Chrissy in CT's blog: "New Beginnings...."

I just wanted to share this via a blog because it was something that absolutely made my day today! After going through living hell for the past year and a half almost and its most certainly not over, things are slowly but surely turning around. As you read this email im gonna post I know some of my detractors on here will laugh at the amount I will be paid for this shoot but then again they don't understand the significance behind it or the premise of what I'm trying to do. Ya gotta start somewhere right? The coup here is if i get this job modeling the 2007 spring line for Bellacurves is not the money at all. It is the opportunity to actually do it and have other doors of opportunity open up. Ive struggled most of my life but am so hopeful that 2007 is gonna be my year to shine in all aspects of life. Money is not everything but it sure helps, friends and people I love im the wealthiest woman i know. I intend to have some fun with this and who knows? Ya may see me somewhere else besides Cherry Tap for a change lol! Luv you guys! Chrissy

As most of you know and if not you will now, I have picked up my life and moved it across the country from Texas back to Connecticut. Life was very difficult for me in 2006 and as 2007 unfolds it is not that much easier just full of more promise than before. Its much easier to make money here in the East. More jobs, more money but also more expensive in some ways less in others. Knowing myself as I do I know I will figure all that out but I wanted to share with you all something I find both exciting and new happening in my life. When i came to Cherry Tap I had many pics. Mostly webcam shots nothing of any quality. I was very nervous as some will attest to about putting some of them up and in some cases it took a "I'm just gonna do it attitude" while I cringed and waited for the reaction. To my utter shock you liked them! lol. I then got a real camera and started really working on taking quality photos. Im getting much better at it or at least i think so. My dear friend on here Jonel encouraged me to submit my photos to a site called onemodelplace.com as did several other photographer friends here on Cherry Tap. I hesitated because being almost 45 and not a small woman i figured "Who the hell wants to take pictures of me" or "Who would hire me". Right before I left Texas i finally got the courage to open an account there. You will find the link to it on my main profile page. To my utter surprise and amazement I got 12 referrals the first day, and just today, scheduled 3 shoots for the next week, one paid even! The purpose of this blog is not to tout myself but to speak to the women here about self esteem, self confidence and believing in oneself. I am truly not perfection here. Im a butterball, 45 year old mom but I believe in who and what I am. Im real, attractive, funny and project my personality in my photos. Perhaps thats the attraction, moreover than tits and ass. BBW's are in demand girls take note. Dont think because you are chubby or what not that you cannot stake a claim in this market. Here is my thought on it all. If nothing else from all this i will have 3 cd's of professionally taken photo's (150 per cd) that i would have had to pay and arm and leg for otherwise. If someone sees them and likes them and i get work from it that would be icing on the cake but if not i have some wonderful images to keep and share with you all too. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! IF YOU DON'T...KNOW ONE ELSE WILL! I love you all! Chrissy
