I was perving on the pics on here, (as we do), and saw a few pics of sunrises or sunsets, and the start of this came to mind... I'm gettin' kinda slow, though, this took me an hour to put together:(
Sunrise o'er the ocean,
I'm feeling the spring breeze
My body makes no motion,
As my mind's across the seas
It's searching for the woman,
That will bring me to my knees
Not with painful emotion,
'Cos that, my friend, she'll ease
But with her sweet devotion,
And the way she likes to please
Sunrise o'er the ocean,
I feel the Summer heat
In my heart I have a notion,
At last, I've found her. Sweet!
She lives across that ocean,
So how are we to meet?
In my mind there is commotion,
This problem I must beat
Sunset o'er the ocean,
In autumn's colours I do stand
With the strength of our devotion,
A solution came to hand
I sail across that ocean,
I work as a deck-hand
I don't want a promotion,
'Cos on the dock she stands
Sunset o'er the ocean,
I feel the winter's chill
When lust is your emotion,
It becomes a short-lived thrill
She made a deadly potion,
And me she then did kill
Didn't she make a commotion!
She wasn't in the will.
