My Accident
As most of you know I was in a severe car accident last November. I was hit by a semi. I had alot of injuries. I had broke my left arm and leg upper and lower part of them, I broke my pelvis in 6 to 8 places, I had internal bleeding, spleen and liver laceration. I had bruised ribs, I had a massive wound on my left hip that required me to have a wound vac for 8 months. It had to be changed three times a week that was a pain cause it hurt. It was caused by a corn stalk getting stuck up my hip when I was thrown 10 feet from my car. They took skin from both my thighs to put on my left hip. It did not take in the beginning but when they did it later on in I think it was February it worked. My thighs will never tan again oh well. I am alive. I was on a ventilator, and I had a trake. I had all sorts of tubes a gtube which is a feeding tube up your nose, I had a tube for pain meds and regular meds, one for the blood they were trying to give me since I had lost so much, and more tubes. I realize I am late on this note but I am on the bus bored, so I thought I would wright a note. As some of you know I have gone back to college. I am on my fourth class and I am loving it so far. I am going through the University of Pheonix. I am taking it online one course at a time. The classes last five weeks. I am going for computers. I am so glad I decided to go back to school. I can concentrate on one course at a time which for me is better that way. My grades are still not the best but I am getting better. I have met some nice people since I started. Advice From My Friends?
So, I'm wondering if any of you have experience with Mixed families - if not, maybe some of you are parents of children in "broken" homes....and that might be enough experience to help me figure out something. Labor Day 2009
Last night around 11pm or so I recieved a text message from my baby sister letting me know my Uncle had been involved in a motorcycle accident and was in the hospital. The doctors called the family in due to his critical condition. He has head trauma, bleeding on the brain, a collapsed left lung, several broken ribs, along with several cuts and bruises. They have him on a ventilator and are giving him propofol to keep him sedated. I went back to see him and was shocked at the way he looked. In case you haven't read my Labor Day 2009 blog here is the just of the situation. My uncle was involved in a motorcycle accident Monday while doing a poker run. He received serious head trauma, a collapsed left lung, broken ribs, scraps, bruises, a broken nose, two black eyes, a ventilator to help him breathe and a severe brain bleed. As of last night, the doctors have informed us there is nothing else they can physically do to help him. The swelling and bleeding in his brain is getting worse. Even if by some miracle the swelling were to go down, he would have permenant and severe brain damage that would require 24/7 nursing care. The ventilator is keeping him breathing, without it he wouldn't be able to do it himself. His left pupil is dilated and fixed which indicates the severity of the brain damage. The doctors are planning to re-examine him this morning and discuss options with his daughter and son who are 24 and 21. They have decided they will take him off the vent if no prog

9/11/01. We all know the date. We all know what it means. It's our generations version of Pearl Harbor. A day that will live in infamy. I remeber that day every day of my life. I was in freshman year of high school. I remember our superintendant telling the teachers to turn on CNN. When we all saw it, it was surreal to say the least. My godmother worked there. She was on the 67th floor in the first tower that collapsed. We tried to call all day. Nothing. Three weeks, nothing. Finally, her son told us she was found. That feeling made my heart literally collapse. She was my second mother, for lack of a better term. I have nightmares to this day of thst day. I would have had them even if she wasn't in there. The tragedy that occured on September 11, 2001 is one of the worst ever experienced by this generation! Many men and women lost their lives when the World Trade Center collapsed, and many more during the rescue and the aftermath. it is time to stop feeling sorry for my self and grow up get the things i need and now want i need a car i need my own place im not a kid any more im going to be 29 next month on the 20th and for the last 5 years i have been lazy and just buying things i want. i have been feeling sorry and unhappy for to long now change will be good for me

GOODBYE I don’t really want to say goodbye I don’t really want to go Life has pulled us in separate ways the uphill fight goes slow time has passed and feelings lost the love has faded into fights "just show up" is often heard to me that sounds so absurd Ive never heard such empty words for one more fight? for just more tears? closeness wont bring back the years I smile and hold back the tears cus emo bitch rings in my ears. I pass my days and block you out and focus my thoughts on her not doing without she smiles so big with hopes and dreams not seeing mommy cry is the important thing I will go on, this too will pass we all will learn from our past.
