I think that contests are childish and boring. The only reason for them, is that people want some cheap points. All the time I get requests to go and vote for, not only friends and fans, but even for someones own friends/fans. Come on, this has got nothing to do with real friendship. Of course I will go and vote for my real true friends if they decide to participate in a contest, but otherwise, I have better things to do. So please, lets be real friends and not indulge in those stupid contests. I for one love to show love and affection for my friends, but contests are not the way. Hope you are having fun.

Contests And How Dumb They Are!
My best friend is in the sweetest smile contest and she has one of the nicest smiles around, but it will be impossible for her to win due to the fact that more "popular" cherries have more people comment bombing for them. It is unfortunate that comment bombing is allowed it makes contests pointless and dumb, and it shows that they are only to get ratings for the contest holder. I think CherryTap should make a special contest section and if you want to hold a contest you have to use the contest section and each person should only be able to comment once in the contest section. Anyway, just my two cents on how dumb contests are. I've entered a contest. I've comment bombed people. I've been comment bombed. This job really sucks for me at the moment. I can't stand it. It's getting harder and harder to keep my mouth shut. Today, before 9:00 am, the Project Manager mouthed off to our CO, who does not have any patience. Why can't civilian contractor employees understand that when a CO directs you to do something, you either better do it or keep your mouth shut? If he's wrong and you shouldn't do what he is telling you, then you keep your mouth shut and come up with a game plan to prove he's wrong. I have never served in the military, but I'm smart enough to know that when a CO tells you something, you don't give them any lip. What's really crazy is that this PM has served in the Navy. He should know better. ARRGGHHHH! I believe I am going to be offered a career position with a security firm as a contracts administrator. Although, I hate to leave construction, this project is winding down and the next project is nowhere in site. I could always go get other experience and come back

Well I need to admit that I foolishly joined a contest for the best cleavage. I knew I wouldn't win, but I thought it might give me a lil ego boost to hear people's comments on mt pic. I should have known better. I was prepared for the other people to be comment bombed and get my ass kicked. I however was not prepared for people to be mean. As soon as the contest started someone marked my pic and another girl's pic as NSFW. Which means that the only way we would get comments if they added the person who was holding the contest as a friend. So I guess I have seen the petty side of cherry tap. Just had to get this off my chest so to speak.

Thirteen years ago today Kurt Cobain died. I know I post a lot of bulletins and whatnot about when celebrities die and stuff, but i feel this one is different. Nirvana was the first band that i truely liked, for more than just the fact that their music sounded good. Its a Cliché but their music meant something to me. I was only 12 when it all ended, but it was also helping through a lot of times when i was alone and really not happy, it did for years after, and it still does today. I have certain songs that mean a lot to me, but no other band has meant as much to me as Nirvana did and still does. So this is just my way of honoring them and their amazing frontman.

I will never enter one.. Because I can afford to pay for a blast, and I don't get the "gifts." They're just little graphics. I give them out, I get them. Fine. But think about it, you get 15-20k comments for each contestant. You have about 5-12 entries. That's a buttload of points, and that yacht or ring will be paid by the comments. Continued Loathing.
So perhaps I wasn't clear in my last little entry.. I had gone to long without sleep, and that was doing funky things to sense of well being, or lack there off. So I find myself trying to figure out my step in my career and in life. Recently divorced and a long way way from my normal environment I am not sure what to do. My job is not a n easy one, and not easy to find a new one period. So, if i help create another new job opportunity do I take it or stay? I ususlly only in 1 place for two years at a shot on average based on my job. Pros; More money, higher position, closer to environment that I am used too and respect from co-workers. Cons; Starting over again (6th time), What few friends I have will be far away, will have to work alot of hours again.
