Lost Love
I started a wonderful relationship last January with the most wonderful guy I had ever met. We hit it off from the begining, wanted the same things, and always there for each other. He moved from Georgia to Detroit so we could be together. We were going to get married, thats how in love we were. Things started going wrong. He couldn't or wouldn't find a job. My Grandfather Passed away today at the age of 92. He was such a wonderful kind man. I'm sad that he is gone, but relieved that he is no longer in pain and at peace now. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the thoughts and prayers to my family. It means alot to me!! ~Jen :)

Sadness And Pain
I don't mean to sound whiney or bitchy or anything but here goes. A few months back i was dumped over a mistake that has also caused me to lose my best friend. I also have been bed ridden and stuck at home thanks to a lack of funds, a vehicle and surgery. on top of this everyone i know has piled their problems on top of mine and im close to the edge. every day i just wanna sleep and sleep and not wake up. sometimes i wonder why i even did. all i seem to feel is pain and hurt and i can't trust people. cause all that seems to happen is i end up getting shafted when i need them. my only solace seems to be in books and playing games. for a brief time i can escape reality for a little while. Fubar In A Nutshell
Ok, so what is Fubar about and what does it mean to me? Here's what I gather IMO: It's a social networking site with many subtle little features to keep ya coming back over and over, possibly at the expense of ur sleep patterns, even ur job if ur clocking in with Fubar on the brain! We find ourselves quickly assimilated into Fubar's competitive culture: rate 10/11, add, fan, level, bling, vote/comment on MUMMs, etc etc and soon we're part of this online rat race to eventually become an 'oracle'....then we continue to hoe ourselves to compete with other oracles to become the best oracle, LOL! Oh, and the angel/demon thing? Meh. Gotta give oracles something to do I guess, the race is aways better than the actual finish line. The way I look at it this life is just a warm up of things that are yet to come. Everybody says that hell is on earth, well I am not going to argue with that philosophy. He passed a few yrs ago.... but I'm glad I had the time I got to spend w/ him and to know him. :) I am like him in some ways, but not going to be like him w/my family. I have had a LOT of friends in and out of my life. I am grateful for ALL of them, no matter they age, how close or far they are to me... they are ALL VERY special to me!! I like to be there for them, and they are for me. I have had some experiences working and being a patient, but i LIKED working better!! I have been through some TRYING times and REALLY good times, but haven't given up. Have wanted to give up a couple times, but .... 2008 didn't start out so well. I remember not being able to find my husband at midnight. I think he had gone back to our house by himself (it was basically a neighborhood free-for-all that night) and found some 19 year old boy to corrupt with bad whiskey. Poor Kid
Just got back from spending three days in the hospital with my son Tommy. He had symptoms of meningitis. Fever, stiff neck. There had been two cases in this county in the past month. Poor kid had to have a spinal tap, IV, blood cultures. Test concluded it wasn't meningitis, just a virus, thank God. Tommy was in a very grumpy mood our last hours there. Not even early Christmas presents could cheer him up. He was all ready to go and we had been waiting for the discharge. Tom was beside me when I signed the paper work and he kicked the nurse! The Monster
Last night I finally came face to face with the monster who has been tormenting my head, thoughts and dreams for oh so many months. The dream began like all the rest. i am not a stranger to cookies. rofl My mom has always made a no bake cookie that she has passed on to me and i think that they are so decadant and yummy. 1 large box of plain graham crackers 1 large packet of coconut 1 large packet of pecans or walnuts (your choice) 1 bag of confectioners sugar one 12 to 16 ounce jar of peanut butter and melted butter mix all ingredients together except for the butter add the butter a little at a time until there is enough to make this mixture hold together when squeezed into a ball shape. make all the balls and then you will need a double boiler in the double add 1 bar of gulf wax its found in the canning section of the grocery store it is used to make the chocolate harden on the balls when they are dipped add 2 large bags of chocolate chips and allow it to melt together with the wax and dip the balls into the chocolate and place on wax paper and allow to harden (about 2 or 3 minutes) it doesn't take long and they are ready to e

Simply Amazed
As I am new to this type of webspace and working hard to understand the ins and outs of what goes on here, I have had the pleasure of meeting some really fantastic folks. Though my internet access is somewhat limited and hard to browse through, I have noted that many of the folks on here have special sections and areas for the troops overseas. As I am one of the troops overseas I want to send out a very heartfelt thankyou to all that have shown us the love and support that we have needed to carry on. Overseas Again

Lost A Friend

Easier Day After Day

Well here is my story my life. I was a wild teenager unlike most. I ran away did drugs partied and never got caught, until one time. Well I guess it was worth it but I did stuff way to young. That was all before I was 17. When I was about 18 I found out I was pregnant with my first child. The father was my high school sweet heart and we were together for a few years. The Rumor
i have a sprint rumor and i used to love it cause of the keyboard. at the time i didnt know there was any problems with it. i had it since august and it worked fine up til november. now i have had it exchanged three times in less than two weeks and they wont even exchange it now cause they couldnt recreate the problem. as soon as i left sprint yesterday it started going to the black screen when i scrolled down my contact list, its really difficult to read my text messages, and it shuts off randomly. so now i have to wait til my hubby calls sprint and talks to them to get me a new phone cause every phone they give me gets worse and worse. there was three people at sprint alone with the same problems as me but yet they tell me that they can only keep exchanging it for the rumor. well that is not going to happen. everything i read online says everyone is having the same issues as me and that LG doesnt see this as a problem. damn sprint

Trapped Emotions
December 15, 2008 at 1:30am I'm sitting here and my mind is a stir, it won't shut down. I just lost my mother and now the family is falling apart. That wasn't that big a shocker. I remember telling mom that she was the only person keeping this family together, once she was gone. I was right. I'm at peace with mom passing, matter of fact I didn't shed a tear at the funeral. Yes I cried at her home when she passed. I had to go outside and I remember leaning on Roses shoulder and it was a very wet and stormy night. Thank God for Rose and her being there, I really needed her. I do love my wife and my kids but some how I've managed to be a poor husband and an even worse father. Anger and rage seems to feel my heart and it has so for some time at the world and even at times with God himself. I've gotten over being angry with him concerning my health. Being born with a bad heart but through his wisdom he has given me many opportunities to bounce back through guided hands of skilled surgeons.

She Showed Up Yo!
so yeah it happend Even though people said all through our relationship that she wouldn't visit, she would care about me, and we wouldn't last.
