Kampfer.

I'm thinking more and more seriously about my custom colors for my Kampfer.

Now, I've considered the difficulty of recasting and mounting a tower shield...
but y'know... if I had access to some malleable holster for the shotguns, and some method to articulate the bazookas, I could probably do it.
I should probably flesh out some designs.
See what I can come out with.

If I mix the gray using some ... very specific method, I'm sure it'll be fine.

I'm really fucking tempted to add a few drops of my iridescent ink and seeing what effect that adds to my paint.

Could be awesome, could be catastrophic. I certainly won't attempt it on anything serious before thoroughly testing.

So a dark dark dark grey, recolor the cups... it seems like I'm forgetting someth..ing...

the fucking waist with the impossible exhaust pipes.

I'd be tempted to gut that waist pipe and rethread it with a superfine wire.

Everything else should be... FAIRLY simple, I mean, the thruster cups are all fairly exposed and removeable.
The seams are HUGE and pretty easy to take off from the frame... I recall some difficulty with the femurs but I think its all in the frame. It might still be all things I can spray in tact.
... not that there's anything wrong with buying another kampfer kit and coloring it pre-assembly.

primary colors go to dark grey, cups go to battered steel and red.

I'd much rather refinish the guns and maybe do some two tones, but that involves drilling cutting and glueingnew parts

I'd like to learn some masking techniques, see if I can do some top effects without printing custom screens like Ficht.

So the plan is
G-3 Gundam with the schweet custom white/blue colors and that generic Zeta I was going to recolor.

I think I might actually leave the G3 as an out of box kit.

I mean... I was thinking about getting a standard RX 78 and recoloring it to the G3 configuration but then I found out this kit was available.

I'll be frank.

I dunno what I want to do with the Zeta.
At the moment I have high gloss black
primer white
violet
and royalty blue

Any combination of those colors would work, and yeah I need to get some flat red.

The suit comes gray, I'm painting the nieu ziel black, Kampfer dark gray, Gouf black/violet, Zaku black/gray and the Gelgoog black

so lets go another direction.
