Let me get straight to the point of this post: I find it difficult when people come with an image, obviously pulled from the internet, and want an exact tattoo of it. I almost feel weird admitting this: I download music and TV shows from the internet for free - thank you usenet - but I balk when somebody wants an image recreated. Here's the thing, I have less of an issue with turning a photograph or series of photographs into a custom piece. That's no problem. But when somebody comes in with a piece of art that has been pulled directly from, say, DeviantArt, I sort of feel bad. Then I get over it and go about my business. *Often I'll make a point to contact the original creator of the piece. I don't ask for permission though, I just tell them about the finished product. Down The Rabbit Hole
after recovering from the most vile non-fatal form of plague known to mankind, i had a day off work today in which i actually felt well enough to get off my arse and do something constructive. so, i made my first ever batch of challah. real from scratch, no box, no bread machine, hand-mixed, hand kneaded, hand-braided challah. 4 and a half hours and 34 steps later i am now the proud maker of two gorgeous, delicious double braided loaves of challah. one traditionally topped with poppy seeds and one with cinnamon sugar. yum! there is no more lovely smell than the smell of that stuff baking. and i didn’t catch anything on fire! :P i am so proud of myself it’s ridiculous. i even took pictures and emailed them off to israel so rabbi josh could see my handiwork. now, i am off to enjoy another slice of fabulous, fluffy, golden baked heaven. carbs be damned, i earned a little indulgence for all that effort.

Down The Rabbit Hole
So at my weekly therapy session and saw the psychiatrist to discuss my current meds and talked about penguins for 45 minutes. (This man is a literal genius but has NOOOOOOOOOOO interpersonal skills what so ever.) Any who, he left me on 120mg of Cymbalta but added 5mg of Valium twice a day. Now I normally have a very high tolerance when it comes to narcotics but this stuff is kicking my ass. I haven't been able to drive for a week because I almost totaled the truck because I was seeing 2 cars in the on coming lane. On to some better news though, I have been trying for almost 2 years to get on disability due to my severe mirgainrs and depression/anxiety. I got my letter yesterday stating my hearing is in April. So hopefully things will go my way because lord knows we could use the extra cash, and I only plan to spend a small amount on strippers and blow. Just kidding.........maybe ;)
