What if the secret to happiness in ALL my relationships is in the giving, not the getting?

What would happen if I never once thought about how to get what I wanted, but instead focused my energy on what OTHERS wanted and needed?  And on how I could be of service.

Not in a pushy way.  Not in an unwanted way.  Not in a way that makes me superior, or makes them feel needy or weak, but in a way that holds that person high, and also made a difference for that person. In a way that acknowledges them and makes them feel cared for.

I find that I am happiest when I am not trying to get something from you, but rather looking at how I can honor you.
