People have been asking, "Say, Timmy, what are your New Year's Resolutions?" Well stop your bitchin, here they are. - Finish my book “Shorliner” - Research what part of the chicken McNuggets come from. - Hone my photography skills to the point of being successful. - Write a screenplay for a Broadway musical based on Theory of a Deadman’s “Bad Girlfriend” - Dispel all those rumors about me terrorizing circus clowns. - Discover a true hairstyle - I want to develop a personal policy for handling that stupid conversation starting question, “You been behaving?” Because honestly, it’s just too probing for me to answer. - I should stop making so much fun of people. I do that too much. Not you people here at DA, as far as you know. - I’m going to do everything I can to encourage young people. If they accomplish something, I’m going to say, “You just got lucky”. That way they develop a good, lucky feeling about themselves. - Laugh more, complain less.

I would sure love to see Smitten reach godfather soon. She's one of the coolest people who has been here since the lost cherry days. She has the funniest collection of lolcatz pics ever! Please show her some love! ~Smitten™~

Several years ago I met a young couple, just married, who started hanging out in some of the places I do. Misty and Robert. I was just playing around with my camera, taking dozens of pics like I have every day since entering the digital age of the art, and I snapped a pic of them. I put the pic along with a hundred others in a folder and pretty much forgot about it. About a year ago Robert asked me about the pic. He said he and Misty didn't have any pics of them together as a couple and wanted a copy of it. I could not recall taking a pic of them, but I promised I would look in my files for it. I sometimes take 300 photos a day and don't remember many of them. Six months ago I ran into Robert again. He and Misty had just had a baby, their second together, expanding their family to seven members. I can't imagine having five kids! That must be a lot of fun. He asked me again about the photo, and as is typical of me it had slipped my mind to look for it. Five months ago I was looking for a photo and ran across the one of Misty and Robert. For a snapshot, it was not bad at all. The two were sitting across a table from me, facing each other, holding hands, looking at me and smiling. They looked happy. I was excited to run across it and fixed it up suitable for framing. Four months ago I ran into Misty and Robert again. I told them I found the photo and would print it out and give them an 8x10...just as soon as I got some ink for my printer. A week ago, Robert's car struck another head on and he was killed. Tonight I ran into Misty and she asked me once again if I could print her out a copy of the photo.
