SYMPATHY 

Sympathy is like heroin.  The more you give me the more I want.

And it adds no value to my life.

In fact it slows me down.

Makes me forget I am responsible for my own life.

You do not serve me by giving me sympathy.

Give me empathy, and then ask me, “Now what?”
