Parents and children's advocates please read and repost! Recently, a very serious problem has been brought to the attention of several members of cafemom. It is a very heinous website called www.puellula.com. This website is a safe haven for pedophiles. The heading on their main page reads, "A Celebration of the Splendor of Little Girls". This website includes links to pictures, or "art" as they call it, of little girls, confessional blogs, a directory of resources for pedophiles (for "both boylovers and girl lovers, as well as anybody else looking for information about pedophilia and consensual child love"), as well as many other links. This site has a manifesto, stating demands to the government to legalize pedophilia. The most disturbing, though, is a link to a page title Sugar and Spice that is specifically for little girls who have "fallen in love" with a pedophile. This site is set up to draw in little girls. It looks like any other fun little girly page. It tells girls that it is okay to be "in love" with an adult, and it is okay to have sex with an adult. A quote from the page: "Remember that information helps you to make the choices that are right for YOU. Don’t let other people think for you, YOU know yourself better than anybody else, so YOU should be the one to decide whom to love and how to use your mind and your body." It has a questions and answers section, downloads, and a page to links for more information. If this information doesn't turn your stomach, hopefully what I'm about to say will. This website claims to be legal. There is even a link on their webpage to report them to authorities. Here is a quote from that page: "Are you outraged by what you have just been reading? Do you think that sites like this should be banned? Do you think that, despite the fact that there is nothing illegal on this site whatsoever, its creators should be locked up? Do you support severely curtailing the constitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of speech and the suspension of civil rights in the execution of draconian laws against law-abiding citizens whose worldview happens to be different than yours? If so, you are in good company! This site has already been reported numerous times to a number of law enforcement organizations including the FBI, the RCMP and Interpol. If you are undeterred by the fact that this site is already well-known within the law enforcement community and that it is in no way illegal, and you still want to do your civic duty and exercise your freedom of speech by denouncing the free speech of another citizen, let us help you. Here we have compiled a list of contacts for a number of law enforcement bodies that you might wish to contact. We have even included a form that will allow you to contact several of these agencies at once!" People, I need your help. I am asking you to do at least one of a few things: 1) Please repost this bulletin. Maybe with the wide circulation that myspace provides, we can raise awareness, initiate outrage, and get this thing shut down. We fill out and pass on surveys, poems about killing pit bulls, etc. Don't you think this warrants the same kind of attention? 2) Report this site to cybertipline.com, and sign the petition at http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/493662088?ltl=1174125902. You can sign this as "anonymous" if you wish. 3) Make your local authorities aware of this website. Several moms on cafemom have alerted their local authorities and many have been very interested and grateful for the heads-up. 4) Contact your congressman and senator. Another disturbing fact about this site is, at the bottom of their page, they openly support Barack Obama for the presidential election. I am sure Mr. Obama would be very displeased to know of this, therefore I, as well as other moms, have already brought this to his attention. If we can get other senators and congressmen in the know, it very well could initiate talk and possibly action by our government. 5) Send this bulletin, or write your own, to your local media. Just as moms have caught the interest of their local authorities, they have also done so with their local news. Several moms have reported back that their news has hopped on board with this and followed up with research and interviews. This way parents without the resources we have with the internet and myspace can be made aware of this. 6) If the information that I have provided doesn't affect you to your core, then please go to this site so you can see for yourself what we are dealing with here. I guarantee you will be disgusted as much as I. Again, I am asking for your help with this. If you have a daughter or son, a little sister or brother, niece or nephew, or even just know a child, then you are affected by this. These people are preying on these children. They say that this disgusting behavior is okay. It is not. If you've made it this far through this bulletin, then I thank you for your time and attention. Just by reading this, you've helped me take one more step to my mission being accomplished. Please, if nothing else, pass this on

I'm Thankful

I AM THANKFUL: FOR THE WIFE WHO SAYS IT'S HOT DOGS TONIGHT, BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME, AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE. FOR THE HUSBAND WHO IS ON THE SOFA BEING A COUCH POTATO, BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS. FOR THE TEENAGER WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME, NOT ON THE STREETS. FOR THE TAXES I PAY BECAUSE IT MEANS< BR>I AM EMPLOYED. FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS. FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT. FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING, WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING, AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME. FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT BECAUSE IT MEANS WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. FOR THE PARKING SPOT I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION. (Embedded image moved to file: pic08421.gif) FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM WARM. FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS I CAN HEAR. FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR. FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES AT THE END OF THE DAY BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD. FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE. AND FINALLY, FOR TOO MUCH E-MAIL BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE FRIENDS WHO ARE THINKING OF ME. SEND THIS TO SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT. I JUST DID. Live well, Laugh often, & Love with all of your heart

HOW COULD SHE DO THIS????

