A Reminder In Case The Neurological Department Ask.
Well, I thought I had better note this before I forget and then have to admit, to whomsoever rings up to enquire about my seizure status, that I could not remember when it was. I have increased my medication 50 mg so that is 200mg am and 250mg pm. This was done because I am not pig headed and just felt the murmurings of something which I thought would be better nipped in the bud. I did not want to increase but it seemed prudent to do so. I have not had another seizure to date. It is coming up to the 2nd anniversary of the worst 17 days of my life. I do not regret having the surgery for all the problems as life has improved no end in so many respects. For instance, I do not have to worry about leaving things in the gangway in case I have a seizure and break my neck on it whilst having an absence, which is the form the seizures took. I really am not much of a blogger and please don't spell check me but I had some thought that i needed to get out. I am writing this on the7th anniversary of my fathers death. Today is a very hard day for me because when I was younger my father and I were not very close. In fact my gradfather was more like a father to me at times than my dad was. I understand that my dad had to work to keep us fed but he was hardly home with driving truck and stuff.As I got older and things slowed down and eased up for my dad we became much closer and became very good friends plus father and son. I could finally talk to my dad about things that I was once afraid to mention to him. It felt real nice to have a friend, buddy, and father all in one. I also realize that I had my father in my life than a lot of other people, but concidering that I didn't really have my of a relationship with him until i was in my mid to lat 20's I didn't have that relationship long. Bad News
It has been about 2 years now since my granfather was diagnosed with cancer and given only 6 months left. Just the thought of the C word at his age is terrifying, not to mention the fact that hes so stubborn that by the time he actually said something was wrong and he was in pain, it had already spread to 3 other areas than where it had started. I love my grandfather. He was the rock when I was a kid, he was stubborn, bullheaded, and also the most amazing man you will ever meet. He was in the Navy in WWII as a PT Boat Captain, the youngest person on the boat and the captain lol. After that served in the Korean war. I've Come To A Point In My Life..........
I've come to a point in my life, being 32, single, no kids and never been married or even close to, that I've come to wonder if this is it? Is this the life that was chosen for me? a tragedy happened in a small town this weekend in Breckenridge, Tx. Late sunday afternoon a 7 yr old little boys was brutally attacked, dismembered and murdered by 3 pit bulls that were supposed to be family pets. Dont ever think for one second that a family pet wont attack and hurt u. Pit Bulls should be outlawed. In the state of Tx. there a numerous attacks weekly and deaths that occur from the animals that are supposed to be a family pet. If u own one of the animals please take into consideration what i am tellin you. This is no joke. These animals are known for the aggresiveness and wont think twice about hurtin or killing. It is in there nature. I have been a friend of this family for sometime now and i hate to have to bury such a young person. I am askin that u keep this family in your prayers in their time of need. Need Opinions!
Its been awhile since the last time I blogged. I guess you could say things are going pretty well, I'm still a little confused on which job to take since my part time job just threw me a surprise b-day party and got me a small gift. I love the doctor I work for, and I've learned so much in the last couple of months but financially full time is what I need. The full-time job offers advancement opportunities and more money. The doctor's office pay is ok but not alot and only 16 hrs a week unless someone takes off for vacation or is sick. About My Sister
My sister had her surgery today..a successful Gaul bladder removal...but while they were in there they found some Gaul stones that were blocking her Bile Duct...and she will be going back in Tomorrow morning for a twilight surgery to remove the 'floating' stones... We were a Lil shaken today because she didnt awake for 5.5 hours after surgery and her B.P was 210/185 and now needs OXY for air to breath... Chalk The Walk

Trying Not To Fall Into Self Pity Here
For those who've read my blogs and have talked with me, here's the latest update. As some of you know, at the beginning of this year, my son started having mysterious stomach ailments. His Dr. put him through alot of tests to find out the cause of his pain. After several months we thought we had finally figured out the problem. In May of this year, my son went through a minor surgery. The surgery went fine and he was given a clean bill of health. Or so we thought. Wasn't long after his surgery he started having the same symptoms all over again. I can't tell you how upsetting this was to us. Very upsetting for my baby. He went through some more testing and more exams recently. I got a call from his Dr. at the beginning of this past week informing me they would like to do additional testing to see if he has Crohns' Disease. My heart fell into the bottom of my stomach. Cut My Hair!!!
So yesterday, about 4:00 pm, I had hair that tickled my butt crack. It was thick, and annoying, and I could rarely put it up really nicely because it was too damaged and brushing it was a bitch. My boyfriend is driving me batty...really, it's not his fault but, UGHH!!!! I thought him loosing his job at our former employer would be good for our relationship...instead, it's making it worse. An unnamed 16-year-old Michigan boy was charged Tuesday after beating female school bus driver because he didn’t like how she did her job. Last night, at about 10pm, I was leaving the local grocery store near my house. I had my purse in the back of my cart, basket full of groceries. Perspective
Someone help me gain some perspective because I'm slightly freaking out. Sure I know I went to a private college for four years. I understand that it was expensive and that I took out student loans. Of course I KNOW how much I took out over the 4 years. But it all just slapped me in the face. Right now with the interest that has already accrued on some of the accounts my grand total of student loan debt is: $59,335 This scares me. I feel like I'm going to be paying this money back until I'm retired. This total makes me think of a nice luxury car that I gave up owning because I HAD to get a college degree. Value Of Life
Well sometimes you never realize the value of your life until something major happens or almost happens. I got to get a reminder today to enjoy every day as a blessing when I got to see a car heading my way going the wrong way on the highway. I guess I probably should elaborate. . . . I was on my way to work just like anyother day, but my friend had me driving today. Well as I was traveling on one of the major 4 lane highways in this area I see a car heading straight for me on the wrong side of the road. I am lucky my defensive driving payed off I was able to slam on the brakes and move safely to the left shoulder. . . I was so excited today..even after going through all my mail and seeing the bills..because I got one letter that made me overlook them. It was from knox county education service center..saying that they did testing throughout the school year..and have noticed that my youngest who is going into 3rd grade..is gifted in math. So, here I am, a new user yet again on another social networking site. Cheeseburger Pizza Yield: 6 servings Ingredients 1 (12-ounce) package whole wheat or oat bran English muffins (6 muffins) 12 ounces lean ground beef (90% or higher) 1 large red or orange bell pepper, finely chopped (about 1½ cups) ½ teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning 1 cup pasta sauce 1½ cups pre-shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese Procedure Preheat the oven to 400°F. Slice the English muffins in half and place on a baking sheet. Toast lightly in the oven if desired. Set aside. Place the beef, red pepper, and oregano in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook, breaking up the large pieces, until the meat is no longer pink, 6 to 8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
