This descent could use some company.
Medicated by lonliness.
Sold for the one time price of low low
free.
The more I know
the less I care.
Innocence is the price of knowledge
and I have a wealth of callous apathy.

or worse.
You want me to falter.
You want me to fall.
You want me to die of a bloated liver and a metal slug in my shell.
You want to watch as the words bleed from me
drying my pricked fingers
hollowing what little peace I have.
Plucking the wax feathers from my back
one by one.
You taught me to fly
only to watch me denied
of the bauble sun you dangled
of the heaven you scripted.
Of the trillion man march into blind servitude
and slaughter-won disputes of who's house you share.
Only
that's not my problem today

An illusion of passion, true love, during a wet orgasm
My fingers crushing a larynx as that glassy light fades from the embers behind your iris.
My god is a fickle understanding
a brief spark of connection between man and world.
Ink and mind.
Paper and life.
