THIER GIFT
The darkness of the room
did match her trembling soul,
with fear she entered in.
His voice, so gentle
and with firm conviction
gave her courage to enter in.
His touch, warm, alive
did awaken in her
feelings she oft did hide.
His eyes were warm and tender
but he knew he'd be obeyed,
"Welcome my pet"
He gently lifted her face
to look at him
"Always look me in the eye"
"For we are part, each of us
part of a single whole.
Equals, and lovers"
He kissed her then,
and she could see
the hope in his dark eyes.
Her heart did soar
at knowledge gained,
of how each will give.
For now she knew
with certainty,
that her gift was not alone.
For he would guide and
protect her, through all
their time as one.
And she would complete
his life and love,
as only she could do.
His hands, so gentle
and so firm,
directed her to her tasks.
And his eyes gave wonderous
eloquence
to the love he had inside.
Now who should judge
this love, this match
when two have given so.
And who shall have
a heart so full
and know of love sublime.
Her gift to him
of all of her was matched
by his, of him.
She looked at his eyes
and spoke,
"Yes Master" with a smile.
And he looking down
into her soul replied,
"Yes my Lady" and smiled.
They share a love
of each and THEM
that no other will ever know.
They share a bond
they have each sworn,
that no other can ever know.
Rejoice oh heart
that can be loved
and share such joy complete.
And all ye who
have yet to find
search until it is yours.
For here is love
as 'twas meant to be
and shall be shared by two.
When Lord and Lady
two as one
Shall walk, the night through
