Being In Iraq
Well to start things off let me say what is being done here is for the best for the people of Iraq and also for the US. I Feel Good. (kinda Diary Of My Dieting)
Well past year or so I have packed on weight..that I didn't want to do. 10yrs ago after my oldest boy..I did weight watchers..and lost 50lbs. Well 26 days till the family moves. I am starting to get a little stressed about the move, but I know it will be a good thing. Sorry I have been out of touch recently, but I just had one hell of a week. I lost my power on Tuesday around 6:30pm of last week. I just got it back today (Monday) around 1am or so when I heard my heater kick back on. The past week between was lived without any power or heat of any kind. The ice storm had froze all the trees until the weight caused them all to split and fall. Houses, cars, power lines, and everything else you can imagine was crushed by them. It pretty much devastated the whole state of Ky with most of the damage in the western part, where I have been so lucky to live. My whole family lives out in this little county away from the city, which they seem to like until this. They have been told that it will be around a month before they get power and home phones back up. A MONTH!! New Rating System
So, here we are. We were doing just fine with the old rating system, where every 150 or so rates you would get the bouncer, which if you are HUMAN you can work around. But this CRAP about every other pic rate is TOO FAST is a load... A huge LOAD. FU needs to realize that the OLD system was working just fine. If they are worried about bots then they need to find a different way to do it. This rating system SUCKS and needs to go to the garbage IMMEDIATELY!!!

The Beard
this hair of the face, also known as a beard, has become somewhat of an annoyance to me yet im loving it. Im only temporarily letting it grow once again until my 22nd birthday. Which is on February 26, 2009. i believe now it on its 3rd week of growth. It amazes me how fast my beard grows in a matter of days/weeks. if i were to shave it off, it will take 2 days to have the fine scruffiness of hair and it is very noticeable. its annoying but hey i have to live with it for the rest of my life. Ive gotten some reasonable positive feedback from this beard from people. Comments like "wow, you make scruffiness look sexy" or "the beard makes you look older". hilarious. i still not sure where im going with this beard look. but whatever. had to try it once more to see some more satisfactory results. its getting a bit annoying cause i have i feeling like i should trim it down some cause there are hairs that look like gross antennas and its wierd. i dont know. its annoying lol. im so

Health And Wellness
For those of my friends that are in the know and to refresh your memory; I had an accident 4yrs. ago and again last August that pretty much trashed my back. Since that time, I have been in agony, the pain is indescribable. I have seen doctors, orthopaedic surgeons and physical therapists since last August. To bring you all up to date, I have had shots in my back, finished my physical therapy, etc. My blood test results are normal and I'm a very healthy person despite being a broken down old man...lol. As long as I follow certain guidelines, I will be able to push back any surgery by at least 10-15 yrs. So, all in all, I'm doing pretty good so long as I don't over do it. Thx to all that have given me their concerns.....

Letting Go But Not Forgetting
Due to events in my life in the last few years I have taken a long hard look at things. One of the things that I have been pondering is the statement I have heard from more than a few people giving me advice. That statement is "You have got to forget your past and move on...or You have to let go of your past and move on." Here is what I have concluded about those two statements. You basically have three options with those two statements (that many people do not see being different from one another). First, you can forget your past. Second, you can let go of your past. And finally you can say that you choose to let go of and forget your past. The first and third option basically say that to move on you have to forget all that happened. I don't agree with this. Kentucky Ice Storm
I was just wondering that it seems like when another country has a disaster the US government is there the next day. Why then when there is a disaster here it takes a week? It took a week in New Orleans and it has taken a week here in western Kentucky where the county I live in has no power except generators, many fellow Kentuckians have a well due to no available water and as we all know wells require power. We can drive to town but are limited to 5 gallons, try going all day with only 5 gallons of water. We were told that we will not have electricity for at least a few weeks. The national guard has been here for a few days with many more coming today to help. Our county schools have been postponed "indefinately" The only thing we have is your prayer requests. New Rating Speed On Fubar
Time's are a changing.... and I guess it's that "deal with it or....." deal going now. I learn to deal with things all the time. And fubar's new slow speed on rating pics is just another one of those that we all have to learn to deal with or .... whatever we choose. I do refuse to gripe about it. Sure, it has slowed us down...but it's that "stop and smell the roses" kinda thing for me. Too many days and hours...we rush, rush, rush. Now it's time to slow down a bit and enjoy this fubar-land. Closing The Doors
ANNOUNCEMENT: It is with a heavy heart and really great memories that I'm announcing that SWEETWATERS, will be closing the doors....on February 24th, 2009 , at Noon (EST). We've had a great run and lotz of fun, made some great friends and I thank every one of you for either being a member or being staff. But, I'm being charged $2500 fubux each week now to keep the lounge, if it's not 'active'. That's a ridiculous charge, but that's what Fubar has decided to charge now instead of the $250 fubux previously being charged. I would love to keep the lounge open but there's not enough staff to help run it and honestly just not enough members being brought in. Whats Going On

Life Is Crazy
OK it has been a while since I blogged but things have been crazy here. We found out last fall that Soldier Boy will be deploying this summer. I adopted my 2 grand daughters so they are now our daughters. I finished my theology courses and now I have my doctorate degree. I am taking certification classes to be an Interior Designer and also taking Art classes. I do not have alot of time to get on the computer anymore with all the work I have to get done. I am currently actively looking for an associate pastors job with in the area. Tamyra is going to be 5 in a week and then it will be time to start school for her. I know I haven't been on as much lately. I will try to start..but been busy working..and exercising..and just bunch of running around. Today I did my first week weight in at weight watchers. Food Recipe
Ingredients: - 2 pounds of Shrimp - 1 Green Bell pepper - 1 Orange bell pepper - 1 Yellow bell pepper - 2 Roma Tomatoes - 1/2 of a big Onion - 8oz of Mushrooms - 1 bottle of Samuel Adams (Boston Ale) - Salt - Medley Peppercorn - Butter - Olive Oil Take off the shell of the Shrimp and take off the puppy of the shrimp out!!! Wash shrimp well.. Put olive Oil and Butter to melt in a Medium High Heat let butter melt.. Cut Bell pepper (all of them) in strips same as the Roma Tomatoes, wait till shrimp is nicely Cook and red!Give it about 20 min let the olive oil and butter consume down add Onions and mushrooms 1st then the peppers and for last the Tomatoes.. let them get caramelize (get Golden) when this is done add the Samuel Adams and let it cook for 5 mins and is done Have some rice and Broccoli for side and you have a nice dinner!!! a few days ago some one asked me what i see when i look in the mirror...............so i thought about it and ........................... when looking in the mirror i don't see Jeff, i know it's sounds crazy but i don't see me. Why Does It Have To Happen?
I don't know why this always happens but it does. you meet someone and things go great for awhile. Then all of the sudden the have family to be with, friends they have been neglecting, and then the big kicker - they are married. I am either the luckiest or unluckiest man alive. I find the best women to be with and then after a few months i find out they are married. Now I'm not saying that i am the best thing out there since sliced bread but im not that bad i don't think. Why cant i find anyone that isn't married and wants me for me and not money. I give my all and then get shot point blank in the chest. I don't think that i am suppose to be happy in life anymore. what do you all think? Is there still love out there or is it just an illusion anymore?
