Speed Interview!!

LOL... Although my interview was comprised of a full 30 minutes, I never before in my life have felt so very rushed. :) As soon as I arrived (early), I was given a packet of information to read and review. Sat down for a few moments to read through it all and door opens to the waiting room -- "Kathryn??" I look up and respond by stating, "Yes!"...then I was wisked through a maze of hallways and locked doors with special keying sequences to a very back conference room where another lady sat. This is "L...."... (about all that I heard at the moment b/c I was catching my breath from chasing her down the maze of hallways!!)... A brief explanation of the job description and expectations. Then we went through some questions and answers period where they wrote down my answers to all the questions I responding to. Reading their writings upside down, I take note that they aren't writing verbatim but catching key words and phrases down. Any questions??? (My mind is racing from answering all the questions that they had asked of me. Plus, I am familiar with the roles that I would be doing as I have been in the field for more than 15-20 years.) I began by stating, "No, not really, but...." and then summarized my experiences and how I thought I would be a best fit for the job opportunity at hand. She turns to "L...." and asks her if she has any questions for me (after passing her a note that she had to run off to another interview). What could "L...." say, but "No"??? She asked me to complete the signing of the forms packet I was given when I arrived and give them to the receptionist after I had a chance to finish reading them. Told her that I really had a chance to read through them and could sign them now (so I did very, very quickly)!! When we were done, I was wisked down other hallways on her way to another interview in another conference room on the way out of the building. On the way to the door to the lobby, she hollers at me, "Don't forget to sign those forms and give them to the receptionist." The look on my face must have been priceless as I gazed back at her... and she added, "Oh, never mind. You just did that, didn't you???" As I exit out the lobby door and head out the building door, I am thinking to myself, that was the fastest, whirlwind interview I have had in my lifetime. I don't know whether that was a good sign or not. We shall see!!!!
