Once you work on something for some amount of time you usually want the outcome to be in your favor. Take me for instance. I've been in the army for 7 years, I'm good with ppl and don't really get into trouble.....I know my job, and I'm damn good at it. Yet all I seem to get is "You fucked up", or "You didn't do that right." I've been on three deployments. All I have gotten is a handshake. No awards saying that I have served my country, nothing, nothing at all. Shit I can't even get a fucking reach around, or have them use KY when they fuck me over. I'm sick and tired of striving in this life when all i get is.........nothing. Nothing to show for my hard work, and dedication to what i do and to what I love, and that is to the uniform i wear every day. The ppl that thank me everyday for serving my country is great, and I am greatful for it, but damnit sometimes you have to give credit where credit is due, and i'm on the deserving side of it.
