Key keeper
By: April Terry
A heart so guarded,
She figured it was safe from all man.
Then he came along,
The keeper of her keys.
Within moments,
He was in.
She stood back in awe,
As he worked his magic.
With each passing second,
She fell more in love.
The walls she built,
Crumbled to dust.
The steel doors she welded shut,
All melted away.
A voice so tender,
In a moments times she was his.
Longing for his every touch,
And needing for his love.
Feeling like a new born,
Unable to get enough.
Within days,
He becomes her life.
Though it makes her weary
All she feels is ecstasy.
When he looks at her,
All she sees is love in his eyes.
And when he is hurting,
She feels it deep within.
A love so sudden,
That she knows he’s the one.
Deeper then the ocean
Wider then the skies.
She hangs on his every word,
Each one spoken so perfectly.
Missing him more,
Then anyone before.
Aching deep inside,
When not in his presents.
Waiting for the day,
She’ll be in his arms.
Listening to his heart.
When she looks up,
And says I love you.
