I loved being a mom and tried hard to be a good one. I am sure i made some mistakes along the way but I did try. In 2000, I was blessed with a wonderful granddaughter who has been the light of my life. She is smart and full of a loving spirit. July 2, 2206 I was blessed with a new grandson, born 5 weeks to early. He has spend some time in nicu but he is a strong spirit like his big sister. He is making progress everyday. I cant wait to see him come home and I can spoil him rotten.... HEY its MY JOB....lol Mom and Dad do the discipline, I DO THE SPOILING....heheheh I ask only for prayers that he will grow strong and come home to us soon.

Three people accused of failing to care for an infant who starved to death in Waterford had their cases sent to trial today. The charges against the father and maternal grandfather of the victim, 7-month-old Nathan Rosier Jr., were ordered held for trial after a 75-minute preliminary hearing that ended about 12:20 p.m. before District Judge James Dwyer of Summit Township. The mother waived all the charges over to trial prior to the hearing. Dwyer rejected the defense arguments that the father and grandfather were not legally responsible for the care of the baby. New Altar Room Almost Finished
(Originally Posted on August 4, 2006)Two nights ago, I got a king-sized, black flat sheet from Wal-Mart. I am planning on using it as the fourth wall where the altar will be. I took an old ethernet cord the dogs had chewed through and will use that to hold the sheet up.I got to thinking that it'd really be nice to have a Baphomet symbol embroidered/painted/etc on the sheet. Unfortunately I don't know quite where to get this done and my artistic skills are not too hot. I might do it anyway, maybe by gluing pieces of felt to make the pattern or something.Another thing I'd like to do is to put a few grommets into the sheet. That way, there'd be less of a chance of the sheet getting messing up by hanging it up.Also, I wonder how popular Satanic cross-stich patterns would be. i just wanted to give everyone a heads-up: this afternoon, or maybe tomorrow morning, we're going to turn on a new album gallery page (when you're looking at other peoples galleries) and also a new page that shows the main/large photos. they look a lot different, but we tried to make them much more functional and intuitive. for example, you'll see more previous/next thumbnails instead of one of each. you'll also be able to navigate into different albums from the fullsize image page instead of going back to the gallery listing each time. we've also tried to move the main photo up higher on the page, so you don't have to scroll down as much to get an idea what it is. stay tuned.... :-) EDIT: the new pages are live! i just realized we forgot to include the 'link to photo' option on the new page. have no fear, it'll be back tomorrow. The New And Improved Model Of S.p.g
Well, as some of you may have noticed,there's been some changes around here.My name isnt exactly in lights but its definitely blue. This VIP thing is pretty cool actually.I can finally pay back all those nice folks that gave me 11's and those cool VIP gifts. There are a few things I have noticed though,for instance,some people now actually come and talk to me now. People that never knew I existed when I was in the grey font now actually come say hi. New Addiction
When I close my eyes I see his face and it comforts me. I can still hear his heart pounding in my head and it soothes my soul. New Addition To The Family.
There is this 15 year old boy that my niece is friends with and has been friends with since they were seven years old. The boy's father is dieing and they only give him 6-9 more months. The mother is not in the picture anywhere(it's for the best) the step-mom is nowhere to be found. They are talking about putting him in foster care, my sister and brother in law are talking about adopting him so that he won't have to go into foster care. I really think it would be a great thing for him. He is a really good kid and he is already working a weekend job at a construction place. He is doing all he can to get by now. So I will be having a new addition to my family in the form of a 15 year old nephew named Nathan.

Look in my Family Photo Album and you will meet our new addition, Shelby Lynn. She is about 2 months old but we can't be 100% sure as she is under weight. There was a drug bust 3 doors down from us and one the kids came over to get me. I swore up and down I wouldn't take the pup. New Auction: A Little Different This Time Around
I'm thinking of doing something a little different for the next auction I host. I'm thinking of doing a silent auction where all bids would be sent to me by private message instead of posted as comments that way you would have to bid the max you'd be willing to pay to own the person but that would also mean everyone would have to offer the most they'd be willing to offer up front to try to get the best bids possible. The New Addition

Growing up i was always told stories of getting older working hard going to school/military coming out and making somehing good of your life. this might be my new motto when I get back. My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow so I will be gone for a little bit. A New Begining
Well, here I am now, on Lost Cherry. Why? Hmm, good question. I don't like LJ... Myspace has become Adspace, and well the people here all seem a bit more... accepting. I like acceptance. Intolerance is one of the few things in this world that truly bothers me on a regular basis. I have yet to get a 'bad' comment here, nor anyone being anything but kind and gracious. What I like here as well is a broader sense of freedom. Far more pictures allows one to show so many different sides of themselves. New Beginnings
So with the great life changing event of Katrina and the recent coming of Rosh Hashanah ( god I hope I spelled it right, I'd be such a bad jew if I didn't) I think it's appropriate to start documenting what's going on with me. Kinda like a New Year's re[s/v]olution. Also I'm killing time on a Saturday with absolutely nothing to do in the small town of La Place, LA. I mean, I guess I could be cruising the aisles of WalMart, but (not to sound self righteous) I might be a little above that. I travelled into New Orleans last weekend for the first time since Katrina to check out my apartment and see the city with my own eyes. I expected a mess, but I was overwhelmed with the vast devestation that I saw. The radio broadcasters had been declaring that incredible amounts of clean up that had already occurred, but debris still lines the streets, billboards are shredded, and house are in ruins.
