The chill of the morning air, picking out clothes, packing the lunch, being sure everything is in the back pack. Oh, yes, I love the first day of school.
Today started another year of school for my daughter. She is in the first grade this year. I am so proud of her. She is such a good kid and so very smart.
Our day started at 6AM. She was up and completely ready to go by 6:15. Unfortantly this won't last. By this time next week, she will be fighting me about getting out of bed to go to school. But since it is the first day, she was very easy to get going. She missed her friends.
I hope that she had a good day and that she will continue to love school like she does now. That will make my life a lot easier.
