, and get it ready. well then I went on up to the hospital. We were there for a while. They told us, we could not have Shannon Kelsey's remains to bury. They said the state would not allow it, it was against health codes. After this last weekend having to go to yet another funeral. I drove back here to Texas with the radio off in silence my mind just wandered then the last two days at work in an office by myself, I just couldn’t help but have thoughts of regret. In the last few years my God-Daughter was murdered, my best friend was taken by cancer in a matter of 4 months and died christmas eve. My God-son was killed by a elderly woman who drove her car through the school cafeteria wall. And this past weekend a friend of the family was killed by the floods in Illinois. My personal opinion is that it refers to the feelings one has when certain prompts are given to them about their country/flag/elected officials, etc. Other things enter my thoughts when I posed this question to myself. Such as, can a person be patriotic and an Atheist? Everywhere you look our country's symbolism is rife with the word GOD. Our money has it, our Pledge of Allegiance(sp), so if you don't believe in the Christian God, can you be a patriot? I believe so, 100%. I am Atheist and I still say the Pledge as I learned it. I definitely use money all the time. And I consider myself a patriot. I am respectful to the flag, I get choked up when I sing the National Anthem, I outright cry when I see images of the Vietnam Memorial Wall, and I'm not sure why.
