in fact, the list disappears ("you're not a fan of anyone!" it does say)
in my case

but comes back at
http://fubar.com/myfanof.php?idx=86
(then it disappears again for a much larger offset, but that's because I'm asking it to look for people off the scale of my list- of course it disappears then. There should be a better error message, I think- "you're wandering into uncharted territory" would be amusing but at least wouldn't be inaccurate... - but as is, there's this odd gap of 85; judging from the gap between the "fanned" dates one can get by clicking the remove links (but not actually removing), the people inbetween haven't been moved to the other side, they're at least temporarily missing. Hrm.)