Wife Convicted of Poisoning Marine Husband With Arsenic for Life Insurance

SAN DIEGO — A woman was convicted Tuesday of murdering her Marine husband with arsenic so she could cash in on his $250,000 life insurance policy, some of which she used to have her breasts enlarged.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Prosecutors argued that Cynthia Sommer, 33, wanted a more luxurious lifestyle than she could afford on her 23-year-old husband's $1,700 monthly salary and saw his military life insurance policy as a way to "set herself free."

In addition to the breast enlargement surgery, Sommer's friends and co-workers testified, she threw wild parties and had casual sex with multiple partners in the weeks after her husband's death and the payment of the insurance policy.

Sgt. Todd Sommer was in top condition when he collapsed and died on Feb. 18, 2002, at the couple's home on the Marine Corps' Miramar base in San Diego.

His death was initially ruled a heart attack. Tests of his liver later found levels of arsenic 1,020 times above normal.

Cynthia Sommer, who was arrested in December 2005, swallowed and stared as the verdict was read, while her mother burst into tears. She faces an automatic life sentence. Formal sentencing was set for March 23.

"I'm deeply disappointed," defense attorney Robert Udell said after the verdict. "I don't believe Cindy killed Todd."

With no direct evidence that Sommer was the source of the arsenic, Deputy District Attorney Laura Gunn relied heavily on circumstantial evidence of Sommer's debts to show that she had a motive to kill her husband.

Gunn asserted that the defendant was the only person with the motive and access to poison the Marine.

The Marine's relatives testified that she objected when they asked her to put her husband's $250,000 death benefit in trust for herself, their baby and her three children from a previous marriage. However, she later put a little more than half of the benefit into a trust.

She is now engaged to a former Marine she met two months after her husband's death. She was extradited to California last March from her new home in West Palm Beach, Fla. -------------------------------------------- I hope this woman get the DEATH PENALTY And her NEW Marine BF Wises up.
Just Asking

In recent years there have been moves to remove the words under God from the Pledge to the Flag. Many schools no longer call it Christmas or Easter vacation. It’s now winter and spring break. Nativity scenes are now outlawed in many communities.

As you walk up the steps of the Supreme Court building you'll see the image of Moses and the Ten Commandments!

As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.

As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall, right above where the Supreme Court judges sit, there's a display of the Ten Commandments!

There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C.

James Madison, the fourth president, known as "The Father of Our Constitution" made the following statement "We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."

Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding Father of our country said, "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians, not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ".

Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.

52 of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established Orthodox churches in the colonies.

The very first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, said, "Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers."

How, then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for nearly 220 years in this country is now suddenly wrong and unconstitutional?

Housekeeping Monthly article from 1955

Have things changed in the past 50 years or what? Here's an article that appeared in 1955 - "The Good Wife's Guide".

Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready, on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and look forward to a good meal.

Prepare yourself. Take 15 miutes to rest so you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He's had a tough day.

Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Gather up schoolbooks, toys, paper, etc and then run a dustcloth over the tables.

Over the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. After all, caring for his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.

Minimize all noise. Turn off the washer, dryer or vacuum. Encourage the children to be quiet.

Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.

Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first. Remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.

Make the evening his. Never complain if he comes home late or goes out to dinner, or other places of entertainment without you. Instread, try to understand his world of strain and pressure.

Your goal is try to make sure your home is a place of peace, order and tranquility.

Don't greet him with complaints and problems.

Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or have him lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.

Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.

Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness.

A good wife always knows her place.
Deck of Cards

What do you see when you play with a deck of cards? Some people see the opportunity to make some money...or lose some money in a casino or a poker table. Some see it as a symbol of the things they hold dear in their lives.

The ace or the card with one spot shows there is but one God.

The card with two spots reminds us the Bible is divided into two parts, the Old and New Testaments.

The three is symbolic of the three persons in the Trinity.

The four tells us the New Testament was written by the four evangelists.

The five - that there were five foolish and five wise virgins. The six reminds us God created the world in six days.

And with the seven - that God rested on the seventh day.

The card with the eight spots reminds us of the eight beatitudes.

The nine tells of the nine lepers who failed to return to the Savior to give thanks.

The ten is for the Ten Commandments.

The Jack is the devil who seeks to destroy souls.

The Queen is Mary – mother of God.

The King represents the Kingdom of Heaven.

The 52 cards in the deck tell us there are 52 Sundays in the year.

There are 13 cards to a suit, relating to the 13 lunar cycles in the year.

There are 12 face cards, reminding us of the 12 calendar months to each year.

