its like the whole world has forgotten,
how to make the young girl smile,

no matter what she does,

the other children all make fun of her,
as they watch the young girl fall,
tears streaming down her cheeks,
standing there alone;
i wish so much that i could help her,
and tell her she is loved,
i want so much to hold her close to me,
so she will feel for once a loved ones hug;
i hate the way they treat her,
and the sadness that she bears,
i hate the way they ignore her,
acting like shes not even there;
the little girl is walking,
this world of ours alone,
trying so hard to find that someone,
who will let her know shes not alone....
