Have you ever met someone whose very touch was electricity? I'm lucky; I've met two. The first was my late husband Gus. When we first met we both knew instantly that we had loved each other before, in other lives. The first time we touched in this life was like coming into contact with a downed power line! We both felt it, and looked at each other startled, reading the thought in each others minds "Did you Feel that too?!" Gus was the love of my life, he died in my arms almost three years ago from a rare liver disease when he was only 41 years old. Gus was a gifted healer who could take pain off people just by putting his hands on them. I know, because he did it for me. His touch was to me like nothing I had ever experienced, and certainly nothing I ever expect to find again.
THE TOUCH OF YOUR HANDS I savor the moment you led me to the Sea Silently your hand you offered me Lending me your quiet might We walked together in the night Hands of leather Touched me like a feather Then strong and firm again At your command Your touch started a fire Smoldering under my skin You surprised me And I let you in I close my eyes And see your blue blue eyes Thinking of your handsome bearded face I long for your embrace By ALBĀ 12/16/2008