The four suits – hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs signify the four seasons.
Original Blog: http://cherrytap.com/blog.php?blogid=36664&pid=141259 I just read this fellowing Blog on a new Friends page. It is both Very Touching & thought out. Our Leaders in Washington should take lessens from him. I want to thank Big Daddy for allowing me to reblog this onto my page. Here is his blog without any editing!!
----------------------------------------------- I agree that the original author does not have a good grasp on the English Language. If fact, it sounds like he (I assume he) is trying to sound like a red-blooded American hick. However, the point that is being made should be clarified. The United States was founded on some of the basic principles that we take for granted today. The most common one is religion. This is a country mostly made up of immigrants or decendants there of. It was established by European immigrants and has since included natives and immigrants from all over the globe. This is still true today. Anytime that you have a melting pot of that size, there will be a rich diversity of culture and heritage. This should be cherished, after all, that is what America is. The point that is being overlooked is that America's National language is English. Does that mean that no one can speak anything other than English, Hell No. What it does mean is that the National Anthem of our Country was written in English, adopted in English, and sung in English. Until we (USA) adopt a second National language like Canada, the National Anthem should not be sung in any other language. The other main point that this individual tried to convey was that this is a free country. Of course, everyone citizen has the right to bad-mouth the military, put down the government and make direct insults to our Command-in-Chief. After all, it's the military, the government and President that gives you that right. Who's the bigger person? If you, as a citizen, do not like this country for what it is, there are three simple choices, run for elected office and change what you do not like, lobby the elected official that you may or may not have voted for (if you even voted) for those changes, or Leave! Talking shit about the men and women that put themselves on the line everyday to give you that right, should not be tolerated, BUT, that is your right and they are defending your right to do it, as a citizen. The final point I will bring up on this subject is that of being a citizen. There is a process to immigrate into this country. It is really a very simple process. I have absolutely no problem with immigration, after all, it is what America was founded on. The problem is illegal immigration and the citizens who accept it. When you look a statistics, actual facts, about the crime committed by illegal immigrants, it's mind-boggling. Los Angeles county alone has stats that are phenominal. I won't put them here, but I will provide them on request. Final thoughts: -All illegal immigrants should be removed from the United States of America. -Until a second national language is approved by the government, English should be the only language spoken in any goverment building, facility, or property. The National Anthem should only be sung in English. -The immigration process should be easy to access and understand. -Languages that are geographically specific based on the local heritage demographic should be taught to a higher degree in grade schools. -If you do not like this country, either change it, or get out!!! Original posting: IF y'all know me.then you know I speak my mind and I mayb right and I may b wrong..so let me know. 1st off I do not have a prejudice bone in my body that I know of. Every body is equal in God's eyes. Right? ok 2nd OUR military went into other countries from way back in the spanish american war to make our country free for united states citizens and naturals. right again? ok 3rd America IS a free country where people can pretty much do what they want. right again. But you do not break our rules or disrespect us either. BUT I think is is DAYUM RUDE for people who r from other countries to be talkin a different language in the us of a. when english speaking americans r around when they get together. Americas primary language is english (I realize that they say that we will become spanish speaking ourselves in the future) But when people do not speak in english and our tearing down our help in our stores or bitching about the service or whatever in a different language it is not fair, nor is it right. Because I know if someone was talking about me I would want to know about it. Then when I say something in their language to them they come back this is america a free country i will speak whatever language i want to me in ENGLISH! and I say america is free because we fought y'all to make it free for our people beleive me that was NOT a free invitation for y'all to come here to the land of the free. If you are going to b in our country and try to b a citizen of our country u need to speak our language, and stop being rude and impolite to us, and finding fault with us too. If you r not happy with what we can give you get the hell out! I'm sorry, but I speak my mind and this person just really got to me..well actually the whole bunch of them did there were like 20 of them all jabbing away in their own language not realizing some people can b bilingual in this country and do understnd what they r saying. What r the trying to hide ne ways?? DAYUM!!! I'm sorry, but I said what I had to and I think I am right to! For any body I offendd I am sorry also..I'm just putting my two cents worth in IN ENGLISH! ------------------------------------------------

I Believe......

I believe - . . . that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do. I believe - . . . that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change. I believe - . . . that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that. I believe - . . . that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true Love. I believe - . . . that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life. I believe - . . . that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be. I believe - . . . that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them. I believe - . . . that you can keep going long after you think you can't. I believe - . . . That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel. I believe - . . . that either you control your attitude or it controls you. I believe - . . . that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences. I believe - . . . that money is a lousy way of keeping score. I believe - . . . that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time. I believe - . . . that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up. I believe - . . . that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel. I believe - . . . that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated. I believe - . . . that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself. I believe - . . . that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief. I believe - . . . that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become. I believe - . . . that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever. I believe - . . . two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different. I believe - . . . that your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you. I believe - . . . that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you - you will find the strength to help. I believe - . . . that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being. I believe - . . . that the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon. I believe - . . . that you should send this to all of the people that you believe in. I just did.
