Needing Prayers
I have found out today that my grandma isnt doin well.. they have found cancer in her kidneys an its spreading and because of her age and because of her health they dont know if she will be able to handle surgery.. My grandma is like a second mom to me so it pains me to see her in so much pain and hurtin from everythin she has been goin through over the years.. The following is a real situation i have to deal with, and I know what I am going to say to the room mate, but I figure I can get some ideas and advice from you fine people, as out spoken as you are. I am having some issues concerning my room mate, who has a son and a daughter living here. There are 5 kids in the house at least half the time, 3 of which arent mine. Why is it in our society that when someone does something good or bad that they only time you ever hear anything is when the screw it up. I always enjoy the very general dichotomy of positives and negatives, and the ensuing discussion if for no other reason than mostly anyone can understand it immediately, and most people can effectively participate regardless of their philosophical backround. I've always wondered to myself, how can a negative really be a negative? I mean think about this, if something bad happens doesn't something good usually come out of it? For example, you stub your toe as a child you get the love and attention ( and possibly a lollipop ) from your mother or father. Canada will send six athletes to the sixth and last stop on the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Miyagi, Japan. The 2012 NHK Trophy will take place from November 23-25, 2012, at the Sekisui Heim Super Arena. Canada will have a total of four entries in three disciplines: two in mens, one in pair, and one in ice dance. Kevin Reynolds of Coquitlam, B.C., will be one of two Canadian entries in mens. The 22-year-old Reynolds has previously competed at this event in 2008, placing fourth. This will be his second grand prix assignment of the season, having already earned fifth place at the Cup of China. He also placed fourth this season at the Ondrej Nepela Trophy, a senior international competition. Reynolds is coached by Joanne McLeod at the BC Centre of Excellence. 19-year-old Andrei Rogozine of Richmond Hill, Ont., will also complete in mens for Canada. Nephews And Fishing
My brother and I took two of my nephews out fishing Saturday. They stayed with us on the boat for about an hour and a half, very good for 3 & 4 years old I'd say. It wasn't the easiest day to fish with the boys because the wind had the water a little choppy, so their bobber looked for all the world like it was on the move. But TC caught the first fish: a huge (6") bluegill. Now you have to understand, these two brothers are very competitive! Jackson immediately started to get upset. HE wanted a fish too! In about ten seconds it went from bad to worse as he started to cry. My brother is a master of dealing with his two boys though (probably because he and I weren't so different when we were kids). He dropped that fish back in the water on the other side of the boat still attacked to the line and said, "Jackson you've got one too!" The deception worked really good for Jackson who then pulled the fish out of the water. TC was confused for a few seconds: where did his fish go? My bro
