Let our souls unite in a passionate flight
Let me be your slave for your ev'ry delight
I'll travel the world for your ev'ry desire
For you I'll do this 'til hell has no fire
To do for you this, all I ask in return
Is to place in your window a candle to burn
To comfort and save me when things go amiss
And to strengthen me daily with a passionate kiss.
