Well I've been in Cherry tap now for about 3 weeks. I've entered a contest, made a bunch of fans, friends and few family members. Enjoying it every time I log in and play around for a while. To all my cherry tap ladies thanks for the privilege of viewing your photos on all parts of your web pages. The main thing about me is this, yeah I can play the game of rate,fan 10 as it goes in here. But you might notice one little difference I just don't go rate the first picture I see, thats too easy and too simple. Anyone can do that. So here in a nutshell is what I'm like on cherry tap. I have answered questionaires and come across the question. How many friends do you have? or Who is your best friend? I have a hard time answering these questions. I guess I have friends. Friends are just that friends. That is not very clear is it... Friends are just aquaintances that you know. You may have friends from work. Co-workers. Ok that defindes friends. Kinda sad to see some friends cutting back on their CT activities and some leaving because of the drama here. I almost left a few times, have cut back my time. The drama was one thing. But why should I let others keep me from having fun here? I've cut back some time to enjoy the real world more.. that and to try and get work done... and the house was getting dirty.. and the laundry needed to be done so I had clean boxers. :) Don't leave because of the drama others cause, or because they use fake pics, or because they beg for points. I was told a few weeks ago that online communities are addicting. I was skeptic till the other day I found a familiar face. And now I find myself searching for all the familiar faces in my life. A Friend's Passing
Hi all, I have just learned of our dear friend and family member James Graham, also known as Junior, passed away this weekend. He was suffering from emphysema, had been on oxygen full time and had just suffered a mild heart attack last month. He was 78 at his passing. He was more then a friend, he was also a father, and grandfather to all of us. He was there for both of our son's births and had helped us move multiple times over the years. He and Darryl would go fishing, and drinking together, as a guys night out. He will be truly missed. Since he was cremated and laid to rest with family members only, we will be having a memorial service for him this weekend. I would appreciate it if you would keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Well I have been on an emotional high finding old friends. Being a military brat we moved so finding old friends means alot to me. Finding and sorting out family has been fun for me and my daughter as well. One of my friends from work asked me today if I was ok that I have seemed more sad lately, which I didn't realize I was. Well I guess she was right though. My best friend Amy came out here for a few days (first person from Oregon to visit)- it was hard for her to leave today. Her being here was great and I was able to let go and be myself. It was nice. Moving to Maine has been hard on finding new people that I really trust, there are so few anymore. Interesting commentary ... not sure how to take it. Seems most see it as a good thing, some see it as a bad thing. Definitely outside the scope of my generational dynamic when I was of age and free back in the 70s and 80s. It was all about "love and commitment" with no room for the admittance of casual sex. Mind you I did say admittance. It was there, but they were oh so "in love" for as long as it took to fuck for a few hours once a week or so. Still ... beyond the scope of my experience to give any kind of definitive answer. I think the "Friends with benefits" conceptually has arisen because we are in a society which is generally insecure on safety issues and people are not driven, or motivated, to make long lasting ties due to a general social instability.

Friends...there are many MANY definitions for that word. But have we ever really thought about it. I mean come on...We go to our friends when we are hurting (couselor) we go to our friends to hang out (buddy) shopping (lmfao what can I say)...and so on and so forth. but have you really ever thought about what you think of your friends or whar your friends think of you. I see myself sometimes and wonder how the hell my friends put up with my shit. Perhaps the whole fascination with Myspace and CT have confused some people on the idea or definition of "friends". That is my definition, you may have your own. If I work with you, or know you in passing sorry you are an acquaintance. I try not to be friends with my co-workers due to the fact that I want time away from work, and to not be reminded of it. Fried Turkey
1 (10-pound) turkey 2 tablespoons seasoning of choice 2 tablespoons of your favorite dry rub 3 to 5 gallons peanut oil Cooks Note: To measure the amount of oil needed to fry the turkey, place turkey in fryer, add water to top of turkey, remove the turkey and the water line will indicate how much oil will be needed to fry your turkey. Having too much oil can cause a fire. The pot should not be more than 3/4 full or the oil could overflow when the turkey is added. Wash bird inside and out, and allow to drain. Rub turkey all over with seasoning. Coat turkey with dry rub. Allow the bird to sit until it reaches room temperature. Heat peanut oil in a turkey fryer or a very, very large stockpot to 350 degrees F. Lower turkey into hot oil, very carefully, making sure it is fully submerged. Fry turkey for 3 minutes per pound plus 5 minutes per bird. Remove turkey from oil and drain on paper towels.

Friends are something you can never put a price to.. they are worth more than any possession you may have. I worry when I lose one. I never give up easily.. and fight to keep it. Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each looks like every other horse. OK. I repost bulletins, put up nice ones to Mothers, Fathers, and other things like that. Rarely are mine read. I am beginning to think that my so-called "friends" in my network are not really as such. I rate people and am VERY nice about it all. Some are super nice back, but most are really kinda not. Am I hideous? I didn't think so. Always been told I was on the prettier side. So I know I'm not too bad to look at. And I know I am a nice person. Just confused about it all. Yesterday was the funeral for Joyce's mom.....everyone did great and the funeral was beautiful....one of her mom's dying wish was that noone be upset but happy for her because she is in a better place ....actually she said over the past few weeks she wanted to die because she knew she would no longer be suffering....(she was ready for it).....the funeral was an experience for me since i have never been to a catholic funeral or mass of any sort....

Ok, this isn't my usual poem or story, this is a gripe session. What is it with all these people who call themselves friends? Out of the 696 friends that are on my friends list there have been 12 that have come and rated my pic, and commented on it for the contest that i am in.
