I can honestly say I feel empty inside. I have never thought I would have to walk away from my father and say goodbye forever at such a young age. It was a unexpected thing. The Stuff In My Head.....
Well I know I am not a great writer of this but here goes. Looking around at the world the last little while, I have had a little more growth. My parents were here for a visit two weeks ago my first time I have seen them in a year because of the work I do and the distance between us. I have come to realize I truly miss them. It was not more then five minutes out the door off to my office and it hit me. A new chapter in life has started. During this time I must thank everyone out here for making me godfather. I never thought I was going to get there, but I did with all the support of my friends old and new that helped me get there. Asparagus-Romano Frittata 12 large eggs 3/4 cup freshly grated Romano Cheese 1/2 cup whole milk Salt and Pepper` 1 tablespoon butter 1 pound asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In medium bowl, whisk eggs, Romano cheese, milk, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. In a nonstick 12-inch skillet with oven-proof handle, melt butter over medium-high heat. Stir in asparagus and 1/4 teaspoon salt; cook 4 minutes. Add onions; cook 2 minutes, stirring often. Spread vegetable mixture evenly in skillet. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour egg mixture into skillet; cook 4 to 5 minutes, without stirring, until egg mixture sets around edge. Place skillet in oven; bake 9 to 10 minutes or until set. Today is Veterans Day. A day set aside to take the time to honor the patriotism, courage and sacrifice of our armed forces. For all those past and present who dedicate their lives defending the freedoms of our country. I'm not sure exactly how to express my gratitude to these selfless men and women. Monthly for the last 23 months I have sent off and brought home plane after plane of soldiers returning from overseas. Yet I still don't know how to properly say thank you. When a plane deploys the soldiers walk in single file line thru a line of cheering USO and Red Cross volunteers. At the end of the line are two American flags. I recently saw a soldier walk past the flag turn around come back and kiss the flag. This happened to be the same soldier who had earlier in the day told me he didn't mind going overseas. Polyamory Vs Swing Lifestyle
I have been giving this subject matter (a debate actually) some thought, given I am active in both lifestyles; Polyamory and the Swing Lifestyle. I think that sometimes there is some confusion when vanilla (a term used for those NOT participating in the lifestyle) people ask me about either of the lifestyles because they will ask me questions about polyamory and the questions lean toward swing. The Creation
Well lets see i can always go with the "it wasa dark and stormy day" routine but i won't...that day was like all the rest boreing and lifeless i guess you may say. Watching The Sun Rise Again...
Maybe this whole, not being able to sleep thing has it's perks. The days seems to be blending in together. And I get silly. I get moments where, I can actually lay my head down and sleep for, say, seven hours. But, that happens like once a week. Sleeping pills I might take when I really feel sick from not sleeping. I don't want to be dependent on a pil, it's just not my style. I mean I used to be able to sleep on my own, what happened? Everyone asks me why I can't sleep, like I have an answer, if I did have an answer, don't you think I would have solved this problem? One day bleeds into the next, but I function. Roping A Deer
Actual letter from someone who farms, writes well and tried this! I had this idea that I was going to rope a deer, put it in a stall, feed it up on corn for a couple of weeks, then kill it and eat it. The first step in this adventure was getting a deer. I figured that, since they congregate at my cattle feeder and do not seem to have much fear of me when we are there (a bold one will sometimes come right up and sniff at the bags of feed while I am in the back of the truck not 4 feet away), it should not be difficult to rope one, get up to it and toss a bag over its head (to calm it down) then hog tie it and transport it home. I filled the cattle feeder then hid down at the end with my rope. The cattle, having seen the roping thing before, stayed well back. They were not having any of it. After about 20 minutes, my deer showed up -- 3 of them. I picked out....a likely looking one, stepped out from the end of the feeder, and threw my rope. The deer just stood there and

Just A Quickie
Just a quickie to let people know whats going on in my life... All of you know the MAJOR problems I have had with the car since I got it in November. When I get down I remember the first part of this year and smile. I thought things couldn't get worse then, and I was right, or my friends were right, in the end. Weekend Trip To The Raptor Center
Late, but here it is. Adam and I went to the Raptor Center this weekend, and got out in nature for the first time together. It was great! I always prefer to be around trees instead of concrete, and it was great to experience it together. Another thing that we have in common is the fact that we both love being outside. I love climbing around on the rocks, hiking and breathing in more fresh air than you can find here in town. We went around and saw the birds first, and then made our way down to the lake and climbed the rocks around the lake. We found some great fossils, but unfortunately I forgot the few that I was going to bring home. (Oh well, I can find even more the next time I go!) Then, I started to take pictures. So, we made our way back around the cages and down to the bird watching station. Not only did we see some pretty birds, but saw a momma deer and two babies. Deer are such pretty creatures. The pictures that I took are in my albums, have a look!
