Thoughts From A Wandering Mind
I can remember being a little kid (yup), and trying to figure out football...on TV. I watched, mainly when the adults were not changing channels on me. I did not understand it...but i liked it. Anyone know why the fire alarm goes off w/o reason? No smoke ... no fire ... no nothing and they just started screaming. It happened twice in one night a few weeks ago around this very time. Why is it when you get a bag of chips there's always that one "bad" chip. The same goes for sunflower seeds but let's just stick with chips. I'm talking about that one chip wih the awful taste that makes you have to eat like 12 more chips to make that taste go away but that "bad" chip is always near the bottom of the bag so your cramming crumbs in your mouth and/or pouring the remains directly from the bag to your mouth and you chew feverishly because that "bad" chip ruined your otherwise wonderful chip eating experience. In the past 6 months i have been dating someone who i thought was right. We would go out weekly or bi-weekly depending on how the time permits. I work two jobs. She works and goes to school. I guess this is more for a update to those that are close to me. Last week I got a horrorific phone call from one of my sisters. She informed me that one of my other sisters had died. I've been running the same version of DrinkingBuddies 1.0 for years as my primary application, and all the Girlfriend releases have always conflicted with it. Ok, I've never really blogged. Never really needed to. It seems things are changing now. I have this terrible pain in my right knee and hip. I have been to a chiropractor and an orthopedic doctor. I had an xray on the hip and an MRI on the knee - all they could see is "Mild arthritis" - not even anything unusual for my age. The pain comes after being on my feet for just a couple of minutes. It is intense enough that I find myself leaning on anything I can find. Everything else is seemingly fine. I'm at a point where I can't exercise much because it hurts too much. I'm at a total loss. I need to paint and I can barely stand long enough to clean my studio space so I can paint. Fuck. It seems that everything else in my life is going fairly well. The pain ruins it all. I am still having loads of pain in my right hip and knee. The pain of walking is almost as bad as it was before I had the surgery on my other knee in 2000. I can't exercise worth a crap.

Time to get on the soap box. I have read many messages on FUBAR this week about honoring those who serve/have served. It involves showing them love on here, putting together a magazine to send out to Soldiers, etc.. These acts, while noble serve little purpose. The FUBAR stuff is a no brainer, it is a webpage, something to pass time and meet diffeerent people. The magazine will not make it forward of a REMF (ask for clarification) sitting at a desk who has access to all things possible. Instead I ask this of you, go to Atlanta or Dallas (if possible), say thank you to the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines coming off the planes. Get involved with one of many groups who already send things to the troops in harms way. (506th Association will ensure my Soldiers get what you send to them). These past two years have been hard on me and my family. It feels like god is trying to put us threw a series of challenges that almost seem unbearable. I had the day off yesterday so I went to go check my mail on Myspace, I don't really get on as much as I use to because off work and being so tired so it was nice.. I love movies. They are just so fun to watch and they take you away from the craziness of life into a new world. I dont like horror or war movies though on the most part.
