To teach a teenager to drive. Especially a boy. Oh my goosh, i have been trying to teach my son and i realized that by the time i am finish i am going to have to buy more alcohol. Absolutely Disgusted!
In the past 2 days, I've had exactly 5 visitors to my page. And that includes people who rated my pic through the "I'm Bored" section. I have always busted my ass to help people out, and when I had my VIP, I hit almost everyone on my friends list. I only had it for a month, or I would have hit EVERYONE! Tragedy
a tragedy happened in a small town this weekend in Breckenridge, Tx. Late sunday afternoon a 7 yr old little boys was brutally attacked, dismembered and murdered by 3 pit bulls that were supposed to be family pets. Dont ever think for one second that a family pet wont attack and hurt u. Pit Bulls should be outlawed. In the state of Tx. there a numerous attacks weekly and deaths that occur from the animals that are supposed to be a family pet. If u own one of the animals please take into consideration what i am tellin you. This is no joke. These animals are known for the aggresiveness and wont think twice about hurtin or killing. It is in there nature. I have been a friend of this family for sometime now and i hate to have to bury such a young person. I am askin that u keep this family in your prayers in their time of need. What Should I Do
I have been with my girlfriend for 5 long yrs now. we have 2 kids together, a couple of cars, and 2 dogs. Were do good for our selves but were not happy with eachother! Adventure Log 1
We kicked off the 2008 hiking season on our 4th alternate. 1st was up the north ridge of Mary's Peak 2nd was Triangulation Peak 3nd was Opal Creek to Cedar Flats we had to abandon all of the above because of too much snow. we ended up down here in the swamp (W-valley) a few miles outside of corvallis on the Oak Creek trail system. we ended up hiking farther and higher than we had origianlly planned with the first 3 hikes. it was a workout! 6 miles and 2000ft elevation change. I'd like to do Table Rock just as soon as the snow melts, but who knows when that'll be. i may have to look to the coast for the next couple of hikes, Cape Perpetua maybe? Family Fun Day At Cedar Point
Family and I all went to Cedar Point today. The day was very cold up til 1. I had 4 shirts..2 which were thick sweatshirts. Anyways.. was kinda crowded in the seat..being layered down...even more so since I am not no small chic. Anyways..we all had fun. There was a ton of kids there..and also mentally retarded. It was great to see them with smiles on there faces..but I did have a problem with some of the stuff they /or there guardians were doing. There was like 6.. that were wheelchaired bound..with there heads all bent down..and not even knowing what was going on..and they were putting /lifting them into a rollercoaster. How much is to much? i just recentaly lost someone very close to me , he was my uncle king , lost him due to brain cancer at the age of 56. he is survived by 2 daughters and a loving wife , and 5 grand children , 2 in wich he was never able to meet.my kids and my self looked up to him and my girls adored him. we all loved him very much and he will truly be missed , it is hard for my girls , one took it very hard , she is 9 years old and understands about death and it has never really botherd her untill it hit home. i know with faith and prayers our family will get through this . i thank god for ending his suffering and takeing him home , may he be at peace ....... Today I suppose was, as cliche as it sounds, the beginning of the end. In a couple more weeks I will be a full fledged "adult." Legally and sexually I already am. (Especially sexually. Today is one of my favorite days..the friday before memorial day. We have a huge community yardsale..with over 100 people having yardsales. Today, I thought I had a deal.LOL. Oh what fun I am having in my new job at Whole Foods. Its been a little rough trying to get used to the laid-back atmosphere and bureaucracy of being in a corporation...mixed. Especially coming from a small, independent business, but its really smoothing out. Which is allowing me to play and work my smoky art. Our Smokehouse has been breaking records in store and within the Southwest region. We're #1 in brisket sales and after this weekend same for ribs. We have increased the meat departments sales by $10k a week. Encouraging the 2nd under Mackey to visit our department, inquiring to how we are doing it in just 3+ months. Could it be an awesome Djinn working the pit? lol. I find that all amazing, because all of the other venues have greater square footage overall, more employees, and serve beer! Holy Sh!t!
I was recently told by one of my supervisors that I needed to get new uniform shirts and it might be a good idea if I bought new pants as well. This was a little embarrassing to me, because I've never been told my clothes were too BIG before. So, today, before work, I went to the uniform department and went shopping for some new pants, and lo and behold, I lost more weight than I had realized.... I dropped 2 shirt sizes and 4 pants sizes. How is it that it took that much before someone told me I was starting to look a little sloppy? And how is it, when I'm doing nothing different in my life except for the person I'm with, that I've managed to lose that much weight anyway? We're talking AT LEAST 30 lbs here!

