Not that long ago i got a weird email from Classmates.com. Someone sent me a message. I opened the message and for the life of me i didn't know who it was from. As i read thru the message it finally dawned on me who this person really was. This mesage was from a woman i had not seen or spoken to for more than 17yrs. The last time was after I returned from the Gulf War in 1991 and she has been searching for me since then. Sometime around 1999 or 2000 there was an article in the local newspaper which stated I was killed in a car accident. I was? That's news to me anyway. So all this time she thought I was dead! One day, she was going through the classmates directory and came across my profile. As she puts it "she nearly hit the floor". There i was, and all this time she thought i was dead. Now, I've been a member of classmated for quite a long time. At least since 2000.
To make a long story short we reconnected with the help of the internet. We've all heard of stories of people finding long lost friends, parents, or family online but i never thought it would happen to me.