I'm gonna do a little bragging about my 18 year old daughter, Miranda. If you ever watch Craig Ferguson and the Late Late Show on CBS, since May 8 Miranda has been featured on the show. She has been able to do a very realistic horse neigh since the 2nd grade, made a little money a couple of years ago doing all of the realistic horse sounds for DIC Entertainment's Horseland on Saturday mornings CBS. Summer School
Well school starts again tomorrow, I only have 2 classes this semester, but they are 16 week classes crammed into 8 weeks. Still need to sort some stuff out. Either I was given the wrong information, or I miss hear it. One of the classes I am taking this semester, might be for someone that is farther along than I am. I guess I will find out soon enough. Also I thought I could take certificate courses for both Funeral Director and Embalmer. But it looks like to take the embalmers class, I need to get my AA degree. No biggy there, just 2 additional electives I hadn't planned on. But the class schedule for those taking the AA degree course is differnt than what I am doing, well at least the classes are in a different order. I don't think that will be an issue. OK - Just an update. Jodie and I are OK, we were on our boat on the river on Sunday 25th May. For everyone wondering why my status is im on painkillers and im in pain and so on this is why.... I was comming outside saturday night after one of these stoves was burning for about 8 hours...I tripped and fell and burned about 50% of my right arm...I went to the hospital and found out i have 2nd degree burns and have to go to a burn treatment center for a few weeks....They said it shouldnt scar too much.....It was the worst pain I ever felt in my entire life...Im praying everything goes well...wish me luck

Camp
Well some of you already know that myself, my sister and my brother have started a non-profit organization. Well back in December we were told about a camp called Camp Janus that works with burn survivors. So we asked for an application to volunteer. We all filled one and and sent them in and i glad to say that we were chosen to go and help out with this camp. We have had an awesome time every time we go to the hospital to give out stuuffed animals and other things to these kids. So we are relly looking forward to going to this camp this weekend. While we are there we have been that there will be a TV network that maybe coming to do a story on the camp. Also there is a game show called YUCK that will be there doing games with the kids so there is a good possibility that we will be on TV. This is definitely an interesting social network. There's alot more going on than at some of the other sites like Myspace or facebook. This seems to be much more interactive. I Was In A Car Accident..i Am So Happy To Be Alive..
i dont really know how to say this...but i am so lucky to be alive.....about 2 1/2 hrs ago i was driving home from work and was in a car accident......i was driving down rt295 coming home from work(i normally drive up rt70 and take the ben franklin) i dont know why i went this way...while i was driving... 3 huge deer were taking up all 3 lanes as they attempted to jog across 6 lanes of the highway... there was no way to avoid them at all...swerve to the left...i hit a deer.. swerve to the right...deer...straight ahead....deer...i had no time to blink..think...so i hit the center deer head on ...the impact nearly haulted my car so i try to pull over....the deer finally broke away from the front of my car and lay there in the highway...car after car..kept hitting this same deer and it kept flying in the air inching closer and closer to my car...at this point...i am scared to death..so i try to pull up more...two cars pulled over after they hit the same deer..one girl pulled over and star

Drama - I Thought We Were Adults Here?
You know, I'm new here. I clicked on the bored area to see what was there. I was given some pictures to rate. No big deal. I go through, rate, say hi and leave a nice message. I have people now rating me a 1 and then blocking me. I don't get it. what did I miss? I don't rate anyone as a 1. So, I guess this place is really like a bar. It's all about pretty people. If you don't get a 10 from every person who sees your picture etc., I guess you have to berate them, rate their profile as 1 and then block them. If this is what the truth is here then it's no different than when i went to a bar when I was 18, a bunch of superficial bull sh*t, no one is real. BTW that was well over 24 years ago. Closure
On May 17, 2007, a dear friend of mine died of Lung Cancer. I did not learn of her passing until many months later nor did I even know she had been sick. We had drifted apart in life, as friends sometimes do. It had always been my intention to reunite...but as it often happens...life gets in the way. When I got married, she was a bridesmaid...when she married I was a bridesmaid for her as well. She went off to grad school and became a Pullitzer Prize winning journalist and a professor at Columbia University... I went to grad school and got my MBA and had three children. She got divorced--but never called to tell me she was even having marital troubles... I found out after 9-11 after I called to make sure she was okay as she lived in the city... We stayed in touch for a little while but then I lost my job and had to turn in my work computer and I lost her email address...stupid things.... Over the years I would google her stories in the newspaper she wrote for...to keep tabs on
